  1. It’s points that matter at this stage of the season. Performances are a bonus. If we win the league by grinding out 1-0 wins I won’t be complaining. Well I might forget that sometimes as I am greedy and want good performances too but at the end of the day promotion is what counts and what the record books will hopefully show come May.
  2. Today’s wish list: 1 Beat the Accies - job done ✔️ 2 Montrose to beat Stenny - ok I’ll take the draw ✔️ 3 Beat the English in the pointy ball game - gubbed ‘em ✔️ 4 Tranmere to end their losing streak - Boss kidda ✔️ 5 Canaries to reach 5th round - On The Ball City ✔️ Oh just a perfect day! Cheers Lou for the perfect song for today 😁
  3. Amongst others, but I thought Zimba was awful. Always on his erse for such a big lad. Needed somebody up front who could hold the ball and play someone in. Should have been hooked at half time, simply a passenger.
  4. Poor game with a , just about deserved win. Too many players not at their best and seemingly unable to pass to each other especially late in the second half. Still, a vital win and a win next week would put us in a strong position. By the way, the playing surface looked and played, dreadfully at times. These surfaces really need to be banned.
  5. I actually think some of our fans would prefer we play like Brazil and lose ratger than grind out a win sometimes! Me Im delighted with 3 points and otger results going our way. Id take the same next week at fortress PSG Sarens. A real opportunity to open a real gap. Tbf if it wasnt for the deduction it would be thrre already. Well done to the lads
  6. Just thawing out and watching it back. I’ll sub Queens and County losing for nos 4 and 5. Paul Allan MoM for me.
  7. That was a hard fought win. The first half was relatively comfortable but the second was much tougher. The table looks much better tonight than it did this morning.
  8. Well done lads. Good win on a pitch which looked awful. Great couple of hours TV viewing, with the rugby on one set and our game on Alba on the other. I was bouncing between the two sets like a yoyo at times. Happy days.
  9. Oli Shaw. Has been at Killie and County amongst others. He is top scorer in League1 this season with 13 strikes. In comparison Bavidge 8 League goals Zimba 7 League goals
  10. Well done to the team and the travelling supporters yesterday. Keep on keeping on for the final push - how good would it be to go straight up without any dreaded play off games? C'mon Caley
  11. You're right about the pitch, it is hard enough playing on a 3G pitch when you normally play on a proper grass surface most of the time, but this looked well past its best more like 1G. Hamilton are really the fourth best team in this league, results wise, and often a bogey team, so winning away on a February evening, without conceding a goal or even a shot on target is good enough for me A terrific goal from a set piece...Bavidge is lethal from 6-8 yards out [a skill not to be sneezed at] Stand out players for me? our two centre backs, plus Brannan, Stewart, Macleod, Robertson. and a nice cameo from Willox. Not Zimba's day, but everyone is allowed an off day if they have contributed in other games BTW I thought Accies No.9 looked very decent [and should have scored] and their No.27...depending on what happens at the end of the season, maybe we should be sniffing around them
  12. That was a big (and deserved) win. Now on to Stenny and a win then will make the table look really good.
  13. 1-0 win for us, making it a great day overall with rivals dropping points.
This leaderboard is set to London/GMT+01:00
