  1. Sad to say not even Championship class ,really must be the best of a bad bunch to start every game.
  2. Club crest on his training top is different to the one he is holding up .... bit of an an identity crisis going on there. Time to consign this Pride of the Highlands badge nonsense to the dustbin it's just another terrible reminder of a truly terrible season. Should have been shown the door with ex-manager and ex Chairman.
  3. Have to agree here the competition has been devalued since we last won it , playing in front of 175 punters in Brechin against a team of youngsters does not inspire any one. Wouldn't be surprised if we lost money yesterday travel costs etc. Surely there must be more productive ways of utilising an International break than travelling to Brechin (again) to play against a youth team.
  4. Still lots to offer, not as if we have signed anybody better, Seedorf does not look like a fullback.
  5. Good on you, for taking the initiative and good luck.
  6. Happy with that, nothing against the guy but that will now leave the door open for one of our own young players to make the breakthrough, plus we do not tie up another wage.
  7. Not denying we are in transition, it happens every year but we still have 7 of the players who lined up for our last game of the season against Motherwell at the club. Other than Tansey and Draper( maybe pre-injury Meekings who have we lost than you could honestly say had an impact on the club and you are gutted they left? Ebbe, Anier, Cole, Horner, King the list is long ? With respect, the ones who have departed were mainly stopgaps and have been replaced with like for like.
  8. The basics of an experienced side are still in and around the club. Whether JR fancies them or not is debatable, but nonetheless they are still there, including both Tremarco and Doran who will be back for the remaining 7 months of the season.
  9. Massive difference to one or two playing in the first team alongside experienced players like Warren and Vigurs than playing U20 football in Arbroath. If things do not pick up soon JR might not have a choice, to take a chance on one of them..
  10. No, how can you possibly think scraping a home draw is acceptable and settle for mid table obscurity. We have been forced into making changes but the core of an experienced SPL side is still there OFW , Warren , Raven , Polworth , Vigurs , Tremarco, Mulraney etc . These guys have all played at the highest level, so with some astute additions and good management we should be aiming a lot higher than mid table.
  11. Would really like to see Mitchell Foy given an opportunity, started a couple of games pre-season and looked to be pretty quick and direct. Hopefully he will be given some real game time soon and not the last 5 minutes to run down the clock.
  12. The only positive about that was we managed to take a point , as the game went on we looked more and more lost and devoid of any attacking threat. Let's not kid ourselves that we are happy with a 1 each at home to Morton. Need vast improvement and quickly.
  13. In one picture we actually have 6 goalkeepers not including OFW.
  14. Will he get an opportunity or is he there just to make up the numbers on the bench.
  15. Still no sign of any of our young homegrown players making the breakthrough any time soon then.
  16. Sorry confused here, If the stands were built for a million as quoted at the time and we have been paying over £200 000 a year for over 12 years that is quite a financial commitment for the club to have to shoulder. No wonder finances have always been tight.
  17. Not only that we named the Stadium after him, only one winner there then.
  18. Absolutely the guy conveniently walked away leaving us where we are today, bottom of the league and skint. His appointment of the untried Foran on such a lucrative deal was absolute madness one which will be haunt us financially for a couple seasons to come, if all is to be believed.
  19. Absolutely, needs to justify his selection and prove to his many supporters that he has what it takes to succeed.
  20. How long do you suggest , bearing in mind this is the 6th competitive game of the season, plus the pre season friendlies. Sooner or later the lame excuses will have to stop and the management and players will have to take responsibility. Appreciate the league is only 2 games old but to be spanked by Dunfermline, bottom of the Championship and out of the League Cup before the start of August is totally unacceptable.
  21. Time for Liam Polworth to step up and prove he has got what it takes. He has been patient playing out wide but hopefully now he will given the opportunity to dictate the game from a central position. The dynamics of the team will change dramatically with no Tansey & Draper , so lets hope for a more slicker midfield and a few more goals from the midfield area.
  22. Appreciate the income from home gates has been not great over the years, but its been on a par with St J , Partick Ross C and better than Hamilton. All these clubs seem to be in much better financial shape than us so why is that? The extra revenue through our cup runs, top four finishes etc has slipped through our fingers some how and now we are at rock bottom, trying to haggle (and failing miserably) with Buckie Thistle. We haven't paid a transfer fee in years and have shopped at the arse end of English football while making absolutely nil investment in the stadium other when forced to by the SPL. What the feck has gone so badly wrong.
  23. Fantastic post Absolutely bang on. Highlights everything that is wrong with the club. They(Boardroom) think that can just throw open the gates every second Saturday and supporters will turn up regardless of how sh*te the facilities are. Think they could be sadly disappointed with probably our biggest attendance already achieved for the season thanks to the travelling DUFC supporters. Witnessed a spectacular mismanagement of the club at board level over the last couple of years with absolutely no investment from our finest years of top six finishes and cup finals. Cannot believe anything we made from selling the likes of Ryan Christie, Billy McKay Butcher going Hibs etc has all gone with nothing to show for it.
  24. The club is an absolute basket case at the moment, the spat with Buckie seen us sink to an all time low.
  25. Ach well if its true look on the bright side, at least we have appointed a much needed Chief Operating Office. Who needs a strong presence in the centre of midfield when you can have a shiny new Chief Operating Officer in the boardroom.
