  1. Okay a couple of points. Firstly I rate Proc as a player and a true professional. He has a very mature attitude for such a young guy. He always makes time to stop and chat if you see him out and about. He has been very unlucky in an ICT shirt as every time it looks like he has a chance to break into the team something happens. Dislocated his shoulder just as he was getting a bit more 1st team action and more recently the fact that Rossco recovered so quickly from his pre season injury. He is desperate to play football and we have to accept that. Coming from Edinburgh this will take him closer to home. As for the chairman's statement - read this bit carefully:: "For avoidance of all doubt, and to make any future media leaks futile, we will not be doing transfer business with Dundee United in relation to players who are important to our manager's plans. End of story." As we have quite a bit of cover in his position we can probably afford to let him go. I just hope we don't live to regret this decision. He is a quality player who can play in a number of positions. My only real worry about this is that he is going to go to a club that may be bigger in a lot of ways, but they are struggling on the park. He will either help them turn around their current form or alternatively their dire track record continues and he is brought down to their level. At the end of the day Proc wants to play football, so I thank him for his time with us (especially for the goal against the Hibbees) and wish him all the very best for the future. That's if a fee is agreed next week, which looks likely. Good luck Proc.

CHARLIE THINKS OTHERWISE If he wants to go then let him, but not to Utd please.
  4. Welcome from me too. Nice to have you on board. I believe Maimie has some contact numbers for ICT fans based in Ireland. If she doesn't see this thread try sending her a PM.

I rate him as a player, but if he doesn't want to be here we should cash in. The only thing is I would like him to go anywhere except Dundee Utd. If anyone else comes in for him then we should listen to what they are offering.
  6. No can do I'm afraid

    Golly

The most sensible post on this thread. Well said FW. :clapping04: :clapping04: When are you coming to join us for pre match drinkies in the Innes???

    Golly

We all know that Golly has the ability to play at this level, and we also all agree that he has struggled to find his form since he was injured last season. I thought yesterday there was a nervousness about his game. I think he just needs a bit of confidence, which will come after a couple of improved performances. It must be difficult to pick yourself up after a long absence. Also can't agree that Russell Duncan didn't have a good game. I thought he played really well yesterday. Russell always puts his heart and soul into every game. Some passes may go astray, but remember they were most often cleared from defence. So if you look it as a good clearance rather than a bad pass then you might appreciate him a bit more. I know for a fact that the players really appreciate the effort he puts in.
  9. The idea behind this is that the genuine fans can get tickets, so you must know a season ticket holder who can get a ticket for you if you want one. I would offer, but I'm away now until Friday afternoon so wouldn't make it down til Monday. I'm sure it won't be a problem if you want one.
  10. Has to be the Rahja in Post Office Lane. It's fab. The powers that be must have heard that Gringo was coming and as snow is unlikely to call the game off they burned down his fav eating place. :015: :015: :015: So yes once again it's all Gringo's fault. :001: Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday and hopefully see you in a few weeks Scotty.
  11. David Sutherland is not a man to be crossed. :015: :015: Always speak well and very 'to the point'. Well said.
  12. That's why I put the appeal on for Central Belters. Where are the Coia Caley Crew when you need them. Riley or Joe??? Yompa or ITN Jnr??? Who have I missed, surely one of them must have a few hours to spare.
  13. Come on all you Central belt ICT fans. This is being shot in Glasgow TOMORROW. Any of you available throughout the day tomorrow. Fee now £150 plus expenses. PM me if you want the office details or contact James on the above number. I am going to be in Glasgow tomorrow but I have an important appointment at IKEA that I must keep at all costs. Then going to see Billy Joel at night.
  14. Welcome back. We have missed you and the dead pool died without you.
  15. approx 2,500 I read in the match reports
  16. I am sure this year we are allowed to buy 4 additional tickets for the Celtic game. I haven't taken any extra ones though.
  17. Correct. But the bar was closed anyway. :001:
  18. Yes I'll be there in my usual spot. Can't wait. Hope we really give them a doing. :001:
  19. I wonder what he's going to do with that house he just bought in Dundee. :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:
  20. A good time was had by all as usual. Thanks to everyone who organised it. Unfortunately it didn't quite have the same buzz as actually being at the end of season. The players didn't hang about for long but some of them were travelling down the road tonight, and they are in preparation for the new season rather than celebrating the end of then last one. One or two didn't make it at all, but full marks for Rossco who arrived a bit later but stayed til the end.
  21. I am pleased to inform you that not all the tickets have been sold, so the remaining tickets will be on sale at the door tonight. £5 7.30pm at The Stadium - Okay so now you know where it is I'll have to shoot you. :shooting04: :shooting04: :shooting04: Usually a good night
  22. Dargo was in the stand

    Craig Dargo

Aparently he is carrying a bit of a knock and doesn't want to risk being injured for next week. He should be fit for next Saturday
  24. :015: :015: :015: Tried to find some info on his new club last night. They are a 2nd division team, but it looks like they are newly promoted from the 3rd, so not much info until the season starts as far as I could see. Sounds like a good outing for HMS Sneck. :drinking03:
