  1. Call me old fashioned, but if you have 4 divisions, what's wrong with calling them divisions 1,2,3 and 4?

  2. Or we could go with Aaron (Doran), Curtis (Allen), Danny (Williams) and Conor (Pepper)......AC/DC!!!

  3. I hope to see an attacking 4 of Doran, Mackay, Agdestein and Evans, simply so that we can have our very own ABBA (Aaron, Billy, Bjorn and Adam).

  5. Whenever Foran was missing for us last season we struggled. I'd have him start if fit, I believe he brings more to the team than we credit him for. Either way great to see the squad so strong. Happy Beastie!

  6. I see Dean Brill had (one of) the new goalie kits on against Charlton. Very smart I thought. Edit - Here's the best picture I could find (and it's not a very good one!) -

  7. This is worse than last year lol. At least we played half a season before getting the open top bus out. Let's worry about taking at least a point v St Mirren and not letting them score in the 91st minute. We've hardly been tested pre-season.

  8. I was there! What a lovely stadium, even though it was a little hot, particularly in the first half! Thought the back four was superb and was really impressed by Vincent and Draper. Brill seemed fairly solid, but then again didn't have that much to deal with. Polworth and Williams were alright, while Mckay worked hard but wasn't in it much. Seen Doran play better if I'm honest. Our style of football at times was a sight to behold, where I think the only long balls were a goal kick and a couple of clearances. Our set-up without the ball was interesting to watch as well. From what I could see in the first half anyway, Warren and Meekings marked the furthest forward central players, while Williams dealt with the Charlton number 14 (who looked a good player actually), while Shinnie covered the space. Seemed to work quite well. Play like that this season, and we'll have a great one to look forward. I think at this rate, Europe is not just a possibility, it's a probability.

  10. Pretty poor losing that with a relatively strong side.

  11. I don't know about anyone else, but seeing that teamsheet fills me with great anticipation for the season. A solid bunch of regulars with some impressive new signings. I'll stick to my previous season's expectation of decent, entertaining football, and so long as we finish above them over the bridge I dont care.

  12. Just wanted to say thanks guys and girls for coming down for the game, and well done with the result today. Colin Powell would have appreciated the turn out from ICT fans for his testimonial, and if you play like that this season youll storm the SPL. We are all a bit worried about the season ahead at Charlton but we will see how we go.... Anyways, hope to play you guys again in the future, maybe at your place next time around!

  13. The biggest laugh was the quote: " "A mountain of work has been done over the summer to get to this point and I believe there is much more that can be done," said SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster." Really? Translates as: "We argued and argued and argued, then wee Hamish said "why dinnae we jus dae whit rae English dae?" and we all agreed. And went to lunch before hitting the course for 18 holes.

  14. Both set ups have a Doncaster that does not perform very well.

  15. Premier League (the real one) also has a lion as it's logo. All we need now is for the Highland and Lowland leagues to be renamed the North Conference and South Conference.
