Am I missing something about the singing of TB's name after 6 mins on Saturday. Has this been muted about? If so where?

The most annoying thing about all this is that we are just over a week away from a cup semi-final and the whole focus for the press and fans is on negative situations (Daily Record piece that was pulled from the Aberdeen Mad forum and the Andy Shinnie not signing situation). The next 4 games can shape our season and I would hope some positivity would show its head at some stage.

Also Craig Brown contacted ICT to tell them he would be speaking to Hayes long before the "announcement". Don't have to believe anyone if you see and hear it with your own eyes.

I don't know who your source close to Aberdeen is but I will quote Craig Brown as my source. He seems pretty close to Aberdeen. In answer to a journalist asking about A. Shinnie, Paw Broon said " We have had no contact with anyone in connection to this player." Arron Doran turned Aberdeen down before signing for us, whats the difference now? oh yea we're much better now. If you know anything about Craig Brown the first person who would know about any interest in ICT players would be Terry Butcher. Just check back at the Hayes saga.

Didn't know whether to post this or not but the source is usually very reliable. Apparently Barnsley contacted Terry via a third party (possibly Kevin Beattie) on Sunday to see if he would be interested. Terry asked very few questions and told them to contact ICT chairman. One question that was asked was "Is it just me, or all the coaching staff?". The Barnsley director involved was non- commital on this but asked if TB would meet with owners and directors. The rest is well documented.

Barnsley have had 10 permanent managers in the last 12 years plus numerous caretaker managers. Dosen't sound like a club with a long term plan of any kind.

Barnsley fans ain't that happy. One quote on "Tykes Mad" forum says " I would rather dig up Pat Butcher and give her the job". Owen Coyle is their favorite and they are pretty sure Terry will turn them down anyway.

They were confident that O'Driscoll was going to accept and described it as a body blow to the club when he turned them down. Did Barnsley really say "good vibe" in a statement??

The club and TB will behave in the manner they always do and whatever happens it will be done the right way and not by giving off the cuff statements and issuing sound bites to please the media

No point speculating on our next manager till anything happens. There would be no shortage of applicants if Terry does go. How often does a manager get the chance to go to a team lying second in the league, in one semi-final of a cup and in the last sixteen of another? Now having looked at that why would TB want to go?

If Butcher does go, hopefully, he would care enough for the club not to take any players with him.

After completing a loan period from Fleetwood Town and then being released by the Fylde club, Danny is a free agent and able to sign for any team, now that the transfer window has re-opened. Late in the day he has received contact from other clubs and he is reviewing his options before making a commitment. We had hoped that the Belfast-born defender would have agreed to remain at Wrexham, but at this stage, that seems unlikely, with clubs from higher up the footballing ladder showing an interest. Wherever Danny finally ends up, we thank him for his contribution over the last three months and wish him well in his future career.

Don't know why we are berating C*unty about a postponment. If you ask the fans of Celtic, St Johnston or Q o t S they would brand us as "the joke of the Highlands". Postponments happen.

Bad day at the office. Motherwell were in our faces straight from the off and were set out to bypass our midfield. Tactically they knew what to do and please don't let our bad play take anything away from Motherwell, they were outstanding today. Too many of our players off form in the same game. Missed Ross Draper but lets not get carried away with this. If anyone had offered me top six after 14 games they would have teeth marks in their wrist. Last time we lost to Motherwell we went on an unbeaten run. No panicing please
