  1. Appeal turned down. Suspended for one cup match.
  2. I don't often post about games but I am so p*ssed off with Kilmarnock players today. Last season I applauded Kilmarnock off the pitch when they beat us 3-1 and played wonderful football. Today the number 10 was a disgrace with constant diving and the boy Kelly's foul (or assault) on Doran was unbelievable. Shield and Nicol should take a good look at themselves and their team if this is what they put them on the pitch to do.
  3. Further travel tips for journey to Aberdeen. Its Nairn Games day, so add this to the traffic lights every 20 yds will make it slow progress through Nairn by road.

Sorry don't know how to link but SFA website :Inside Football: disapline:Current Fast Track will get you there.

Claim dismissed. One match suspension immidiate effect. SFA website.
  6. Was Souness not away to Liverpool before th SPL was set up in 1998? How about Owen Coyle at St Johnstone?
  7. Did he not only sign for Stanley from Tranmere a year ago, so he came through Tranmeres youth not Accringtons? Therefore no compo.
  8. How is this an embarassment? Rain that was much heavier than forcast, undersoil heating (installed because of SPL rules) making it impossible to spike certain areas of the pitch, SPL referee having to do pitch inspection and TV pushing for the game to be played thus delaying the decision. The club didn't call the game off for burst pipes, stadium roof blowing off or undersoil heating failing so why are we embarassed? As insurance companies love to say "An Act of God". No blame to the clube or ground staff.
  9. Pre Neil Lemmon Celtic and Rangers in equal amounts. Now Celtic, Celtic reserves, Celtic under 21's, all Celtic youth teams and Falkirk becaus Pressley is an arrogant, cheating t**t
  10. Me plus 1 via Ikea
  11. If I was a Dundee fan I wouldn't be so confident. As I believe the HMRC and the former management team have refused this offer and have 28 days to launch an appeal. As major creditors HMRC can block this agreement and force liquidation on the club. If Dundee are still a going concern in a months time then they may survive, but they shouldn't count there chickens just yet.
  12. I may have got this wrong but on the STV news it sounded like David Sutherland told Terry to wind his neck in.

I agree crowd was disapointing from the home fans but bare in mind we've had two home games over the Christmas period and although tickets were cheap people only have a certain amount of spare income to spend on luxuries such as football. For the large amount of Elgin fans that travelled this was thier cup final and having spoken to "Elgin Fans" that came off two buses for a bevvy in Nairn before and after the game only about a quarter of them actually have ever been to an Elgin game before and were made up of Moray based Old Filth fans and Highland League fans from Banff, Lossie, Forres and Rothes.
  14. Other posters please bare with me to see if Nigel answers the questions to see where I am coming from. I am a season ticket holder and go to as many away games my a) finances 2)work commitments and 3) my family allow. Nigel, 1) When did you go to your first ICT game? 2) Home many away games have you been to this season? 3) The season ticket holders you know and ask to go to away games, what reason did they give for not going. If you are the person I think you are and you answer the questions honestly everyone will see just what a tube you are!!
  15. A workmate of mine who supports Stoke City says he thinks The Potters put a buy back clause in Adams contract so if he was to be sold they would have first refusal at a knock down price if it is within the 3 years of initial contract. Does anyone know if this is true?

Apologise if wrong but I think the "away" shirt still has a year to go and it is a new home shirt for next year, but with new sponsors both shirts may be changed. If memory serves me right the home shirt should revert to blue and red stripes for next season (Again I may be wrong but do they not alternate between prodomanetley blue and stripes?)
  17. Just a wee word of advice before travelling to the Morton game tonight. The rain in Greenock has been falling for a few hours now and has been torrential at times and local parks in the area are flooded (according to a friend who lives just outside Greenock). With the past record of call offs at Cappielow it maybe worth checking before setting off
  18. Just about to set off for game and a question has been asked. When was the last time we lost a league match at TCS in an evening kick-off?
  19. Big G replied to Scotty's topic in Caley Thistle
Barry coming in as player/coach would be an asset and the cost off set by the departure of one, possibly Imrie, or two, add Barrowman to Imrie. His experience and knowledge of the club and Div 1 are something we lack at this time and if used correctly could be an ace up Butchers sleeve when used as a player.
  20. I believe Sky are covering the Hamilton Rangers game and only have one choice and one replay each round.
  21. What it means is the ball was in the field of play and not off the field waiting for corners, throw-ins, free kicks etc to be taken.
  22. Not that anyone will be slightly interested but out of the 93 mins played on Saturday the ball was in play for only 43 mins.
  23. I read through this forum daily but it is very rare that I post but having just spent ?42 admission and ?50 fuel and 9 hours of my life I can never get back I just have to post. Today was not only annoying to the unst degree but above all embarassing. My wife and myself have followed ICT home and away for years now and today was the first time we have ever left a game early because of the way our team has been playing. To pick out individual players would be unfair but FECK IT, Russell Duncan and Grant Munro were Div 3 at best today. We dont seem to be able to put two results together so I live in hope that St Mirren will suffer in a fortnight.
  24. What a lot of twaddle - if that were the case then arrests on Friday and Saturday nights would number into the hundreds in Inverness alone. "Hey Mr Policeman....that bloke looked at me funny, I think you should arrest him" And what about all those fans that punch the air in celebration....should they all be arrested too? Give me a break!!! If a crowd of people were standing and someone ran up to them in a aggressive manner in front of Police officers in a way that was clearly going to cause an adverse reaction they would be lifted. Caley D you either did not see the incident properly or have no comprehension of the law
  25. If what Russell Duncan did in front of the Aberdeen fans had happened on Academy St on a Friday or Saturday night he would have been lifted for Breach of the Peace. He raised his arms in a aggressive way and his face was contort with passion (anger or Celebration) and it was incitement. Just because its on a football field does not make it okay. Caley your first comment was spot on
