From the SPL Rules and Regulations: :(
  2. ha ha, they must have seen his potential too :(
  3. Personally im not one for wearing football tops a lot, i wear them for playing indoor fives and out in the garden etc however i havent had a Caley Thistle top in a few years. Partly to do with the fact the last home strip was ok-ish and partly because of the issues raised by Harry Chibber. I would be a lot more inclined to buy a home top if it was a) available when i get my season ticket and b ) made by a brand that inspired me

full story here Personally i'd be delighted to see Esson sign a new contract but if he doesnt i think Tuffey would make a good replacement. We still need a number 2 as well!
  5. getting my games mixed up like RossP by the looks of it anyways, it was still a great performance whatever game it was
  6. I completely agree. He was outstanding that game and what makes it more remarkable was that he had come in from the cold having seen very little first team action at all. I still think mcBain offers a lot to the team, it may not be that he starts every game but it is essential that we have players available that can come in and do a good job on short notice. McBain fits that bill prefectly. Glad to see him extend his contract

is that old skool astroturf or the modern fieldturf? the latter is approved by FIFA and UEFA competitions

plenty of other stadiums seem to manage with more than one team playing on it. I agree three is a bit much but two could work. Why no for an all weather pitch? seems like a great idea to have. All weather pitches are fine for the SFL (as far as i remember) and lower leagues, so no reason why they couldnt be used for Clach and Inverness city if needed. I like the idea of a community stadium. Brings the city together and as mentioned provides a focal point for football in the city.
  9. im pretty sure this year there is an interest charge on spreading payments. there is no requirement for a deposit however great pricing structure otherwise though
  10. Favourite: Caley Thistle Champions ooohh wooo oohh wooo ooooh wooo ooohh Caley Thistle Champions ooohh wooo oohh wooo ooooh wooo ooohh Cringeworthy: Caley - Clap clap clap or Give me a C, Give me and A.......and so on
  11. While i always thought he did alright for us there were times when i though he should have done better. I agree that we should aspire to do better. I have faith that Terry will have a few gems of players identified
  12. ha ha, should have said: "ICT (your SPL neighbours) wishes you a fun dayout"

Always seemed a decent player when i saw him play for Falkirk. Think he would fit well into our system sitting off Rooney. As mentioned earlier, Sanchez and Odhiambo have both played in that role so whether butcher thinks we need another player like that is doubtful
  14. According to the press, Dungdee and Aberdeen are sniffing about Gary Irvine
  15. i certainly agree we need a new left back but Hastings is 32 and i'd prefer to see us go for a younger player to freshen the squad
  16. absolutely! wonder if celtic are glad they got rid of chesney or if aberdeen are happy they got rid of tangoman?
  17. very suprised about the parting of ways. Dont know who St Mirren are gonna get that can do better than McPherson to be honest. I reckon Brewster would do a cracking job for them
  18. Great news securing a new sponsor and great to see that as well as a base amount of sponsorship we can gain more money by performing well in the league and cup. Hopefully this will act as a strong motivational tool
  19. and speculate about signing enlgish premiership players?
  20. Aberdeen at home. 3-0 walk in the park. Rooney, Hayes and Foran all to score 1. Jobs a good un
  21. Cheerio falkirk
  22. There's already a keeper at U19, Murray Kinnaird, who has been training with the 1st team keepers this season. He's been signed for next year in the U19. I suspect one of the U17 keepers will be stepping up to U19 as well. My mistake, I didn't realise we still ha a young keeper on the books. That's good news. Just one keeper to buy then
  23. ha ha, good point i would say they definately have the better players, just whether they can perform on the day
  24. I hope so, they beat us in each competition in our last SPL season and if Killie go down I think it could literally put them out of business. It really doesnt look good for Killie if they go down. Think Falkirk have been the worst team over the past two seasons and deserve a drop down to the first Excerpt from a BBC article (here)about killie: doesnt look good
