  1. Ah cheers for that, I know Billy has a son Euan. I wasn’t sure so I asked a Buckie fan who said Sam was Billy’s lad. Not much of a likeness anyway.
  2. Went along to Bonnyrigg v Buckie last night which felt a bit like a Caley/ICT old boys reunion at times. Spider Stewart as manager, Sam Urquhart, son of The Legend, Sam Robertson, son of Wilsie, Lewis MacKinnon, now 34 and playing centre half, plus Kevin Fraser, Shaun Carroll, Andrew McAskill, Jai Cheyne, all associated with ICT if I’ve got this right.
  3. Were you not watching the Bonnyrigg game last night then ?
  4. That’s not a 91-92 top btw. It was used in 92-93 and 93-94. And obviously it wasn’t Caledonian Thistle either. Peter the Pedant ?
  5. Nowadays with burst mode you’d get a choice of shots as the ball made its way into the net. Back then you only got one go and there was a fair bit of shutter lag so you had to try and predict what would happen. I used to get shots for Bryan Munro to use in the programme from the away matches as nobody else did that. That came to an end once we made the big time and Peter Paul has long represented the club on the other side of the fence but I’ve been toying with the idea of taking a camera along to Alloa and Arbroath this season just for kicks and to see if I can get away with it.
  6. I believe this is what you are referring to ?
  7. Not relevant in the least but here’s one from Stornoway back in February
  8. Forgotten how to start videos at certain points. This one is at 51 secs
  9. Fine selection there. I was trying to add the one at Firhill on the way to the Scottish Cup but I’m on a very dodgy WiFi connection.
  10. Again, can only add my best wishes to Greg who, in a few short years at the club, made a massive contribution to ICT ‘s history. Won’t forget the famous penalty or being right behind that strike as it arrowed into the Hearts net at Easter Road.
  11. Aye at first. Went a fair bit out of curiosity like others in 94-5, hardly went in 95-6, but picked it up in 96-7. I remember a couple of things happened that 3rd season that turned me round. First one was the Forfar supporters giving Herchie abuse for being fat and me sticking up for him, then a few weeks later we went to Dingwall and beat County 3-1 and there were massive group hugs with the players, first Luggy at 2-1 then Stewarty at 3-1 ?
  12. I remember us beating Forfar 3-1 and going to the top after, I think, 5 games, although we fell away badly. Dick Campbell was all sour grapes, calling us a long ball team, even though we had Christie and Mitchell. I think he meant our secret weapon, Wilsie.
  13. Remember the game. Never seen the footage though.
  14. I was sitting with you. Struggling to remember what happened to mannie though. Was that the day he bought a round?
  15. Well well well? Is he keeping well? Thought I heard he had a few problems, must be a decent age now. I used to send him photos from the away games back in the lower leagues when the stewards didn’t bother you. He even interviewed me for the programme one week. Back in the days when I stood with Ken MacDonald on the west terracing and Lewis was still only about 6ft 5”.
  16. Try Bryan Munro who edited them. I've pm'd you the contact details I have, but I haven't spoken to Bryan in years. Maybe others can help.
  17. Evelyn at the club has emailed me a proxy form after I rang them. Happy to forward a form on to anybody who needs one. Just PM me.
  18. Just thinking that myself. Got home from Lewis late last night to find the letter. I’ve always used my proxy in the past but this is one I would have attended, but I’ll be on the high seas again and out of the country.
  19. Excellent stuff. Felt I was there after all ?
  20. We’ve nicked it. Inverness Caledonian Turpins
  21. “Calmac’s WiFi working” shocker. Enjoying episode 3 immensely. Moff the anchorman ? Ross, it was Wyness who scored the two late goals in 2000-1. Stewart was well away by this time. A happy car that night heading down the A9. Moff, Hissy swung on the bar at the away end after Barry Robson scored our second with about 3 minutes left. As one of the “Palmerston 28 or so” I was encouraging him to do it again the following Tuesday night. He did respond with a smile as he was unaware that his nickname “half man, half duck” about which he had been moaning to Scotty, had been started by me... Keep it up, guys ?
  22. Their skin is slightly more waterproof?
