Brew was appointed only a few days before the window closed so he inherited CC's squad. It's obvious that he has learned from his mistakes in his last management job. He will be expected to sort most of this in January. That's a million miles away from suggesting that there's big problems at the club (compared to any other club). Get real.

Who on this thread was actually there? It was a freak result, like the time we lost 3-1 at Dundee at New Year 2005 and then went on a long unbeaten run. We gifted them 3 goals which ended the game and I have to say Mikey looked at fault for the 4th too. We actually played far better than the league game where again we gifted them 2 goals. The midfield controlled huge spells of the game. That's the good news. The bad news is, the defence needs sorted, pronto. Also some people say we can't score goals (except against the diddy teams). But if you look at the SPL table our 15 goals is about average.

We didn't punt it all night though. Some of the stuff we played was excellent, good pace and movement, and I don't just mean after we were 3-0 down and they sat back. After 20 mins we couldn't believe we were 2-0 down, we had been playing that well, with Rosscoe and Cowie rampaging down the right and Barry on the left. The two pens were absolutely needless. Strange night though. I'd like to see some stats for that game. We had so much of the ball and phuq knows how many corners. If we had their defence and our midfield we wouldn't be sitting here moaning.

Why are C(o)unty not in there, that's what I want to know :023:
