Dundee Utd -V- Inverness CT
Inverness CT manager John Robertson: "We need to mark Shankland in the box, it's as simple as that. That's why United will win the league - they're more clinical than us and everyone else. "We're too nice. We react to things, we don't anticipate. It's difficult to criticise effort and honesty, but to be a top player, you need to have that extra quality, desire, and that bit more know-how. "We've got masses still to play for. We should, in my eyes, pretty clear in second place. This is the frustration - we've dropped too many silly points and haven't been clinical and ruthless enough." Sums up the story of the last few seasons imho. Well said JR 👏

Inverness CT -V- Alloa
The most flat atmosphere I can ever recall at home. No wonder.... same old predictable, boring, slow-build-up play! Are players allowed to use their imagination anymore, or is that frowned upon by the coaching staff? Football should be entertaining. Feels like a chore to sit through 90minutes these days!

Inverness CT -V- Alloa
Given results elsewhere it was another missed opportunity today. Very similar performance to that of the home game against Partick Thistle. Passing was always sideways and backwards. Just before the Alloa first goal we were in an attacking position by the corner flag yet proceeded to pass the ball all the way back to Ridgers, then kicked the ball long, lost possession, Alloa went up the park and scored! Second half we somehow managed to get ourselves in front (thanks for the Tremarco wonder strike), and then throw away two points by non existent defending at a long throw!! Yes mccart made the wrong decision in not passing the ball to Ridgers but we simply did not defend the throw. In truth though, on that performance, we did not deserve to win the game. It's been suggested above that we should try storey up front instead of playing him wide. His strength is his pace running onto through balls, but we just don't make any through passes that he could run onto! I hope that might change now with Keatings back from injury? Bit disappointed personally to hear the announcer call a substitution for "caley" second half. 25 years celebrations indeed!!! ?

ICT - Partick Thistle (H), Sat 28th Sept
The other thistle played a game in midweek yet to a man showed more energy and desire than any ICT player! Got exactly what we deserved today. ?

Inverness CT -V- Morton
Thought it was quite a scrappy first half, until Rooney made a run from virtually his own corner flag all the way to Morton's penalty spot . It seemed to change the game and we scored shortly after. Second half we got a perfect start and never looked back. Can't remember the last time we won 5-0 at home in the league. Tremendous result!

John Beaton
Sad news indeed! He was captain of the 10th BB when I was there, affectionately referred to as 'JB' or 'Jelly Belly'. An influence and guidance on so many lives. A genuine, and funny, guy who will be missed.

New Kit
Very well put!

New Kit
I disagree. The home kit, in particular, is the recognised identity of the club. We've had red and blue stripes in the past and which was universally acceptable to all fans of the club and a unique within scottish football. Why the sudden change back to all blue?
-
New Kit
You've said above that you have no affinity to either founder club so I wouldn't expect you to understand how strongly I feel about it.
-
New Kit
Surely that's the point! The club are making an attempt to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the formation of ICT, yet they release an effectively all-blue home kit and all-white third kit. Hardly seems to me to be a recognition of the merging of two separate clubs to form the current club? Yes it has been 25 years and yet here we are still facing the same issues 25 years later!
-
New Kit
Shocked but not surprised by it! The club has reached a milestone of 25 years since formation (remember when TWO teams went through what was quite a painful process to MERGE?) yet the two strips it releases for the anniversary predominantly only represent the colours of ONE of those teams? Quite sad that 25 years on we still have such issues at the club! ?⚫?⚪

Dundee Utd -V- Inverness CT (playoff leg 2)
4-0 over two legs tells its own story! Nothing to do with refereeing decisions or bad luck.......it's the story of our season, missed chances have cost us big time. Until we change that we will be stuck in this division. Good luck in the playoff final, Arabs. Expecting a bit of an exodus of players over the next few days now. ?

Inverness CT -V- Ayr United
Really looked like we were playing within ourselves today, likely with Tuesday in mind? Maybe that was the tactics or are the players just exhausted? Was an anxious spectacle for us fans and might have been very worrying had Ayr got a second goal before we got ours! Still we're through and that's what counts. Impressed by MacDonald when he came on. Would be great to get him back in on loan again next season.

In Their Shadow
Let's face it the Roy McGregor era we're currently in is county's golden age! Once it's over it's unlikely they'll find another figure so willing to throw money at the club the way he's done and they'll revert to being a peripheral club similar to Elgin or Petterhead (albeit with the benefit of having a derby with their larger local rival 20minutes away ......Inverness CT). We, on the other hand, are at one of our lower ebbs in our short but very successful history. We will always be the bigger club, just not always the best run! Just wait around for a while......we'll be back!

Polworth to Motherwell
Best wishes Liam. ICT since age 8, most assists in the division, .......and will likely still be a target for the boo boys come Saturday!

Hearts -V- Inverness CT
Felt it was a bit of a reality check today. We didn't play badly but we didn't play well, other than the first 10minutes of the match and for 10minutes after the first goal. We're currently a second flight side and it showed at times. That said, if Chalmers free kick goes in and McCart's 'goal' is allowed, it could've been a whole different story? And who knows if it would've been a different game if we had Donaldson and Welsh available? I'm not overly disappointed at the outcome. Reaching the semi-final was a bit of a bonus this season and we still have a play-off place to aim for. So looking at the bigger picture I think we've actually done well. Saddest thing for me about today was when I read that our former player who scored that legendary goal to get us to the 2015 Scottish cup final didn't even receive a winner's medal! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47861664

Inverness CT -V- Ross County
I don't believe I've ever witnessed such an inept refereeing performance at any level ever before! It really was a farce. The only tiny mitigating factor might be the fact that the standside linesman was absolutely no help to the ref whatsoever ? What had been an entertaining game up to the break fell completely flat after it because of the red card 'decision', which should never have been because of the foul that was ignored by the ref just seconds before. Quite unbelievable !

CEO Stands Down
I have no idea what goes on behind the boardroom doors at the club, but it seems to me that these battles have been ongoing for nearly two decades!! What's the reason? Is it purely egocentricity? If so, then that's a pretty pathetic way to behave. This club does not belong to one person nor to one clique! You'd think that after 25 years the club would by now have found a settled method of being run in a sensible, mature way!
