Ross County made an operating loss of £450,000 for the year to 30 June 2014. Turnover fell from £3.2 million to £2.8 million so it shows the difference not making top 6 can make. It will be interesting to see the loss they make this year because the wages paid out to the huge numbers of players signed an released must be huge.

Essons distribution isnt as good, he always punts the ball long and high, we rarely have a keeper clearance or kick out where we retain the first ball when Esson is in goal. Brill tries to kick long but also throws and distributes to build from the back - when Esson plays our build up play changes to trying to pick up the ball or regain possession lost from goal kicks. The rest of their play is comparable, but perhaps just based on length of time playing together we look stronger as a defensive unit with Brill.

Nothing wrong with Esson playing in goal. He is less panicky when receiving a pass back. The Dundee goal was down to Meekings not reacting quick enough and the ball came off him into the path of Clarkson. Esson had no chance with the goal, or possibly most since he came back.

I don't think it's just this last game that people are cheesed off about, but 1 win in our last 7 games is no much fun. Only Hamilton have achieved less than us. Swap ourselves for Counties run over the last seven games and we would be 15 points better off. I know that's not really an equation that is fool proof, but it's a massive points difference and one which would see us challenging Celtic and not trying to fend off equally faltering sides around us. It's getting to the stage where it's difficult to see where our next win is going to come from. I hope our fortunes change soon, if not then a few teams will be knocking on the Euro door.

We need to have a "right good go" at Aberdeen this week. What's to lose? It would be good to roar into the Europa league instead of dribbling over the line on account of DU's implosion.....or worse, just missing out again!

My only wish for now is that we win another game before the end of the season. I know I will get ripped to shreads for this but I am getting very frustrated at the way we are playing, the team selection and the complete lack of information about players contracts. I know we are third and in a semi-final but it could be so much more.
