The good news - the new design will be unveiled by being body-painted onto a model. The bad news - the model is CaleyD!

Probably a good idea to incorporate pride of the highlands. Aberdeen can't knick the badge too then.
  3. Interesting article from Duncan Shearer in the Scotsman: http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/teams/inverness-ct/duncan-shearer-inverness-ct-overplayed-under-john-hughes-1-4162686 I like the sense of togetherness around ICT at the moment and I'm glad to see the acknowledgement from within the coaching team that we "overplayed" last season. I'm really optimistic for this season: a combination of players with the skills and coaching to retain possession when necessary, and a more attacking philosophy could work very well.
  4. Nah, we're just waiting for our signing targets to return from the Euros.
  5. It wasn't just a day, we had that abomination for several seasons IIRC!

Good to see we are now in the top half of the league on BBC website with County and Rangers already in relegation trouble!
  7. As I understand it, any Scottish teams having to travel to Wales or Ireland will have the cost subsidised by the SPFL. The Challenge Cup was badly in need of a new injection of life and I like what's being tried here. I think we do a disservice to lower league teams by suggesting they couldn't compete with premiership U20's squads....as we know, there's a few who have given full premiership teams a run for their money on many occasions.
  8. This is an important competition for lower league clubs and, generally speaking, one of their very few opportunities to win silverware. The competition worked well on that level and will be much the poorer for being won by the likes of Celtic's youth team. A poor and self interested decision in my view.

It certainly was fan derived/driven. If memory serves, the first it was used as a strapline was here on CTO....it then gained popular use among the fans with the rise of social media. That hideous 'Together We Believe, Together We Achieve' garbage you refer to was borrowed from kids at a primary school. They were over the moon that the club made use of it....and I personally think it's great when the club do these things and bring a bit of cheer to people. Just unfortunate that there's those who are more predisposed to automatically knock such efforts for whatever reason.
