  1. Great news , a striker and a decent contract . Well done Richie good start . Looking forward to next signing .Exciting times
  2. A very positive signing by the sounds of it, a striker that has a recent record of scoring goals. See Yogi, that wasn't so difficult .
  3. I know dire stuff up here. We've only got the one player going to Euro 2016.
  4. Great stuff, he's exactly the type of player to go for, someone on the up.
  5. As I understand it, any Scottish teams having to travel to Wales or Ireland will have the cost subsidised by the SPFL. The Challenge Cup was badly in need of a new injection of life and I like what's being tried here. I think we do a disservice to lower league teams by suggesting they couldn't compete with premiership U20's squads....as we know, there's a few who have given full premiership teams a run for their money on many occasions.
  6. Potentially a 3 year deal according to a P&J article just posted
  7. Mutumbo - silence. Roberts - silence although apparently the club did have a one year option on him. Whatever that means. Devine - apparently offered a contract. Nothing signed. Rumoured to be attracting interest from Colchester (?) Williams - story in the Courier or P & J suggesting that he might be offered a deal by Foran. Nothing more on that.
  8. Scott Boden will be signing in the next couple of days, Newport County striker. He scored 15 goals for a pretty poor Newport side last season and hit double figures with both Halifax Town and Maccelsfield in previous seasons. He played with both Ross Draper and Carl Tremarco at Macclesfield.
  9. See, his potential is enough already to have the poachers sniffing around
  10. 0 points
He will get a job somewhere on the back of his cup success with us. He may even be successful for a spell before familiar patterns develop...
  11. There is no way any u20 team will win this cup. At least the beaks are making an effort by changing the structure and should be applauded for doing so.
