A 'proper' shop was what I meant Scotty. I never meant to suggest we didn't sell merchandise in the lower divisions.

There was stock sold from within the stadium. We had an even smaller portakabin on matchdays which did a roaring trade, but we didn't have a full time shop as we do now.

Buying stock costs money and carries a risk that it doesn't sell. I do agree that the shop has often been understocked, but I don't think this is the time we will see an improvement in variety. More likely the reverse. We didn't even have a shop when we were in the 1st division before. I hope that isn't going to be the case this time as it provides a valuable income stream, but it will have to prove vialbe.
  4. Seems okay to me Children under 8 free with an adult is a good idea I'll save a small fortune
  5. I can't believe I'm even adding to this nonsense of a thread. I know both Craig Brewster and Malky Thomson and they are both really nice guys. Let me assure you that no one would have been happier than me for these guys to be a huge success. Unfortunately there seemed to be some rifts behind the scenes which I don't think could be healed. The players stopped playing and the heart and soul was being ripped out of our club. Terry Butcher has lifted the spirits and seems to have given the team a new lease of life. The same players all of a sudden seemed to believe in themselves. So I'm sorry that CB and MT didn't do well, but we have to put personal feelings aside and think about what was best for ICT. I think that TB and MM will have the contacts in the game to bring in some players which will allow us to put in a decent challenge on the 1st division.
  6. Maybe it is though I thought that was Charlestown. I thought Charleston was where the academy is. I may well be wrong and people from over the bridge are also welcome to purchase season tickets. It could he charlestown Alex just when i heard someone talking about charleston i thought of North Kessock Sooooo Off Topic, but just to clear this up. Charleston Academy is in Kinmylies and there is also a place called Charleston (same spelling) at North Kessock. Anyway - back to season tickets please

I will take 2 again one for each of my 2 darlings Lynn & Alan Grant. I assume that the player sponsorship will also be less this year, but it would be a nice problem to have too much money. :-)

Does anyone know the price of this!? Again I'm sure this is one of the things that will be under discussion at the moment. To be fair they couldn't afford to provide hospitality as it was last season for any less money as they had put on some really good offers. I would expect that the format would need to change in some way. I would like to see a pay bar with a light lunch making it affordable to most people and the club would make money on the bar takings.

1st division games are generally pay at the gate. It is unlikely we will ever reach a sell out crowd in the 1st division. Obviously our derby games will have the biggest crowds but unlikely they will sell out.
  10. Do all the clubs in the 1st division hold a meeting and agree on the same price for season tickets or can all the clubs have a different price? or is it up to the SFL??? When I said THEY have to agree I meant those within ICT. They will set their own prices but I'm sure they will use the other SFL clubs as a guide.
  11. I don't think they will leave it that long. Season tickets need to be on sale as soon as possible, but they will have to agree on the prices. They really should have had 2 prices ready to go so that they could launch sales quickly, but I don't think this is the case.
  12. I won't be impressed if my main stand ticket costs ?270. We have to compete with County price wise. I would hope to pay a little over ?200 but not much more. I would hope that we might attract some new season ticket holders with a reduced price. I would rather have more season ticket holders at a lower price giving us more bums on seats and hopefully a better atmosphere I don't think we can open the terracing without having the ground re classified.

Thanks Yngwie - I was just about to have a look at the official site for info but you bet me too it. No real surprises there, some disappointments but no shocks. Zander - great guy, real gem and I think a good player but hasn't really featured lately Pavels - He was going anyway, hence being benched prior to Saturday Gatuessi - Not a TB signing Richie Byrne - again a Brewster signing who was always a risk Gary Wood - I would have liked to see him given a chance but we have to cut numbers Ian Vigurs - Great player with real potential, but again hasn't really featured under TB Andy NcNulty - Good back up, leaves us a bit short in goals.
  14. No top/bottom split. Highland March will have months to plan their route. It could go from the longest this year to the shortest - over the bridge.
  15. I dont see wilson coming back cause i know TB wont even look at him. Barry should do his coaching badges and maybe look about becoming a manager So how do you 'know' that TB won't look at Barry? As Alex MacLeod says, Barry has done some of his coaching badges and is a great and well respected guy to have in the dressing room. I would have him back tomorrow. I would love to have barry back but i cant see TB picking up on him. Maybe barry will do some SFA coaching in dingwall I know TB won't even look at him and I can't see TB picking up on him are 2 very different phrases. I can assure you TB will look at all of his options depending on the budget he has available. Barry may or may not be part of that, but I'm sure he'll keep his options open.

  17. Terry Butcher made a fantastic speech last night at the ball. Slightly long winded, due to the consumption of red wine, but excellent none the less. Eddie Smith and his assistants would have felt their ears burning I am sure. I'm glad TB & MM are staying and I'm looking foward to a new season with new challenges. I believe we can bounce back up and I can assure you that Terry Butcher believes that too.
  18. Barry would be great as a player/coach and would be more than happy to return in that role if there was a vacancy. I suppose it depends on how we restructure over the next few days.
  19. Update received from the club this morning ?With ticket sales going well for Saturday's crunch game against Falkirk we thought it would be useful to update on the arrangements for the next few days. Currently the Club is selling tickets for the North Stand and the Ticket Office will be open until 8pm tonight and from 8am on Saturday morning to deal with personal and telephone calls. It will also be possible to purchase tickets online until 9am Saturday morning. Ticket Office - 01463 222880 Online sales - Ticket Sales Unfortunately the Family Section is now sold out. On Saturday there will be CASH GATES for both sets of fans. For the home fans we will be selling the uncovered seats of Section G of the Main Stand via turnstiles 5 & 6 (Adult ?19.50/Concession ?14.50) plus the uncovered West Stand seats via turnstiles 11 & 12 (Adult ?19.50/Concession ?14.50). For Falkirk fans turnstile 7 will be a ticket holders only for the South Stand. Cash gates will therefore operate on turnstiles 8, 9 & 10. All turnstiles will open at 11.15am and all fans are asked to arrive as early as possible to enable a smooth entry to the ground.?

Nice to have some good news to share with you all this fine morning. 2 of our under 15 team have been invited to attend Scotland trials next month. Well done to Liam Polworth (Son of Ian) and Matthew Murphy. Great to see 2 local guys coming through the system, has to be good for the future of ICT. Well done guys, I'm sure you will do yourselves and ICT proud. The very best of luck to you both.

I was speaking to Mark Brown at Richard Hastings testimonial. The wages would not necessarily be an issue as he would rather earn less and play football every week. I am sure if we made him a reasonable offer, he may well consider it. He certainly had no issues with living in Inverness.
  23. Thank goodness for that. I was worried he might win his appeal.
  24. This thread was started to discuss the Supporters Club end of season presentation night. Please try to keep on topic. Plenty threads already discussing the potential relegation scenario.

They pay for the police to attend. Iit varies from game to game depending on the numbers required as far as I'm aware
