Where have performances like that been for the last few months? Excellent! Mulraney, Cole, Polworth looked changed players. Thought Raven was immense considering he had to switch to LB (hope Tremarco's injury isn't serious). But the whole team deserve plaudits for a great result.- 94 replies

Fair do's, I've sensationalised that a wee bit! Sadly though, I've lost all confidence and belief I had in Richie at the start of the season.- 166 replies

We all know this group of players are capable of so much more than they've shown in the last 4 months. The problem is obviously the management. Foran should do the decent thing and resign. There's no way the club can afford to sack him when he's on a four year contract !- 166 replies

Thistle Soccer Trendies v Caley Soccer Casuals!! Was always a non-event with a police presence at these games. One and only time I've been frisked by the police upon entering a football ground was for a Jags v Caley derby at Kingsmills in the early 90's, purely because I was dressed in baggy flared jeans and a hooded top lol ! :-SS Copper felt my wallet in my pocket and asked "What's that?".... Don't know what sort of offensive weapon he thought it might be but I replied anyway - "it's a wallet, officer!" ???!!!
-
IIRC that was my first away day as a very young jaggie. I do remember standing behind the goals at the east end of the ground and being somewhat bemused by the seemingly constant procession of fans from the north enclosure being 'escorted' around the touchline in front us and out the ground by the local constabulary. I think I also recall Roshie Fraser scored a 25/35/45 yarder in the 5-0 rout?

I'm under the impression that the Trust was set up to assist the club and not for any financial gain. As such it would surely not stand (pardon the pun) in the way of any transfer of the lease that would ultimately benefit the club?
-
Dream would be that this clears the way for the lease to be transferred to a big brand firm looking to get a foothold in Inverness in return for a new purpose built stadium elsewhere in town! Sainsbury do you fancy a project?

The best refereeing performances I've ever witnessed at TCS were those of the foreign referees brought in to cover the on-strike home officials! Do the referees have some kind of vendetta against ICT? Maybe the club makes them pay for their halftime pie or something?- 62 replies

Think Tansey answered a few critics today without even playing. We pretty much bypassed our midfield today constantly lofting long balls towards Doumbouya. Reason being we missed Tansey's composure in the middle of the park and his ability to pick a pass?

What a pleasant Friday evening enjoying the presence of the visiting rangers fans. How I've missed their unique brand of religious bigotry and hatred! Though quite how they managed to fit through the turnstiles with the massive chips on their shoulders is anybody's guess? Special mention also to the authorities who continue to turn a deaf ear to the spouted bile. Anyway, to the match itself, commenced after a minute silence impeccably and respectfully observed by every Inverness fan for the passing of rangers fan ryan baird, and after a good first 10-15 minutes when we should have scored we fell out of the game and rangers bossed us for the remainder of the first half and deservedly went in at HT 1-0 up. Second half saw an improved Inverness performance, especially after our double substitution, and we were unfortunate not to level the match. We had just one corner in the whole game but had we had more I'm sure we'd have scored one goal at least against a fairly average rangers defence. Ultimately a disappointing night but not disastrous, and results today went in our favour too ;-) -
Adding 2 + 2 together and making 5 maybe but I see Balatoni has left Killie, could he be a possible signing target or is Brad Mackay a done deal? Also reading this guy is being made available for loan. A bit injury prone but could be worth a punt?? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37218234

RF on radio today saying he expects 2 or 3 players to sign this week!

My first sight of ict under new management today and have to say I was a bit shocked at how poor we were. Thought the game was crying out for Richie foran.... the player! Was it a mistake for him to retire? His influence on the pitch was missing. And what exactly is Rice's roll now? Last season he was the one shouting instructions from the technical area but today seemed to take very much a back seat. Is it the case that he's only present because the club cannot afford his severance package? As for the game itself; - it was very noticeable to me how often we were easily out -muscled on the ball by the Dingwall players - Fon Williams had his poorest game for us. He's got to command his area more - Draper was easily our best (only) player - Liked the trickery and pace of mulraney when he came on - Good to see doran back - Very poor crowd, both home and away - the referee.....Totally inept If we're going to continue playing the direct style of football seen today then I think we should be playing 2 up front. On today's evidence I am very worried for this season. Please ict make me eat my words!!!- 80 replies

Great to see the stripes back (and front!). Agree with others that the white collar looks a bit naff. Maybe a black collar would've looked better?....... Is there any black in the strip at all? Have to say though that quality of the carbrini strips makes errea look like world leaders. My youngest has had the away strip since xmas and already all the sponsor lettering on the shorts and all the small lettering on the shirt have come off. At least with errea the sponsors livery was dyed in to the fabric so this couldn't happen. With two kids to kit out and strips being released every season we'll be giving this season's a miss I think, unfortunately, due to the expense and (poor) quality.
-
Meh. It'll be 'predominantly blue' anyway ffs !
-
Dumbfounded! We have just 8 players contracted for next season (and even one of those is suggesting he may have to leave!) yet we're not offering a contract to a proven defender that has publicly stated he wants to stay !

Woaft !! That's a pretty stinging criticism of the manager from the chairman, along with delivering a demanding expectation of no worse than a 7th place finish this season and top six next! Awaiting developments.

Disagree.... The atmosphere was great when dave rave appeared in front of the north stand for his warm up! Tonight has totally reaffirmed my belief that josh is not a right back. Get him back alongside warren, get raven back in his rightful place and with Tremarco at left back, who's been improving week on week, we have one of the best back fours in the country and a solid foundation to build from for next season.
