  1. Aye Alex, I know, I realised my mistake the first time
  2. I still think we're capable of beating them a week on Saturday though. Whereas if we play them on Friday it might be tough.
  3. I don't think the final is any kind of indicator. We're capable of beating them a week on Saturday but I think they'll slowly pull away in the league. Edit: anybody but those Partick feckers.
  4. I think Charlie would do a decent job in SFL1. The footy was pretty good to watch too. Mind you I'm gonna lamp him for nearly knocking 2 of us over with his Merc coming into the car park for the Partick game the other week.
  5. Are they feck. If you mean 15 years ago in the HL, then you're spot on. Our stadium was built in 1996.
  6. If you lighten that photo up in photoshop you can see two staggies doing something naughty to each other.
  7. Damage? Improvements surely. :004:  Next time Butcher should do the away end toilets :023:
  8. You were well pished Rich. It was Somers ;)
  9. Nah, there was plenty room if you moved forward a bit. I was standing to the left of the goals and there was more room than last time I was there 5 years ago.
  10. Assuming Bulvitis is one of the players he's 'had enough of', who else have we got that can play centre half? I can't think of anybody apart from Ross. Before anybody says Rosscoe can't either, I would say in div 1 he would cope. He never lost a header yesterday. But who else is on the books apart from Jamie Duff?
  11. Spot on Johndo. Actually enjoyed it in a perverse sort of way.
  12. Positives: we spread a lot of happiness around Ross-shire today...... I heard one guy on the way out saying 'What a day! Even Jennifer Lopez couldn't make it better'. That used to be us. Good to visit Cabbagetown and their wee diddy stadium after nearly six years. BTW the away toilets are still seriously shocking. Well beaten today. I thought 2-1 flattered us but we did have more actual chances than C(o)unty. Bulvitis and Tokely had free headers and if Imrie could shoot straight he might have pinged one of his many blooters past McGovern instead of into the Jail End. The two goals were shocking though - County never created much else even though sometimes it looked to me as if they had an extra man. Interesting to see how things panned out if it was goalless at half time. I think Somers was a bad choice of ref for a derby like that, he's got short person syndrome. Wanted to impose himself on people like Duncan and Butcher but forgot to watch all the off the ball stuff going on, and feet being left in the tackle. Adams obviously had them clued up to niggle Duncan and Imrie which worked well. Also the ref missed the ball being kicked away at least three times at our fouls which is another thing Duncan was moaning about. People should take a leaf out of Foran's book and just play - as they say it's a man's game. Just like so many games this season we came out and played OK after half time once the game was virtually lost. I don't think Butcher is the answer but we may as well give him the season now. At this rate top 4 will be an achievement. Still wouldn't be surprised if we produce a performance in the final in 2 weeks though.
  13. That's right. At the moment the law discriminates against the male, even if the burd is the same age.
  14. Interthenet is Yompa. Whatever happened to Mr Eager :P And there was a guy called Naelifts......
  15. I thought he was helluva impulsive and gave away a few spot kicks, like the one at Killie in the Cup replay. Going back a bit, he got a red against Alloa away once for stamping on a boy when we were 4-0 up FFS. But he had a stormer at centre half on 8/2/00.
  16. An ex pupil of mine. His family was always good for comps at away games.
  17. Great league though. Anybody can beat anybody.
  18. Full time 4-1 ;)
  19. Rooney scores
  20. "Oh I would do anything for tickets..... But I won't do that"
  21. He caught it in Edinburgh - always use spirigel
  22. i actually think your wrong and our support will increase season after season You can keep us posted then And even when the football was terrific under Pele, at the new stadium the crowds fell away to about 1700 in div 1. We used to go down the A9 after a game asking what ICT had to do to get the great Inverness public to come and watch. I remember writing something around the time Denzil left, something about a public that didn't deserve him. We've gained a whole new support from the SPL days - at the moment we're one of the better supported clubs in the league - but evidence from the likes of Dunfermline shows that over a long spell in div 1 you slowly lose them.
  23. The time we played them when Boner got sent off, we had two double deckers from the Caley Club. Those buses were rocking from side to side going over the bridge at the end of that game. Happy days.
  24. It was Craig Thomson. EDIT - absent friend is right- he handled the game very well. Had the confidence to make decisions without being panicked into anything by the 'large' home support. Oh aye, GIRUY Celtic, I hope a similar fate awaits the other lot in the semis.
