  1. And 9 shocks against higher league opponents in 14 years outside the top flight?
  2. ICT and the Scottish Cup ?❤️ ?❤️ ?❤️ I make that 12 Quarter Finals.
  3. Tha thu cac agus tha fios agad gu bheil thu
  4. I remember when I used to teach, you always got people asking "is this in the exam?" No? "Then why are we doing it?" You must have been one of them ? Every day is a school day. If you're not interested in the meaning of the place names all around you, and the history/culture of your country, I can't help you. It's a minor miracle that the language survives at all considering the efforts to stamp it out in the 18th century. Just as an aside, BBC Alba does a magnificent job on its other programmes, e.g. Eorpa and other documentaries. It shows what a small channel can do on what is probably a fraction of Gary Lineker's salary. We've been having a good laugh at the antics of Sweeney Ness on "Air an Lot" as we buy meat from him. Mind you I kind of agree about the stadium announcements being a bit gimmicky. If anything I suppose it will go a little way towards making our mark as a true Highland club which at the moment our neighbours are doing better.
  5. Except Mckay is playing in the Premiership this season. Last season is a more valid comparison. 20/34 = 0.59 sure as hell trumps 16/52 = 0.31 or 7/28 which is even worse.
  6. Looking forward to a cup tie now where Old King Coll will gift us a vital goal with one of his classic cockups.
  7. That’s why he was having a wee fumble at Morelos ?
  8. Fair comment, but had a glance at Wiki and Ryan has 10 caps compared to Tierney's 12. Also Tierney played 102 times for Celtic and Ryan only 48 (with 21 goals). But Ryan also has 108 premiership games between us and Aberdeen. Talk on here seems to have shifted to the January window, whereas I've been talking about season's end up till now.
  9. So if your figures are right the timothys only need about £5.4m to break even. Hope we tell them to do one.
  10. Got last week’s lotto numbers Jack my boy? ? ?
  11. Like you I was at all six, and also sitting in the company of the Stonehaven ICT has made a few disasters a bit more palatable. The absolute moment of the decade for me is Raven’s goal. It narrowly pipped Richie Foran’s last minute overhead kick... Watching the highlights, when the ball hits the net you can hear somebody yell “yes!” Possibly Shinnie or Raven or Christie, who knows, but the hairs on the back of the neck stick up every time.
  12. And it still fits you.
  13. Ignore him. Would you take the word of somebody who drinks Fosters? Just an Aberdonian getting his retaliation in first. The man who haggles with teenage programme sellers.
  14. Have to say, you’re wearing better than oor Yngwie ?
  15. *mes amis. (unless you're only addressing Yngwie, in which case it's mon ami, mon cher, mon étalon, etc )
  16. Leicester could be a good shout, especially if James Maddison moves on, and he's well known to Brendan Rodgers. I would agree he's more likely to take the Andy Robertson route than the Keiran Tierney. I don't agree with the McGinn comparison though. The Championship was a step up for him both in wages and standard after 100 games at Hibs. Christie is already, arguably, Celtic's best player, and has already got lots of big game experience in Europe and cup finals, and he's probably on wages comparable to what Championship clubs can offer.
  17. Had another look at the wonder boy last night at Tynecastle. Unless he’s desperate to stay at Celtic I can see him playing in the Premierleague as early as next season. Out of possession he bursts a gut to get the ball back, mainly against Hickey last night. In possession his ball skills and vision are tremendous. First half hour Hearts had Celtic penned in and any out balls were up the left with Hayes and Forrest. Virtually Ryan’s first involvement and - bang, 1-0.
  18. But The Mantis is a proven goalscorer at this level, with a wealth of experience and a winner’s medal. You have to question the commitment of flashy players like Naelifts - they come out of the woodwork on the big occasion, but they’re posted missing when the going gets tough. With one solitary appearance all season he must lack the sharpness to take on better sides than the Droners. Can he do it on a wet Tuesday night in Dumfries or will he once more be on the treatment table, or twanging his instrument?
  19. The team he scored against yesterday are not much better than Fort William.
  20. You could have spent the time drinking the 7.3% Kernel beer in Munros Bar then you wouldn't have noticed if it was a train or a spaceship.
  21. Thought we were far the better team overall but defensively poor at crucial times. Also we just don’t have a goalscorer. White had a poor game but didn’t have much to work with. Robbo could have made subs earlier. 3-1 was an absolute travesty, don’t think partick could have complained if it was 2-2. Looked like we were the home team with partick hitting on the break. Sair Yin.
  22. Nora’s curlers get my plums pumping every time.
  23. Just ask directions at Spoons. ?
  24. Switched to Peffermill 3G, 7.15 KO.
