  3. The highlights made it look like a pretty good, even game. It is telling Dundee players did not protest at the penalty, whilst we clearly thought their second was offside. We need to tighten up a bit at the back but we looked good going forward. Two great finishes by Harper, and hopefully a lot more like that to come from him. A word too for Oakley. His hold up play as we countered was instrumental in letting us get the third goal.

  4. Set pieces a problem to be addressed in training this week. This league is certainly very competitive. Brilliant win though as a defeat would have piled pressure on our management team.

  5. Written through Dundee-tinted glasses! https://dundeefc.co.uk/match/inverness-ct/ Written through Inverness-tinted glasses: https://ictfc.com/match-report-dundee-2-3-ictfc-17-09-2022 But what was Billy Mckay doing on the goal line? Thankfully he stopped a goal. Anyway, job done and a welcome three points.

  6. Dodds seems to prefer Harper in a further forward role and it seems to be working, with him adding goals to his game. Despite playing most of his game time at left back, he is our joint top scorer with Billy Mckay, both on 4 and 2 assists each. Our recent results have been encouraging, but it will be interesting to see what our starting line up will be when we have a full squad. I see Duffy was missing today, which is probably why Harper was playing alongside Allardice, whilst Welsh, MacGregor, Walsh and Sutherland are all to return at some point. I’m a lot happier than three weeks ago but we need to maintain consistency and build on our last two results.
