Hamilton v Inverness CT
Very pleased with the result. By all accounts a good performance as well. I hope I am proved very long with some of my previous thoughts and more of this kind of thing will go along way.

Hamilton v Caley Thistle - Pre-Match Thread
First season opener I've missed for over 10 years but for some reason I feel really optimistic about this game. 3-1 to the Caley Jags.

Lucky, lucky Celtic
I've heard Oscar Pistorious has sacked his legal team and hired Celtiic. This way you can lose both legs and still win. (I'll get my coat)

Hughes comments
If anyone has read any of my posts about Yogi you may be surprised by my take on this. I think his interviews can come over very differently when written down than in the way it was actually said. It's hard to show a smile or a tongue in cheek remark that has been implied when in the written press.

Mckay to Fleetwood/Frankfurt/Fraserburgh?
If it is not an exceptional amount of money we would be crazy to let him go at this time.

Hamilton v Caley Thistle - Pre-Match Thread
Drapes had a stomach strain but was getting fitness tests at half time on Saturday

Hamilton v Caley Thistle - Pre-Match Thread
I usually work overtime and take time off in lieu for games and have only missed 3 in 3 seasons but I am rostered to work Saturday and will not be asking for the time off. Like another poster on another thread, I will save my time and money.

Predicted Final Table

Birmingham Away
Just back and I'll put the three points of view. First from Blues fans in the Royal George after the game: They thought our defending was comedic at times and thought that the tippy tappy football at the back was asking for trouble but all agreed Ryan Christie was some prospect and would swap for Andy Shinnie The second view from the 5 Baggie fans who came with us: they thought the highlight was the " If you hate Aston Villa" chant but as for the game they were not impressed and thought our defenders have to defend first and play second. From me: Not going to comment on the game as it's all been said, but unless I missed it, did our management team come over at the end to acknowledge the fans as I didn't see them? If they didn't somebody should have a word. By the way thanks to the Blues fans in the Royal George pub beside the ground for letting us in before and after the game. Staff reckoned we were the first ever away fans wearing colours allowed in

Not if you want to be stood outside electronic turnstiles when people with tickets go in, no.

Birmingham Away
Want me to buy yours? Yes please - never mind the bollicks but that is just stooped - there are bound to be fans - home, away and neutral that are going to turn up on the day. Look nobody is saying it's an all ticket game, what I said is you will probably need a ticket to get in e.g No cash turnstiles. Sorry if I tried to help people. Won't make that mistake again. If I had wished to have a go at you I would have addressed it to you. But if there are NO cash turnstiles then how is it NOT an all ticket match - DOH If you cannot work this one out you are not the intelligent man i took you for.

ICT vs Fleetwood Town
Do not understand the trialist thing at all. Of all the positions we have cover in CM has the most. Draper, Foran, Tansey, Vincent , Polworth, and Williams all able to play there. Hughes has said its pointless wasting a wage for someone to sit in the stand. Another Yogi conundrum that I cannot workout. Everyone can see its upfront we need to look at.

ICT vs Fleetwood Town
Having been to all pre-season games I have to say this was much better. Forget Clach and Forres the other games have left me with a lot of doubts. Today I think we mixed things up more and broke from defence to attack much quicker. I do think the pi***ng about at the back will cause us major problems in league games.

Internet controlled robot fans
I would think the SPFL would have all T.V rights of any kind covered. Although I do remember a webcam at Morton when we were in the first div.

Birmingham Away
Says only the Kop stand. Did you buy online or phone up? No mention of away tickets that I can see. At the ICT shop.
-
Birmingham Away
Bought tickets today and noticed a bar code. Looks like it's mechanised turnstiles so tickets will be needed. Brum website says it's tickets only and only some of the ground will be open.

Pre-season friendlies
According to twitter yes, only the main stand.

Deveronvale v Inverness Caley Thistle
Not as good as we have, but it's hard to say on one game. Tansey has been one of the better things in pre-season and he certainly wasn't up to his ability. With our midfield I would say it would be a waste of a wage. Yogi has said there is no point paying a player to sit in the stand.

New Home Shirt 2014-15
Went in to buy another shirt today (my wife has claimed the first one) and a guy dressed head to foot in Celtic gear came in the shop. I thought to my self " They better not be selling him tickets for the Celtic game". Imagine my shock when he bought a new shirt for his ICT supporting son. Fair cheered me up.
