Stripes or Block Coloured Shirts
The white strip looks very sharp and crisp. The black one just classy.

What is the secret?
He also learned from other peoples' mistakes. At Dundee United , for example, he bit off more than he could chew in so far as the situation there appeared to be very unstable with unwilling (or demoralised) players abounding on big salaries. And the swirling eddies of discontent , including the twirling Eddie Grocer, was too much for him to sort out all at once. He also came back to ICT at a propitious time , despite the controversy, since ICT were ripe for an upward surge and needed that steady guiding hand on the park from Brew after losing Dodds I think. At ICT, in contrast to Dundee United I feel he was looked upon as a possible saviour whereas at Dundee United he was looked upon as a Messiah -- i.e. all things to all people. Messiahs outrank Saviours in the religious scheme of things and therefore are not so frenetic but more passive--which means that his role at ICT will now be more semi-permanent than usual and he will be more passively active, rather than actively passive. I think. :015:

Richie.......
This is a no-brainer. There but for the grace of God go I! And I don't agree with the opinion that he brought the club into disrepute. After all, this is his personal life, and all he hurt was himself. He did not slander the club or anyone in it, he did not steal or rob the club of anything. And his standard of football does not show any significant reduction does it in which case surely he is giving the club value for his wages? He admitted the default honestly and faced up to the consequences. Good man Currently, 100% support until further notice. :022:

Thanks for the Falkirk clip--for us overseas it is like throwing a dog a bone. I was reading the texting for the Killie match this morning. A bit slow going. :008:

Marius Niculae
Frank Kelly speaking ,I would like the broken record turfed out. He sounds like a very talented player so why not just say...."C.mon Marius, you can do it" and give the man a reasonable chance to get a goal or two. I suppose if ICT continue to win, no matter who scores, the naysayers will quieten down anyway. :023:

Anyone know a good CLairvoyant ?
It's been so long since I wore won that to tell you the truth sir I can't remember how to spell it. Anyway, a rose by any other spellning is still a semmit. I can see that there are some anti-semmitic persons on here. Please keep religion out of this would you ..Sniff. Personally speaking I am a monastic agnostic. Now I am totally ready to semmit this by clicking post. :015:

Big thanks to Ross County, feeder club
If Barrowman is that good maybe we could borrrowhimman. As for Cowie the catch phrase is "he is a very hard worker"-= Remember if you want something done give it to a busy man. :023:

Scotty If the team keeps this up do you think that the BBC will relent and allow all four of us here in Canadaland to get to listen too? :016:

ICT -V- GRETNA - Matchnight Thread
Sounds like there was a right stramash in the stand but Gringo Jnr handled his words so carefully that I was left bemused and confused--same old, same old, poor old Pimple --what on earth did happen ? Gringo Jnr did a very good report, quite professional and descriptive--he is my MOM. LOL :002:

Pitch invader today...
If the boy was a constant repeat offender maybe there would be some justification , but otherwise a lifetme ban is completely idiotic for a young boy. Thousands of pounds fines for a wee boy running around in a fit of eupohrioa ??? Are you serious? Talk about using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Common sense must prevail here. :018:

ICT -V- HEARTS - Matchday Thread
Well , (Canajins may always say "eh" after a comment but SP starts off by saying "well") I have really enjoyed reading every match report on the internet and from the News links on here. It's a very nice feeling to get a well-deserved win at last and in such a spectacular fashion. nAhhh --like a smoothy glass of wine.. :003: Some of the comments on this thread are fascinating. Cowie turning out so well, McGuire somewhat volatile, being mouthie and all ,but appears to be filling a gap nicely, Tokely taking the initiative and spreading panic with his surging runs into enemy territory, Blackie also came on to a game and controlling his temper well and of course no need to say anything about Brew--same old, same old, if anything at all. Niculae is now fitting/settling in (?) but since he was hired as a striker and hitherto has not struck much of anything what a novel idea to play him back a bit in midfield with the capability of spraying pinpoint passes to the likes of Dennis and Brew or even Cowie if he can get up.Barry playing hard but I am just a wee bit uncertain as to what Morgan is supposed to be achieving and where exactly he is playing--the commentary today from the BBC hardly seemed to mention his presence let alone his impact. And Fraser acquitting himself well and getting lots of experience whilst his predecessor Mark Brown sits on the sidelines with a big paypacket but relatively anonymous due to his inactivity which cannot be very inspiring for him I am sure. In short this is a very encouraging thread ---and juncture (or turning point as Brew says on ther BBC interview) ---so hopefully the climb will now start and with a few good wins under our belt the panic button can once again be put back into the cupboard since surely no future year can start so badly as this one. Oh I really must thank the BBC too on this thread (tongue in cheek though) for actually broadcasting a commentary from Tulloch Caledonian stadium despite the fact that their Sportsound site did not even have the customary link to the broadcast which I fanally found under the words SPL. sigh! :029: Charles can't you finally sort out the Beeb for us poor overseas fellas? :016:

Internet Footie??
Oh that is nice--I was in the middle of replying to your post and the complete site simply disappeared. :33: Anyway, I understand your predicament and agree your way is prudent. ICT should allow some form of streaming to overseas listeners and I would subscribe, preferably to ICT so that they could get the revenue, if it was made available. What the powers that be seem to not comprehend is that not only people like me would find it and access it since there are so many European fans in Vancouver and Toronto that are starved of soccer that they would be interested as well I am sure. When I get a moment I am going to write to the ICT Board about this. We can't get video and we can't get audio now for virtually any matches and frankly I am fed up and dispirited about it. :009:

Anyone know a good CLairvoyant ?
The spell checker has good reviews--go to www.iespell.com and check it out. It offers several dictionaries as the default. Current default is Merriams. I like it for the right click feature and the fact that it scans all the text at once. SP :011:

Anyone know a good CLairvoyant ?
My goodness, are we now featuring Ian Black's wee 15 year-old brother in his wee semmet? And I have found a new free spellchecker that works a treat on emails, blogs and forums-- it came up dutifully with "semmet". LOL. All you do is install, right click & :clapping select from menu as to option (e.g .spell check) and click. :clapping03:

Internet Footie??
Caley D--what exactly do you mean by the words "not a media partner"? If we find the offering of one of the "media partners" is not worth watching are we not allowed to say their name either? Sorry, I just don't understand this. If they are as bad as I have experienced why would anyone want them to be a media partner and therefore if using their name to warn others of their activities is not a good thing then what is the point of this thread? In addition, since the name of livefooty.com appears to have disappeared off the raider completely ,which is a good thing, what objection do you have to showing that name? :024:

Man City exile needs new team
Welcome Mr newcomer. You seem chatty enough . Good! Be nonchalant, smiling, nice to Moderators and IHE (when he is a good boy :002:) , be prepared to be seduced by ICT and all things blue even without your really noticing it until it is too late, get controversial over a period but not too quickly, look out for and be respectful to Pimples and other older personages such as Jock Watt in Australia.... and you'll do fine. Oh, and before I forget, read the ICT history assiduously --get's you up-to-date an' all... :004: Did I do well Jock? :016:
