Their stadium hold about 10,000 and the away terracing is quite large so probably holds over 3,000. Wont be any need for tickets, pay at the gate for sure.

:D Is it good or rubbish? I would get yourself some armour and possibly go by tank if you want to survive.
-
You must have missed the million posts about it on here already in various topics!! Don't see Dundee getting beat though. If they were to draw though we would still have it won excluding a major mairacle for Dundee and possibly a 7,8-0 defeat on the last day.

What tosh. Everyone who is a member of the supporters club is welcome. If I called Caley D a profanity, would I still expect to be welcome on a bus he had arranged? As for cliques, you're part of the biggest one linked to the club. haha and please tell me what clique I am in?? This is going to be funny... And I am not talking about DC and have no idea what he said or if you decided he is welcome or not. My main problem was not knowing about the bus as its not advertised or know to people. This is not having a go at any one personaly as I wanted to go to go certain games on the bus I just didn't know how and many others have the same problem. That is clear but you seem to be denying it which is ridiculas.

It quite clear now that you have to contact Kath but I was sent her number by someone who knew it. If i wanted to go to Ayr I still wouldnt be to sure how to book, where is the details? I can't just phone up the opperator and ask for Kath bus. There does seem to be a wee group and if you havn't been on the bus for a while then they don't really show much initiative to branch out or get more numbers. A quick look through this topic shows lots of people didnt know anything about the bus or how to book for recent games and therefore made other plans. There is no need to get so defensive MabawaswaRichie, and some comments such as saying its been going for 16 years so why do I only want to go now just reinforce people's belief that there is a clique of people prefered and the rest who want to go now and then aren't to welcome. Click on pinned: Supporters Trust Bus to Ayr important topics on the ICT page probably 5 lines above this one for the time being. Afraid that is a totaly different unrelated bus to the supporters club one. But the supporters club only needs to follow the same example with a post at the start of every week giving all details of the bus.

Christ, where to start....... For a kick off, there was about 13 people who booked on the supporters bus to Morton. Not enough to run it. As for your statement about their being plenty of people wanting to go - why did only a minibus run if that was the case? Secondly, the supporters bus has been running sice the club formed. It isn't a new thing. Quite why you have taken 16 years to turn around and say it isn't advertised enough is, quite frankly, astounding. The bus is advertised in the program, and up until not so long ago, was announced over the tannoy at home games. As I said to your mate, the job is up for grabs, why not grab it? ok...well CaleyD can only drive one bus at a time but there was more interest, I think he said he could have filled 3 mini busses, which could have helped run a supporters bus if it was simply posted here, there is no arguing with this! So what if it's been around for 16 years, what has that got to do with anything?? I didn't want to go 16 years ago I wanted to go to Raith in October and Morton this month. And it being announced over the tanoy in the past isn't going to help anything in the present time is it? Also not everyone gets a programme! It is not me just saying that it isn't well advertised as other posters have said the same thing, maybe you are in the know about the bus but that doesn't help people who are not regular travellers and who only want to go now and then by bus. So this might 'astound' you but if you are not a regular traveller or in the know and fancy going to an away game on the bus one day how do you find out about it?? I looked through my posts before Raith game and I think I put up two or three messages asking if anyone knew about the supporters bus and there was not one answer! So you can not honestly try and pretend the bus, times, contact details etc are well advertised becasue it is simply not true.
-
Maybe you should take over. You seem to have all the answers. Also 12th Man was just giving some feedack and suggestions so why the need to have a go at him? You are getting awful defensive about it.

Was it 3 or was it 4 times this season you've contacted Kath's mobile to get a seat on the bus Joe? I thought you didn't know how to contact her about it? Wooof that will be me banned as well then? And your answer is once. I went to Raith away in October. As I was on holiday I wanted to go down to the game but couldn't find anything about the busses on here, I phoned the stadium and was told they didn't know anything about the busses as they are not run through the club, I think I even put a post up asking if anyone knew and was given a mobile number to phone. I suppose you can count a 2nd time when I asked about the Morton game but was told there was no bus due to not enough interest...which turned out to be far from true as there was plenty people here who wanted to go and would have if the supporters bus was advertised or there was some information given out. A simple post here and they would have had enough numbers for a coach going by the demand for CaleyD's minibus. I am not having a go at Kath personaly I am saying there is little to no information about the busses anywhere and I had great problems trying to find out if there was even a bus and what time it left. Are you trying to say I'm wrong about the bus being well known and advertised?

Maybe you should take over. You seem to have all the answers. You would just ban him from riding on a bus over the internet though. Then it would be back to square 1

How can the Mods allow some like this to be said on these forums. Whether you agree with it or not in the eyes of Johnny Lawman, its racist. As for the ABE thing, its merely "chip on the shoulder" Scots showing how narrow minded they are...Is this the 21st century or what? Is it not double standards posting this here then on the Scottish Cup thread saying you want County to lose, Highlanders or not? Or is it merely a chip on your shoulder showing how narrow minded you are? I would love to know the difference. Also 'how can the mods allow this to be said', sorry but get a grip, wanting England to lose is NOT racist, I'm not even sure what different race they are meant to be. If it is then wanting County to lose must also be equally racist. It is rivarly, what football is all about, England fans even have a smiliar t-shirt, see the link posted above, so are they now racist against Scots It is all football banter. For the record I want both County and England to lose but would take County winning the cup anyday over England winning the world cup. I hope they fail miserably!!

Everyone does realise this isn't the real golden boot competition :D Some people seem to be acting like Rooney has missed out on something! He is what 1 goal behind Macallister with 3 games to go, Boyd has 5 games though so he can still win the golden boot.

This as most of this election is English based as quite a few of those questions aren't relevant to Scotland. I seem to get more and more fed up with general elections with its English focus on every aspect. Also the Scottish Labour Party launched it's own manifesto :D what the hell is that all about!? They are the same party as Labour in England and as it's supposed to be the government of the UK then the Labour manifesto should be the same in England and Scotland as its the same people they are governing, unless they plan to implement certain things in Scotland and don't want that to be widely know in its English manifesto and vise vera, it's the same tax money they will be spending. Also I was a bit supprised when Nick Clegg was saying that Alex Salmond is irrelevant in England and a two bit politician there as like him or not and support the SNP or not, he is still the First Minister of Scotland and that just smacked of dissrespect to Scotland and the parliament here and if Scotland is irrelevant politics in the UK the the Lib Dems won't be getting my vote. I doubt he would have said that about a leader of any other government or assembly in the world.

Agree, Rooney stuggled when Foran was suspended and Foran is probably responsible for making a lot of Ronneys goals, would be Foran for me to.
-
Think it was 10 games you had to be involved in and I'm sure he played more than that so I guess he would be entitled to one.

It wouldn't be a league cup if it included non-league teams it would just be a 2nd Scottish Cup then which would be a bift daft playing it twice a year. 16 teams just wouldn't give enough game and the clubs would never accept it, also I think 18 teams is to many for the top league in Scotland and teams would again want self preservation as they would lose out on more games against the OF and the OF would not want to lose 2 games against each other. Thats why I think 14 is perfect as you play the same amount of games, 38, and the OF will play each other 4 times and if you finish in the top 7 you get 2 more games against them and there is no uneveness in the split.

The Intertoto cup was scrapped 2 years ago.

Stuff a newspaper golden boot it's not a real award and means nothing!! Rooney will win the real Scottish Golden boot for top scorer this season, that's the one that matters!!
-
No, not really but if we don't go up this season it was be a disaster for the club. You can tell just from the amount of cut backs, laying staff off, shop part time etc that the club are struggiling for money. Also with the amount of players we have out of contract if we didn't go up then we would lose most of our better players and would not be close to challenging next season. Then our financial situation would only get worse and I think we would be concined to the lower leagues for a good while or could even do what some other past relegated teams from the top league have done and drop another division. It's vital that we go back up this season then stay up next year!
-
This is a bit of a ridiculas poll. 'Good or Rubbish'? :) Is that how we are catagorising players now, it's the kind of question a 5 year old would ask. Anyway it's not really the time to be asking if so and so is good or rubbish (cringe writing that) as he is going to be playing on sat. A more serious question would be if we are to go up would he be good enough for the SPL or would he be much more rubbisher in the SPL!
-
What about using red food colouring? Costs about 50p from any supermarket. Go outside and bang your head off a wall 10 times. That would sort out the red bandage and it would be authentic! :)
-
The teams in the SPL would never go for a 16 team league as they would lose 8 games, even an enhanced league cup would never cover that as the attendances in them would be poor, even if it was regionalised, remember we played County in the semi final of the challenge cup and the crowd was below 3,000 No, I agree with Harry... A premier league of 16 and a Div 1 of 16, with the bottom two SPL teams playing off for promotion and relegation with the top two Div 1 sides. The idea of a regional league cup, with a group stage is a good one, and it would allow the OF more games against each other. Forget about the Challenge Cup - that was organised by a bunch of Neanderthals who can't even speak English. You couldn't have play offs involving the bottom 2 and top 2 as that would leade to the possibility of no teams being relegated which would be a joke. The league is a joke regarding relegation already and that would make it 10 times worse. If you win the 1st division would deserve automatic promotion as well as relegation for finishing bottom. 2 up 2 down as well as a playoff match for 3rd bottm/3rd top would be better

As the SPL have now said they are open to league reconstruction what does everyone else think would be the best way forward? I have heard people call for an 18 team league but I think that would kill the SPL as there be be so many meaningless games and teams having nothing to play for around the middle of the table who would happliy sit there year after year with no real danger of relegation or realistic chance of challenging. Also a 16 team league would only give 30 game which isn't enough and would be voted against be most if not all teams in the SPL as they would lose considerable income. I remember hearing something that John Robertson put forward about a 14 team leage with a split. I can't remember exactly what his idea was but thinking about it there is a great idea in there. I always felt the split generated some excitment into the league and gave mid table teams something to aim for and with a 14 team league it could be done fairly as well. Each team could play each other twice giving 26 games then split into a top 7 and bottom 7 where they would play each other home and away once more giving 38 games, 19 home 19 away for everyone and each team would have played everyone home and away evenily in their section. This would keep the interest of the split and do it in a fair way, also for relegation I would like to see 13th and 14th places relegated with the 12th placed team going into a playoff against the 3rd team in the 1st division. This would keep the relegation section highly competative and lead to a lot more important games where attendances would surely rise. Also the 1st and 2nd divisons could follow the same 14 team format with a split and this would give many teams the oppertunity of making the top 7 and then possibly at least having a chance of getting the playoff position and the relegation section would again have the bottom 2 relegated and the 3rd bottom team in a playoff with 3rd from division 2. This again would make both section highly competative with most teams having something serious to play for. Furthermore I would like to see the oppertunity for non league teams to be promoted to the 2nd division and possibly regionalised leagues created in a type of pyramid system.
