IHE--- :rotflmao: :rotflmao: What a nice thought Scotty is much younger than me so maybe you should have directed it to him in Toronto.. But I appreciated the thought. There must be life in the old dawg yet I guess. You know what I got from my young wife for Christmas? ...REBOOT, parts 1 through 4. Whee! That show was made in Vancouver, by the way , and is by now a cult classic. Hexadecimal to all of you and a very happy Christmas and new Year.

Och! Happens occasionally in ice hockey too. It's quick though....."now you see the tooth, now you don't." Then the guy is picking it up from the ice. Have you even wondered whether they can, in some way, put it back n again? They probably take a cast of the tooth and then prepare and insert the resutant plastic tooth directly into the bone. The hockey players are earning so much money that to them it is like half-an hour's work.I was speaking to an ex-Edmonton Oiler's player yesterday who said that in nhis day the p[layers got paid about $180,000 per season bt now the minimum is about $1,000,000 and thta is considered chump change by the players, My wife has had two done and we had to rally the family round to all club in to pay for it. At $3,000 per tooth, that's 2,000 pounds chums,it's a real shock to the system.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/16305945.stm Here is the link to the article in which the Brighton Manager , Poyet, complains that he is not allowed to criticise referees or any decision by the English Football authorities. Says if he does he will be fined and they are trying to shut his mouth. He says that their system is so undemocratic that they will fine hi=m to death until he vecomes a roboit and not a human being . "All I am doing." He goes on "Is try to make the game and societal conditions fair and humani.e. not put people down for the sake of it. Shades of the experiences that Terry Butcher has had in Scotland...eh?

As usual not allowed to hear any radio feeds here in Canada. But, Phew! What a great 3 points. This game started at 4.30 am in Vancouver so the first thing I did when I got up at 7.30a.m. was to mosey over to the computer to check this result. Hope and pray that we win again on Wednesday. Every time we win, the confidence increases so.... Have a great Christmas, one and all.

Dentistry? You mean he smiled a lot at his mates?

Manfer a green dot for your good post. I think you got two as I sneezed. It's the old story--don't let up just because you get a good spell of pressure going. Keep working.

Well, looks like we've got the players. To have matched the Rangers with all their money backing the team and reports suggesting we were all over them in periods, is phenomenal after the slagging this team has had of late. Results just not going our way and inconsistencies in the past weeks have dogged us. Penalties at Ibrox? --No chance. Rangers or Celtic must always win the league in the eyes of the current crop of football officials--for the good of the league, of course. How can ICT compete in terms of importance with an average gate of just over 3,000 hardy supporters when the crowd at Ibrox today was 43,000? It's truly astonishing isn't it that so many Glasgow fans turned up to see the "lowly" and "unfortunate" current ICT team? We must be doing something right to deserve such recognition.Maybe it's a pity that the Scottish fans are not running the show as opposed to the set-up we currently have in Glasgow. I have always been opposed to penalties on principal anyway. With a foul given inside the box and being so near the goal surely being penalty enough for the defending team, why give a free and unopposed shot? The chances of the attacking team scoring is very high with a penalty but not quite so high, but still very advantageous, with a simple foul. So near and yet so far.....

Unless Vlad the Lad is about to go bankrupt the League /SFA is probably very reluctant to get involved since Hearts are a private business (I assume). I wonder if this is an unheard of situation in Scottish football over the past many years? Pretty digraceful though.

:rotflmao: If you have been a regular viewer on here, Rossco, you should know better than to ask questions like that. It's like saying to a woman who has undergone lip enhancement ..."Why did you do that?" to which she replies ..."Because I wanted to, I could and it stops the ends of lips from fraying".

Shocking injury. Major surgery will work for him with good luck and good fortune. Chris will be back but it will take time and patience and hard work. Heartfelt feelings after reading his blog. Very best of luck to him now. Scarlet

Maybe some of the chickens that were released before the season started are now coming home to roost. e.g. Gutting the team and removing virtually all of the steadying older team members to replace them with individually talented, but very young and inexperienced, ones is not going to succeed and never was likely to. Either that or this is turning out to be our one-season-in-a-decade-nightmare where everything goes wrong and nothing that is done to remedy matters solves the challenges. But if the team makeup was not fragile and backed up by experience would that happen? Unfortunately, it is also true that a good team makes it's own luck, and overcomes adversity more readily, How? By digging deeper.

Around 120 degrees is what is recommended here. I usually turn the thermostat down lower because it saves gas consumption and then the tank does not burn out too quickly. And the risk of serious injury is much less. Very sorry to hear about this terrble misfortune to Lewis. All the very best for a speedy recovery. S.P.

Ghost of Pimple? You are very bright Mantis, sharp really. -- at least I am not a vampire which is the current genre...eh? I am all-white, red and smooth --except where there are pimples of course. Reading Scotty's account I am glad I live in B.C. even if the incessant rain is a pain dans la derriere. Snowfalls were formerly so rare that one would exit the house to look up at the flakes when they did arrive; but in recent years big dumps and more frequent falls are becoming a scary norm. This year has been awful- wet and cold most of the time with sunshine a very rare occurrence.

Yes Lennon was trying to hide his feelings but I think he was down. I also have a suspicion that he thought that it was going to be easier against Caley than it turned out. That goal from Hayes must have sickened him. Not only was it a winner but it was ferocious strike and unstoppable really. And it was then he knew he was in a game . Wow!

Just in case you are serious, Lauraness, you can always come to Canada and have a go here. If you can't drive in the snow after that, just park at he bottom of the hill. Cars generally come in two versions. Manual and Automatic. If in manual you control the engine revolutions with the use of the gear stick. In automatic, usually you cannot move the gear stick sideways at all--only up and down but, as the man said above, you can't put in into reverse by mistake because the car has a lock on it to prevent this.. Here are a couple of extra tips, 1. If it starts to get icy, SLOW DOWN. 2. If it starts to get icy don't try to go down a hill because one touch of the brakes can be fatal.I know, it happened to me and as my car gathered speed in LOW GEAR with the brakes useless I slowly smacked into a parked car and ended up facing uphill. That was not yesterday but I will remember the horrible feelings always. 3, Stop the car and walk up the hill. 4. Ask Scotty for advice . He lives in Toronto on he east coast of Canada where they get large gobs of snowfalls and he will teach you everything you need to know about how to drive in the snow. He comes out to British Columbia here on the west coast when he hears we have had a dump and splits his sides laughing at Westerners trying to drive in the snow and ice. P.S. This has to be a wind-up.

The Scarlet fella is reporting a major improvement in his access times for this site and he has not encountered another scarlet warning message. Just thought you would like to know. The posting of comments on the threads seem to be much quicker too. You could also use SP's experiences as further ammunition with your Associates since he invariably posts either late at night in the U.K. or early morning there. Meaning that it can hardly be your site experiencing high volumes as the cause of the problem-- when he experienced the warnings at say (for example) 11am Canada / 7p.m. U.K or 10p.m. Canada/ 6a.m in U.K. Haven't been on for a while since my gout is giving me gip; but great site, chaps. Scarlet is on the windup Manfer. C.mon, it's now all in fun.

Terry calls it lack of desire. When I was looking at the highlights of Hearts game I had the feeling there was a lack of urgency about the individual players and a lack of real spirit and enthusiam. These highlights are only a small slice of the ebb and flow of the game and you really can't judge the whole match on the highlights but, whatever you call it, it boils down to passion for goals and a passion for the club. When Dodds was centre half it was there. So ?

Mannie--I should join the OCCUPY movement then if you are right. Because I must be in that 99% that are very disadvantaged which as far as your views are concerned is Thousands of ICT Online viewers never post and probably never will after reading your thoughts. And your point is ..what? If you don't have a constructive one, why not quit whilst you are ahead, anose or anaughty boy. O.K Now, to answer a very self-controlled and right down regular poster, Scotty, who is factual and always makes sense.....I understand what you write and confirm that,as far as I can remember, I did not see any pop-ups other than the number 2, i.e. "There is a problem with the site etc.". You are right, I don't recall any direct blocking advices. So the question of a static address does not arise. I got the same "cached page"message again today as I came on to the website and used the small link at the bottom of that page to gain access to the main page.I suppose one could get used to it but wonder how many other members also get it quite regularly. And at what times in the day it is more likely to pop-up? I usually get online late in the U K day or even very early in the morning (U K time) due to the 8 hour delay. Would this have any bearing on the issue? I note that it's about 10 pm in the Black Isle, so off you gho to bed Mannie and don't forget your hot water bottle . so yoyu feel a lot better in the morning.

The four duplicates arose all at the same time Mannie, as I tried to see what was going on because none registered. I then closed down the page. Next time I opened up the webpage there they were.Shock and awe! Then I find out that other posters are experiencing the same thing. So what's your point.? Sorted , you say, may have been on a wind up. That's just self-supporting supposition, isn''t it? What if Scarlet was bored and also went on a wind up--of course out of exasperation! How would you know unless, like IHE, you are a SEER? And it is more likely that Scarlet is to blame than Sorted who is really nice...eh? Bah .Humbug. Caley D. The pop-ups to which the Scarlet One referred were Security related ones, NOT advertising ones. They were strictly related to the site. They blocked and did offer a link to get in at the bottom of the pop-up...which seemed to defeat the purpose of the blocking--ffs. Since the problems evidenced on this webpage have never happened to my browser elsewhere, and all my Favourites links always open immediately, the conclusion is that the slow server speeds etc that Scotty mentioned are most likely the causes. Also, the cloudflare pop-up which I have experienced several times in the last week or so, are site related are they not? And why do they appear at all to block a long-time member in good standing(i.e not suspicious)? --which indicates an inherent flaw in the Security architecture or service? Don'tb hesitate to correct me if I am wrong? And are we going to get an answer to the suggestion that such an occurrence can be offset by the creation of an exception list for that security service so that such long-time members as Mannie and Scarlet are not subjected to undue stress,in an otherwise very stressful world, and that most awful of emotions...EXASPERATION.

Capital Caley I found your post interesting. Yes, the team may settle down nicely as the younger players come good as the season p[rogresses. However, if the likes of Meekings and Tansey and so on return to England as a result of being spotted for their innate talented showings, what then? Back to dip into the loanee tub is it? That will not build a team for the future.

Manfer; Sorry for being alive! But I DID fffs wait a fffs minute between each post to see if something would clear or add up. What I should have done is quit but felt that some of the suggestions I wanted to make could have been ...HOT. So I tried to bypass a blizzard of funny looking pop-ups and failed miserably. Then I saw the funny looking two posts from Sorted, thought "poor bloke" as I noted that it was anything but sorted and put a white towel on top of a pole and walked round the house waving it as I surrendered trying to get inspiration and sympathy. None was available and I felt Terrible for being so b-a-a-a-a-d and did feel very sheepish. Hope you now feel better ...fffs. Now that you have suggested a refresh I am over the moon. Now why did I not think of that?...eh?

It's my opinion that if he transfers Tokely the psychological effect will virtually assure the relegation of the team.

Experiencing slow access on headings, links and posts. Resulting in duplicate to quadruplicate postings. Using right click with "OPEN" where acceptable seems to speed it all up however in most cases. After a delay of 90 seconds recently, in the case of attempting to post but not being able to us the right click option, I just closed it down without result. Yesterday, and previously, my attempts to access the ICT Online home webpage have sometimes been met with a red warning--presumably the cloudflare thingy. There was a very small link on the cloud- adviser to click on to get in and this did work after I clicked it. The only question on this one that I would raise is why are regular posters with a long site record the target of the cloud security thing? Would the creation of an "exceptions" list of posters in good standing for Mr Cloud solve the problem?
