  1. Maybe if Baltacha had stayed on it would have been Spineless Norman MacMillan.
  2. Feckin part timer.
  3. I suppose the theory is pretty sound, if not the practice. Pretty ironic you mention Hillsborough though, as it's pretty widespread opinion that Hillsborough would never have happened if it wasn't for the police.
  4. So how does this: Suddenly morph into this:
  5. Feck me, where do I start :017: :017: :017: :017: :017: The lack of smilies etc suggests you are actually serious.....
  6. I heard a certain Mr Mackenzie flying the flag for ICT on Radio Scotland 10 mins ago :021:
  7. Well I'm not trusting you for a start :001: I've lived in both East and West of Scotland and been watching football since that black year 1966 :019: Why don't you put some facts in to back up that statement?
  8. Charles Reep I think. Mind you your own study is less than statistically valid :015: :015: :015: :015: A sample size of only two games, one against the worst Rangers side in decades, the other against a team who, it appears, haven't lost for decades, don't give up the day job yet :004:
  9. St Mirren was Duncan's first game for ages. He was fine in the first half. Second half he was knackered. At least he had an excuse, unlike the rest of the side who failed to show up second half. Sure he could have been subbed but I can't see why you think Hart, an attacking right sided midfielder, can do the holding job that Russell does.
  10. I'm more interested in hearing what's odd about the 20 work colleagues
  11. What, Asterix the left-back Richard, never heard of him? Maybe we should just play your namesake as usual :001:
  12. Not so sure about radical overhauls. Hibs beat us 2-0 in between slaughtering Hearts and Motherwell, and we created chances- the game was wide open till the penalty, and Killen was offside anyway if you ask me. That result looks nae too bad with hindsight, Hibs are the form team at the mo. Never went yesterday, but Celtic are in a league of their own anyway. We're as good a bet for 2nd place as any of the others TBO. Agree that Roy needs a rest, but McSwegan, apart from his drive at Easter Road 5 secs after coming on, seemed to be wading through treacle, and had a bigger erse than Shug Robertson in his Viccy Park days. If people think his performance in the reserves was that good, fair enough. Try him in a home game, but not for away games. When all he gets is scraps, Bayne puts in the running, which sadly rules out Denzil too against the good sides away.
  13. Well one consolation, if they were completely cut off, they would never have heard of Pavlov's Dog. I go with the 2-3-5 BTW, it would take 100 years to get their attacking instincts bred out of them so it evolved into the crap ultra-cautious game we have now.
  14. Nah, they'll make history their own way....... .... by getting relegated :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:

I just love being pedantic. The last trophy to come north was on May 15 2004 Sandy, not 4-5 years ago but 2 1/2 :001:
  16. The fact it's feckin Clyde just about swings it I suppose.

Not sure how they would all know that though. It was the East stand all booing as if they were St Midden fans (well OK not quite)......

Hibs looked a quality side today and dominated most of the game. Not much penetration though and we probably created the better chances. I'm not usually one to moan about refs but I thought John Underhill was a homer. Either because he was swayed by the big home crowd or more likely because he had decided Hibs were the football team and we would get penalised every time we went near them. To be fair he let a few hefty challenges go early on with just a warning (eg Bayne), but Hibs seemed to get most of the 50-50 fouls. Hibs fans booing Rossco early on-what was that about?

I've always stuck up for Russeldinho in the past when people were giving him stick. He holds it all together and we're a much poorer and lightweight midfield when he's out. Glad Johndo's expert mate agrees.
  20. Cheers Yngwie. Saw it wasn't listed yesterday but tried it anyway this evening. Just have to suffer a night in the pub then.......
  21. You never know, they might end up against Peterheid in the playoffs....
  22. The bad news from our point of view is, he'll probably drop Malkowski after yesterday's display, and he's usually our 12th man :015:
  23. I'd probably be up for this if others were. Are you into setting up a PayPal scheme? I would have thought some of the guys on the prediction league would have been up for it?
  24. I could never be bothered with titsley but on Tues the other guy summarising (was it David Pleat?) was even worse.
