Stick to the facts, Gretna's only half the drive from Edinburgh that Inverness is, and that's not counting any bother crossing the FRB.
  2. Aye, Guy Kerr was the big lad, spoke to him.
  3. Too early to judge 10CC I'm afraid. Pele the best of the rest for me. We used to give teams a couple of goals of a start in those days. Then we'd spend the whole journey home just marvelling at what we'd just seen.
  4. Against St Mirren's 3-5-2 I was prepared for them to have a lot of the ball and that's how it proved. But when we had the ball, we just gave it right back. We only showed quality in flashes. First half was about right, but second half we were dreadful. My MoM was Granty who had an excellent game and handled Sutton well, but he must have lost him at the corner (it was away up the far end so it was hard to see). I don't think St Mirren can play much better than that but still they created very little. Our goal showed how we could knife them open but too many times the final ball was poor, and unforced errors at that- like Russeldinho fluffing an easy pass to Rossco overlapping in the second half in acres of room, or Dargo hanging on to the ball in the first half when he had Barry inside to pass to. We spent the entire second half punting it clear. The players had no composure and nobody would take a risk and pass it. Russell Duncan looked like it was the wrong day to give him a whole game back in the team, very rusty. St Mirren are probably the most physical team in the league and they and their fans were well up for it, a bit like us in our first season in the SPL. They make Love St quite an intimidating place, even with 4000 it was much worse than Ibrox the other week. Unfortunately we got dragged into the physical stuff and couldn't keep the ball on the deck, even though it looked like we could hurt them when we did get it down and play. The five bookings were mostly harsh I thought, and Mr Tumelty seemed to favour the home team, and took about 70 mins to book their player Brittain. He showed his inexperience and was influenced by the crowd. Rankin's was a cynical foul, but Bayne's and McBain's looked harsh, and Barry's seemed to be for dissent. Mind you it seemed to me that Rory nutted the boy and would be getting a red. And finally.... all credit to Ross who continues to play amidst a storm of abuse from the north bank, even after more than 7 years.
  5. We got him last April when Dargs scored against DUFC with the last kick. I remember it because, by an absolute fluke, I met the ref at a birthday party the same night. A young, up-and-coming ref I would say.
  6. Brew has to stay on till we visit them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Fabby day oot, fabby result, Ibrox today made Caley Stadium sound like a cauldron of passion :015: :015: :015: Le Guen has got problems though, and Brewster :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:
  9. Aye that Donnachie goal was the final straw for me. Umpteen years of travelling on the train to midweek games and getting back home at dark o'clock. I even put up with Roughie dropping it at Krankl's feet and many others :009:
  10. Aye but you don't count Uncle Gringo, you're one of us really.......
  11. Scotland on Sunday does a Q&A page in the sport section. Yesterday was Eddie Turnbull. Next week is............. Neil Lennon. Let's get some questions going! Address is [email protected] Mine is: "My question for Neil Lennon relates to a match at Pittodrie on 22/8/04: Did you feel sorry for Juanjo of ICT when he had the misfortune to be on the same pitch as you, just at the instant you were struck by a sniper's bullet?"
  12. I don't remember him being clapped much either :015: :015: :015: :015:
  13. 3 from Lothian & Borders crew.
  14. Aye, two late goals in both games too.
  15. Where's cantbeatanybody when you need him? :015: :015: :015: :015:
  16. Aye, feck all those that left early :015: :015: :015: Rossco went radio rental at the main stand at the goal. North Stand next time Ross!
  17. The big hairy-ersed yin has spotted it correctly. Keep the 4-4-2 but bring back the Dinho. Drop Rankin, he'll get a game anyway once Blackie gets a ban next week or the week after.
  18. Too many feckers posting on these threads who never see an away game. Too many of the same feckers who go to home games and sit on their hands waiting for something to happen. ICT is a club with very few resources whose rightful place logically should be div one. Every week these players punch above their weight. Inverness doesn't deserve the feckin miracle that is ICT.

Feckin midges are a nuisance. NO.
  20. I wish they'd got in ahead of C(o)unty. That would have made a real feckin derby
  21. I said it before too, CC is trying to play a bit more of the silky stuff and credit to him, as most folk down here (especially the Hibbies) think we're a stuffy side and not very easy on the eye. However I reckon Rankin could make way for Russeldinho, after all he'll only have a few weeks in the reserves till he gets a chance with Blackie suspended :015: I also think we've looked better this season after Richie Hart has come on, mind you I don't think he does so well if he's on at the start :007:
  22. I wasn't there- I'm probably limited to about 8 home games a year, but why didn't somebody turn round and tell him to shut the phuqup? They'd probably get a round of applause and a laugh from the silent majority and somebody might even start up with 'give me a Ceeee' :015:

I agree with the old git with the fat erse.
  24. I remember that first photie. It's after Barry scored at Falkirk in january when we cuffed them 4-1.

Come off it, Alex (aka Silver Fox) never said anything about your size :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:
