Well its the last day of the SPL season today and in very similar circumstances to last year Falkirk have found themselves needing to win on the last day to stay in the league Whats the predictions on the game. Killie or Falkirk to go down? I reckon Falkirk will go down personally

I remember an absolutely stunning one handed save from Fraser in a SPL game against Celtic up here, absolutely cracking save. Shot stopping was usually ok. Distribution not the best (seem to remember enormous punts up the field) and often caused heart in mouth moments by taking on attackers with the ball.

Interesting line up there, chances of any of those in bold font coming?

Thats got to be the absolute minimum target for next season. I reckon somewhere about 8th/9th. Really want a cup run next year

both of these players have played in the premiership and would be way above our budget same with the Graham Alexander 'rumour' I think any club in the SPL barring the old firm would struggle financially to entice premiership players North given the wage budgets of SPL clubs compared to premiership/championship.

Assuming the players offered contracts all sign then i would think we would need: GK 1 x back up keeper 1 x young keeper to play in the U19 league and provide cover DEF 1 x Left Back 2 x Centre Half MID 1 x Attacking midfielder STR 1 x Striker as cover for Rooney Defence is a priority IMO

absolutely deserved award for Hayes. Cracking player who has been on great form over the last few months. Still absolutely delighted that he's signed on for the next 2 years.

I expected 4 of those players to be released but i was suprised to see Bully and Duff released. Bully was a bit rough around the edges but had the makings of a good player. Anytime i saw Duff play i always thought he had the makings of a very good player. Very unfortunate injury and one which i hope he recovers from. thats great to see TB and the club are helping in his rehabilitation.

Think its pretty clear that the split isnt particularly welcome. Not suprised to see folk favouring an expanded league. Interesting to see that the three governing bodies are deemed too much

Following on from the other thread where the 14 team SPL has been sounded out. There is support for and against a 14 team league however there are varying views on whether this is the best way forward. Going into more detail, if the 14 team top league isnt what the fans want then what are the most popular alternatives?

Spot on. All the split does is put a barrier up to prevent mid table clubs on the lower side of the split from striving to reach European spots/a higher placing and more money while also giving a safety net to mid table clubs on the top side of the split. Surely this doesnt assist fair competition? Out of interest does anyone know of another league where a split is used?

I would too, do you think it'll ever be adopted though? Unfortunately i think the current mid-lower table clubs would never vote for it.
