  1. I must confess to luring him over there as I had spotted an Elgin-lover post :015: :015: :015: A day or so later I had a look in to see he had managed about 35 posts then a ban. I'm sure you mean well mif but the whole forum has a po-faced attitude- there was nothing offensive about his wind-ups (granted we know him better than you) and some of these guys were absolutely foaming at the mouth. All desperate to accuse IHE of being a kid while missing the irony that they were childishly rising to his bait with their spelling/grammar comments :023: And the solution? Och, just ban him and sweep it all under the carpet. Tell them to use the 'ignore' button if they don't want banter. Also the whole forum jumping to conclusions about the population of Inverness based on what? One poster plus the 'opinion' of another poster who claims to know that we're all morons. Wow! BTW, if you ban IHE then what about the gorilla? EDIT: Just seen the 'Cartoon' about Inverness coming to visit. Mif thinks it's 'quality'. Amazing how some people can be original and witty without resorting to stereotypes. Well, apart from Stirling supporters obviously :023:

That's the point! SSPCA not RSPCA Ministers not vicars Advocates not Barristers St Andrew's not St John's Procurator Fiscal not Crown Prosecution Service HMI not OFSTED etc, etc But these words are misused every day on 'our' BBC.
  3. The Mantis replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
OFSTED. I mean things that keep getting mentioned on the "BBC" that have nothing to do with us, but they just forget to say.....

You just beat me to it Charles, I was going to say that Kingsmills would be along to put us right, but I thought they were both 'defamation' in Scotland. How about a list of things we don't have in Scotland: Vicars St John's Ambulance Service Barristers RSPCA More??
  5. I'm sure I've been in that restaurant thingy before a game. It was walking distance. Is it like one of these Brewer's Fayre type of pubs?
  6. He's changed his mind. It's Wattie Smith now :001:
  7. Mate of mine with Rangers connections is mentioning Billy Davies
  8. That was Naelifts at Broadwood. I would never have the brass neck. The fecker was haggling with the guy at Falkirk on Saturday- 'Four quid? Tell you what, I'll give you two quid and say no more about it' :015: :015: :015: He always used to haggle with programme sellers too.
  9. I don't remember it being free. In div 2 we used to hand the boy a 20 as he never had enough change, they certainly never made much off our travelling support.

Aye, got it in one Davie. Many good days out there masel.
  11. I mind seeing Corcoran running riot when youse played Motherwell in the cup, but hardly heard of him since.

What, so Fletcher does the holding job now?
  13. What about IHE and Cyril the Squirrel having a square go in the centre circle?
  14. The Mantis replied to davieB's topic in Caley Thistle
RETURN OF THE KING CLICKY HERE THINGY!
  15. Was cleaning out a cupboard of old videos today, came across County (including a very young Barry Wilson) beating Forfar (with Bobby Mann and David Bingham).

It's no good Rory. Face it, you'll never get back in the team now :015: :015: :015: :015:
  17. It's Brimsie McAllister :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:
  18. Signed by Greigy after getting 2 goals in a game that finished 6-3. Urq also scored a cracker of a winner after about 87 mins in the 1984 game away to Stirling. Albion had already printed the programmes since the Rangers match was on the following Saturday.
  19. I'm pretty sure we'll be sitting opposite the tunnel just like the old days. The terracing'll no be open unless we suddenly find a couple of thousand travelling fans, ie get about 50 buses waiting in the centre of Sneck with signs on the front saying courtesy bus to tesco.

Bestest wishes to everybody on here. Won't be struggling up to the Sneck today so make it 3 points for all of us keeping in touch by text at the dreaded family gatherings :014:
  21. Can't decide whether that's teriboll or oribell :001:
  22. Fecks sake clacher, no need to rewrite War and Peace, did you start your new year celebrations early :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: All I was saying is, I disagree with this bit: Unless it was chibber you wrote all that for of course :014:
  23. Feck me. Jabba sure is scary without his make up.
  24. The Mantis replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
    Only Smarties have the answer.
  25. I'll get in before Chibber comes back and rips me to shreds :015: :015: EDIT- too late :021: Stirling's a wee place. The ground's out at the Springkerse industrial estate, that's E of the centre, and just off the A91 which connects the M9 to Tillicoultry etc. It's easy from the south. From the north I would wager you're just as quick going through the centre and following the signs :023:
