Derek Adams still greetin
His column in todays Press and Journal is well worth a read. Purely for its comedy value. The man just cannot accept a defeat. Your team can create as many chances as they want, if they don't go in the back of the net then it means diddly squat. Talk about having a persecution complex!! The whole article reeks of a bitter bitter man who needs to learn some humility. He talks about wiping smirks of faces in the next derby and how he didn't like seeing ICT staff and fans celebrating the win, time to grow up I think.

Nick Ross & Philip Roberts deals
Great news about Ross and Roberts hopefully we get Draper signed up on a longer deal too. Very surprised that we haven't seen his name mentioned as a player we are talking to about a new deal. Been a very impressive signing IMO and is a vital part of our recent success

Can We Win The League?
Can we? Yes Will we? No I'm all for optimism but we have to temper that with a good dose of realism Much better to take it game by game rather than counting chickens IMO

Team for Coun*y
I agree but who do you drop? The first person I thought who could be dropped was Roberts which would mean Jones and Draper in the middle with Foran out wide left however Foran is completely wasted in that position nowadays and was very ineffective in that role against Motherwell. Ideally i would like Draper and Foran in the centre of midfield but Jones has done nothing to warrant being dropped. Given that Draper has only just returned from injury then i'd expect Butcher to keep the same line-up as last night.

team for aberdeen
injury update from the BBC about tonight's game: Would be great to see Draper back in the team. Great to hear Nick Ross and Simon King are returning as well although at present i can see how King would get into the team. Hearing that Hogg is close to return to full training which is fantastic news. Interesting to ponder what our absolute first choice centre half pairing would be if all our defenders were fit. Hogg and Warren perhaps? Really tough as Meekings has being doing very well and really growing into the role

Draper still not fit, will be a big miss today. We have really missed him since he has been out

Billy McKay
From the official FA page: Northern Ireland: Carroll, Hughes, Baird, McAuley, Cathcart, Ferguson, D. Lafferty, Davis, McGinn, Shiels, K. Lafferty subs Healy (replaced Cathcart 82), Brunt (replaced McGinn 67), Mannus (not used), Evans (not used), McCourt (replaced Shiels 55), Norwood (not used), Grigg (not used), McGovern (not used) Doesnt look like he got on the bench but fair play on getting in the squad

New deals offered
When is Draper out of contract? IMO he has been just as impressive as Meekings and the Shinnies

Next Scotland Manager
More club experience there tha Andy Roxburgh had when he was appointed! Agreed but Andy Roxburgh was appointed 26 years ago to the Scotland job, IMHO credentials for getting a job in international management have changed since then I would certainly hope that our next international manager has a history of dealing with top class players so that a) he knows how to coach them to get them best out of them and b) he can handle their egos!

Next Scotland Manager
Billy Starks CV looks like this: assistant manager at Celtic, manager at Greenock Morton, manager at St Johnstone, manager at Queens Park manager at youth/U21 level for Scotland No where near enough top level management in there for him to be a serious contender IMO

Inverness stadium bar may open to away fans
Why is it in Inverness it always seems one step forward, two steps back Dont think the lifting of the curfew will be as straight forward as the Council lifting their rules. I would guess that any pub owner setting their own curfew would do so with a high risk that their customers would not be best impressed. Best way to change the minds of those owners who choose to use their own curfew is to vote with your feet. If a pub/club owner is imposing his/her own curfew then i'm sure there will be plenty pubs and clubs that wont that would be happy of the custom

Next Scotland Manager
I see Co Adriaanse is being linked in the papers today, more than likely just idle speculation seeing as he is over in Scotland for a coaching seminar set up by his pal and SFA performance director Mark Wotte. Certainly a good manager in club football but very limited in international experience. Also has a bit of a reputation for unusual training methods. That said he is known for getting results from mediocre groups of players and prefers attacking football. Interesting name to be linked with, if they are considering a manager like this then id be surprised
