  1. Yeah must be Jamie Duff. Guy Kerr never got injured, just failed to live up to his potential. Now playing for Penicuik Athletic in the East Juniors.
  2. Growing up in Scotland you got a brief snippet or two of the English matches at the end of Sportscene, which, for all you youngsters, was much better than it is now, if only because the football on show was good enough to compete with the English games back then. So we were aware of Ray Stewart all right, but his equivalent in Scotland was Tommy Gemmell who used the same tactics, even just blasting it right up the middle sometimes, and scored 31/34 for Celtic, in addition to a rasper from open play against Inter in the 1967 EC final. I'm sure nobody actually saved the other three, they probably just missed the target!
  3. He'll be in for a shock - I bet he was expecting to stay in a house.
  4. There's a difference between being positive and being arrogant. Did we not just lose to the team that had gathered fewer points than Hearts? I hope the players at least go out showing the opposition more respect than you.
  5. I wish people would stop talking about the final before we're in it. This usually comes back to bite us on the erse.

Aye not wanting to stereotype a large proportion of our fan base but I reckon he's the exact type of fan ICT seems to attract Wouldn't be surprised he voted differently than your goodself 20 years ago Dougal Aye Dougal you're like a dug wi a rabbit

Aaaaagh! Terrible. Seems a bit patronising to me in a sort of 'I'm an incomer to this quaint place' sort of stylee.
  8. Figured it out - business reasons. Cownty are so dire that even 11th place will not save them so we helped out uncle Roy's boys to ensure more derbies. The rest of my thoughts on the game disappeared and I'm fecked if I'm typing it all again on an iPhone.
  9. Can't see where you're getting that from Dougal...... Charlie's problem was the non-important games Like the time he allegedly sat with the spew bucket between his knees on the way to Fort William, a result of a night on the bevvy after being assured the game would be off.
  10. Man up and get on with it, or pass it on to me Amrut is good stuff. Mrs Mantis and I are spending New Year in Broadford where the bar has a signed ICT top on the wall. We got back after being out all day and discovered a couple of complimentary miniatures of Drambuie in our room.
  11. You mean they'll be blootering it into the stand? But they do that anyway
  12. Shows how limited partick are when the Well can take 5 off them. The signs were there on Boxing Day, as somebody said they're useless in midfield but we just didn't show up. Two points dropped, probably more important than losing 3 points today.

Thanks Sneckboy. Can you prove me right for Hearts too
  14. Thought we were very poor today, thought P*r*ick were more up for it and worked very hard. The lad Doolan missed a sitter of a header before ht although it would have been harsh on us. Second half they must have missed at least 3 more sitters and we were lucky to get a point. Archibald seems to encourage them to shoot on sight with the result that they kept having to fetch new balls every time somebody blootered it out of the park. We only showed quality in flashes, you could see the difference in the sides there, but it only lasted about 2 mins at a time. First look at Williams and not very impressed, centre mid along with Draper who wasn't at his best either today but probably because he was doing 2 jobs. Seen Marley a few times now and though he's got the skill and pace, not sure he's got the temperament or the heart. Not sure about Tremarco either, fairly solid but doesn't have any idea what to do with the ball. Would like to see Dave the Rave back with Shinzaa, Josh and Warren who as usual were superb. Doran not bad but lacks that extra spark. Wee Billy battled away as always for little reward, too many long punts for him to fish out of the sky. Keep it on the deck and we're a good side. Felt sorry for Nicky Ross who was hooked for Greenhalgh, who in turn looked like he could have changed the game if he'd got half an hour. Partick fans bad as ever, howling at the ref for booking Elliot for pulling back Nicky breaking away in space, while not realising Draper is allowed to use his strength to win the ball. Only the second time ever I've been in the main stand. Great bogs (sarcasm smiley).

I agree with you overall, but we have a dire record against St Mirren? Never. We've dished out a few hammerings to them over the years and I think we've only lost once at their new place, last season in midweek. Tynecastle a very unhappy hunting ground? Hearts are a huge club who would see us as a minnow and yet over the years I can hardly ever remember going there and getting humped. Nothing but happy memories in fact.

Do you think his butt grows at a faster rate than people can tattoo it?
  17. Deek's not in the frame then?

    Well done lads
  19. Lizzie massaging him in the travelodge. Meanwhile I was getting wired into Caley100's 50th birthday present, Glenfarclas
  20. I can see that, some of the draw's been made in bold type
  21. Lee Wallace I think
  22. Can they win a point before their cup final on New Year's Day?
  23. Just watched the game back again and even more impressed by Billy's 2 strikes especially no 2 where he never broke stride or even looked up. A player high in confidence right now. To think Celtic got £5m for Hooper. Watkins is a great prospect but needs to work on his final ball.
