Werent the Caterers trying to tell us the pies were national award winning paes? Having sampled them, i find it rather difficult to believe.

As far as im aware....we are still with the same catering company....which means unless they have changed suppliers, it will be the same fare on offer again...at probably much inflated prices. Never quite understood why an SPL pie should cost more than an SFL pie...but there you have it.
  5. I wouldn't say Portugal was a " lesser football nation " and by finishing runners up ahead of Porto , Sporting etc I'd hardly class Braga as " minor " . Hardly a european football force either tho are they!
  6. Where can Scottish footie go from here? Teams getting p!ssed all over, by minor european teams. Why is it we never progress, yet other "lesser football nations" come on leaps and bounds. I cant help but think we need to go and look at how its done in other countries and adopt these methods....rather than plodding on with the same failing system

Fixed it for ya Renegade (no need to thank me :P)
  8. Yes but brothels are a bit different. I had forgotten you were one of my best customers....so i deleted that part of my post to try and protect you Yngwie....the cat is well and truly out of the bag now!
  9. Premier League on the pitch.....Amateur League off it! Several times i have contacted the stadium for this that or the other....and to say the way i was handled was shoddy and unprofessional to say the least.
  10. Totally agree...... siging up Lennon was just the cheap option or extreme naivety, either way...i think its going to set them back even further. I really fancy our chances on 14th aug!!
  11. Big bag o sweets and a hooter to blow on Am not sure he will be that easily bribed..even if i take his fave toy....a coathanger :P...i will phone him and ask him if he wants to go. He will probably say yes...without thinking it thro. My other son has sed he wants to go to a game with me.
  12. Yay....kids go free....i might take my kids to this game to see how they enjoy it. My only fear is my youngest will get bored early doors and wanna go home....that is a very real posibility.
  13. I suspect you will be proven to be right about the above.....especially the Sanchez and Eric part!

  15. This guy takes a mean penalty (scroll down and press play) http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/world-of-sport/article/19275/
  16. I wonder if this is a caculated move by sky, to shift games from Sky Sports 1 & 2 to **** BT off? Sky were not very happy about having been told they had to let other companies air their channels. Be intresting to see how many other games go the same way.
  17. And playing HORRIBLY too it has to be sed!
  18. Tch....im not keeking ma breeks here. Its only a meaningless pre season friendly. Had it been a meaningful game.....i would be a bit concerend!
  19. I got my wee ones staying....so guess it will have to be the radio for me :(
  20. I am confident for the forth coming season. I am confident my realistic goal will be acheived, and that goal is to finnish at worst 11th place. Anything above that will be excellent in my book.
  21. ^Yeah...dont get me wrong...I am not Naive enough to think that the long ball doenst have a part to play in the game....just....ffs...please...mix it up a lil. You watch ALL the top Premiership sides, a lot of their game is about ball being played to feet and the passing game.
  22. I thought i had read that he was only released by Liverpool in May this year?
  23. If ICT once again go a Brewster-esque mentality of punting it up the park at every opportunity next season, it'll be a season to forget. It's interesting to note that when ICT play a more attacking, passing based style of play they have more success. It's no coincidence that managers like Paterson and Robertson were successful ICT managers, while more defensive minded managers like Baltacha and Brewster were not. If you were make a table of the best ICT managers first to last, it's likely to show what is almost a scale of the attackingness of ICT at that time. It's also interesting to note that ICT began having more success under Terry Butcher, when he decided to take a more offensive approach. Some teams, such as Egil Olsen's Norway and Tony Pulis's Stoke have had a degree of success when taking a more direct and defensive apporach using the players at their disposal. ICT are not on of the those. It is a fact that when ICT play, to a certain degree, an more attack minded, passing based system, the club has more success. I for on believe that a major factor in ICT's 2008/09 relegation was down to Craig Brewster obsession with the long ball garbage we were subjected to, that was not just boring for the supporters to watch, but completely ineffective most of the time, in the process taking talented ball playing midfielders like Ian Black out of the game. It's not football, Brewster mentality of rather not conceding a goal, than scoring, in my opinion cost ICT. Take a mentality like that next season, and it might not be such a happy time in the SPL for Caley Thistle. Well Said Renegade!
  24. If it gets results I don't see why not. Yes I'd love to see us pass the ball like Arsenal or Spain but we've a limited pool of talent. So when in doubt, HOOF it..... See...this is where i disagree.....ad rather play nice footie, be entertained and take beatings, than win ugly. And presumably accept relegation along with it? Dont get me wrong....i want sucsess too....but....for me...firstly...i go to footie to be entertained. Sucsess is a bonus. Im a realist and i would be happy with anything other than finishing 12th this coming season. Being in the SPL has to be the goal for us now. If we can acheive that whilst playing decent footie too...al be a very happy man. No pie in the sky here!!
