  1. Back tae the fitba; can’t see how this crowd of Methil renegades (on parole for the weekend), led by a decrepit old has-been that’s been kicked out of a dozen clubs can dare to show there face today and expect nothing but a thumpin. 😀bc
  2. Sounds like I missed a great second half. To be top of he league by the end of September beats all our most optimistic hopes. Kell must be in line for Manager of the Month again. Hamilton seem to be emerging as our biggest rivals so let’s put them in their place next Saturday. Well done to all involved!
  3. Wasn’t too impressed with first half. Thought we were playing too many sideways passes going nowhere. Lost a bad goal when the east fife player going nowhere eased past our defender put a cross onto Austin’s button for a free header past Munro. Second half we had a little more urgency until the introduction of bavidge changed the game. He had energy, speed, was direct and caused havoc in east fife defence. What ever was holding him back this season is gone and is a must start next game.
  4. For a few minutes last Saturday, until Stenny scored Seriously, though, 2 points clear after 8 games, having given them all a 5 point start, is amazing! Averaging over 2.6 points per game, whilst all of the others are below 2.
  5. Top of the league. When could we last say that?
  6. Naw listen! That was what I call a very entertaining way to spend a Saturday. Football is FUN again. Well done lads, on the game and also on reaching top of the table.
  7. The standing stand looked good - shame that the rain came along. It was also funny to hear a very young, young team of supporters giving Douglas Ross a hard time at one stage. And lots of new strips on the youngsters too. The future's looking bright 💰.
  8. Wotherspoon's second goal was pure class. Our attendance was way greater than the other four games combined. Easton's injury did not look very good. We wish him well. The young referee was very good. The entertainment when he asked a substitute to return from the field of play to the dugout was made funnier by the announcer when he went back on again. Presumably 'Two Soups' messed up the paperwork. Hamilton looks like a really challenging game next weekend.

  10. Was a wee bit concerned at half time. Felt the first half was a bit subdued and their equaliser a shock. Needn’t have worried. In the second half we blew them away. Our 4th goal being the pick of the bunch with a brilliant combination from Billy to Bavidge who powered through on goal and slammed past the keeper. Great feeling to be back at the top of the league again, especially from a -5 start. Special mention to DRoss who to be fair is a much better assistant referee than he is a politician, . . . . and he’s a feckin sheeeite assistant referee! How he managed to determine a goal kick against wotherspoon when the defender clearly kicked the ball out is beyond me!
  11. Great day with other results going in our favour too. 5 point deduction brushed aside before the end of September, top of the league already and looking like we could very well hang on to it. So, Eagle4Caley, how much are you enjoying your season so far? 😁
  12. Well done to the team today.
  13. I’m missing tomorrow’s game due to a family birthday but I’ll have the BBC Sport app to hand to stay close to the action and the score. We’ve been much more eager to take shots on in the last two games and I hope that continues tomorrow and we keep our winning run going. If we play as we can, there’s no reason why we shouldn’t get all three points. Enjoy the game all of you who are lucky enough to be able to go!
