  1. Feck (Actually I thought this when he was walking up, and I wasn't the only one)
  2. Don't know who said it but "Show me a good loser and I will show you a loser"
  3. Did he check with these people today? I can just see a "suit" saying " Just hold on Ewan I'll just leave my seat at the Celtic- Saints game and check this for you" ps Luke could you change your "banner" please. I'm trying to forget penalties.
  4. I have one question. Why did we let an Englishman take a penalty? Look at Englands records in penalty shoot-outs.

" There are none so blind as those who will not see" This is damaging to the club and supporters.
  6. Thought after the 10th foul since been booked Ngoo should walk. Not sure how many fouls someone has to make before it becomes persistent fouling.. Anyone else's heart sink when referee went for pocket after mckay brought down webster only to find out was for the sub. Sorry to be a downer on are team selection policy but think its absolutely disgraceful roberts gets on ahead of nick ross.. As well as the penalty miss roberts also overstretched to header a ball that was falling perfectly for andy shinnie at the back post in final minute of extra time much to shinnies disgust and mine. Anyway still are greatest season and it was only the diddy cup anyway.. This is absolutely spot on. Why do we persist with him when Nick Ross is evidently a better player? I would also argue that Roberts is not better than Sutherland or Pepper so why waste our time playing a guy who is off back to Arsenal in a few months. I admit I did not see the 4-0 win against Dundee United where apparently he was impressive but I have seen little to convince me he is anything special and he certainly does not have the work ethic to fit into this team. Hopefully we continue our good league form with a win on Wednesday and progress to the last 8 of the Scottish cup on Saturday. Disappointing to lose to what as a poorer than usual Hearts side especially with them down to 10 men and us having such a great season. Edit: Not sure how to fix the quoting function but oh well Because Marsella found Roberts and Marsella didn't find Ross...or Sutherland? And Terry thinks so little of the opinions of our own youth coaches that he ignores their opinions? This is one of the craziest posts I've ever read on here. How can anyone think Butcher or any other manager would chose a team or penalty takers on "which person found them" is utterly ridiculous . To be honest I am no fan of Roberts and think Ross should always come on before him if at all possible. Shane Sutherland wasn't much better than Roberts when he came on either.
  7. Just a note of caution. Were are still in January and we have achieved a great deal in terms of ICT but in the eyes of the football world we will be judged in May. We'll see who may want to play us then. Barcelona or Buckie Thitle?
  8. Barry Robson and Don Cowie spring to mind
  9. I don't care about the opinions of anyone who is not a season ticket holder on this subject only the opinions of the ones who go to home games.
  10. Spoken to a friend of mine who works at Thorpe Arch which is the youth academy HQ for leeds (he's a physio) and he says that about 2 years ago great things were expected of Charlie but he didn't come on as first thought. Has a bit of speed but needs to toughen up. Good all round opinion though.

Just nice to hear a rumour saying someones coming rather than leaving.
  12. Maybe only for a couple of dozen hours. So far, St Mirren have shifted fewer tickets than we have. That is embarrassing for St Mirren when it is close enough for them to get to.Why is there such an apathy towards this cup these days do you think,is it because they have taken away the european spot or do people just not have enough money to go? i think years back the earlier rounds were included in a season ticket I know it has been devalued in England for a long time but in Scotland it has been the chance for many clubs to actually win a bit of silverware. maybe it just needs a revamp to get the fans excited again, think its sad that one of our national competitions is treated this way I was thinking along these lines today. Would a two legged semi-final generate more interest? A european spot would help the teams but would supporters be excited?
  13. Possibly will be (although Gretna and Livingston have both been in semi-finals). Its not the amout of fans that will decide who goes to Hampden so I am going to enjoy the day and let the teams decide.
  14. What about the 1800 to 1900 season ticket holders that provide money to the club each year and give money direct to OUR club. Do you not care about them going? ( by the way I go home and away)
  15. Major apologies if I sound like a Celtic fan here, but is the Daily Record trying its best to unsettle our season. Today we have two mentions, one being that Andrew Shinnie is on a list of out of contract players that Craig Brown has for Aberdeen the other being the lack of tickets sold for the semi-final. As posted on this forum before over 120 players are out of contract from SPL clubs at the end of the season and as Shinnie is up there with the best I'm sure he will be on most clubs lists. Why haven't they mentioned Randolf and Higdon at Motherwell. On the ticket front, it is not a secret we have a low fan base so how is this news. Since the former P & J comedian has swapped comics there seems to be a lack of "proper" stories about ICT.
  16. Pretty strong rumours about 3 weeks ago about him going to Aberdeen before the end of January. Maybe a possability now.
  17. Heard back from Hibs and as you all say no fans parking. They also added there may be streets closed for segregation purposes but not yet decided by L & B police.
  18. Parking is usually a problem when we play Hibs but I am going to contact Hibs later today to ask about parking with us having one of the home stands.
  19. See Hearts have signed Danny Wilson on loan for rest of season. I thought central defence was one of their strong points? Would he be able to play in the semi-final?
  20. In what way did he treat us like dirt ? Well you may remember he kept the fans on a knife-edge for weeks, by the looks of things for the attention it would bring him. He told the fans about three times that he was going to announce his future that day and then there'd be nothing, before eventually signing for Aberdeen and claiming it was "an easy decision to make". He showed little respect to the fans throughout that whole saga. As much as it pains me to say it, I agree with this. He seemed to love the spotlight and used his twitter to wind just about everyone up including Aberdeen
  21. Facebook I think That explains why I've not seen it
  22. Am I missing something about the singing of TB's name after 6 mins on Saturday. Has this been muted about? If so where?
  23. The most annoying thing about all this is that we are just over a week away from a cup semi-final and the whole focus for the press and fans is on negative situations (Daily Record piece that was pulled from the Aberdeen Mad forum and the Andy Shinnie not signing situation). The next 4 games can shape our season and I would hope some positivity would show its head at some stage.
  24. I see Tamworth have just sacked their manager.................. I wonder.
  25. Hearts fans have launched a campain to make sure that this game will be a record crowd for the new style Easter Road. Record at the moment is 17300 approx, so according to Hearts fans if they sell out and we sell just over 1000 tickets it would set a new record.
