  1. Looking at these highlights we played good passing football and the knockdown from White for Aaron to score a great goal was what I have been looking for all season.
  2. It was a sore one. However we appeared to get oyr fair share of the decisions yesterday. I didnt moan once re ref...lol
  3. Excellent win at a tough venue! Well done ICT Just noticed in the highlights that big Jord took an elbow to the face from a defender as he set up Doran for his goal! Not a word said by the ref. What with the elbow Carl took right in front of ar5e linesman two weeks ago I'm wondering if this means the officials are more blind than normal? Or just feckin poor?
  4. Hmmm this is not a criticism of Jordan at all but to say he scored 2 yesterday when offside is rather pushing it.....
  5. Better phottie Mantis ? ?
  6. Just about defrosted... Much better performance from us compared to recent horror shows against Arbroath and sub par showings in the Clyde and Dundee games. Alloa played some good stuff in the first half as well and were unlucky to find themselves two down at the break. Slice of good fortunate for the opener. The ball was lofted towards the Alloa goal and MacDonald burst forward coming to claim it but one of the Alloa defenders clearly thought he was still on his line and headed it over him and it trundled into the net. Second strike was a lovely goal. Rooney crossed for White and he knocked it back down to Doran who lashed the ball into the net from 10 yards out. Great finish right on half time to put us firmly in the driving seat. Keatings and Doran had other good opportunities in the first half to put us further ahead before the second goal game but Alloa also had some good chances as well. Couldn't see who it was (maybe Flannigan?) but Ridgers had to look sharp to hit a well struck effort over the bar. Second half saw Dick sent off when he lunged wildly into a challenge on Keatings. A deserved red card followed and with that the game petered out. Prior to this we had looked likely to add to our lead but once Alloa were down to 10 men the game fizzled out. White had perhaps the best chance when he headed over from a Doran corner. Good performances from the likes of Doran, Carson and Tremarco today. Alloa, as I say, were perhaps a bit unlucky. They played some really good football at times and created some reasonable (half) chances. Good to see us being the clinical side for a change.
