  1. Erm, wasn't it a tangle between Kirk and Gillet?
  2. The red card for Kompany was fully justified. I don't know why it has generated so much debate.

Good deal for United nabbing him. I would have liked to see us going for him but to be honest if it came down to a choice between ICT and Dundee United you would have to think he would chose United.
  4. I wouldn't mind playing Peterhead once they get past Celtic.
  5. And one they can barely fill! 1,600 turned up today. Let's crack on with a fourth stand asap lads!
  6. Yeah I agree with that. He was certainly solid enough defensively like I say I just wish he would have a wee think before he blooters it forward! That said, it is also up to his team mates to offer him an option to doing this. We lacked creativity badly in the middle of the pitch and our only outlet out wide was Hayes. It was a game that saw very few chances for us and that is something that must be addressed urgently.
  7. I'm going to piss into the wind with this one but I wasn't overly impressed with Golabart. He made some well timed tackles but his distribution from the back was extremely poor. I lost count of the number of aimless punts forward he attempted with a number in the second half sailing out for goal kicks to Dunfermline. Doesn't seem to like a simple pass! There is no such rule. It's the denial of a goal / an obvious goal scoring opportunity that Gillet will have been sent off for.
  8. A fairer result would have been both those teams losing today in what was a desperately poor game of football. I can't be bothered typing much about that game because it was so bad so I'll keep this brief. Not sure what happened with the Gillet sending off but it looked like a fluffed clearence by Tuffey and Gillet pulled down the Dunfermline player as he was heading goalwards. Maybe the highlights will clear it up. The resultant free kick was smashed goalwards but Tuffey blocked it however Barrowman dispatched the ball on the rebound but there were huge claims for offside from our guys. After this I expected Dunfermline to pick us off on the counter attack but they seemed more interested in timewasting and feigning injury. It was like watching Hamilton all over again! A monumental balls up by Chris Smith (fresh air kick at a pass back) let Hayes in to grab an equaliser for us right at the end of the six minutes of injury time which, I assume, were added because of Dunfermlines aforementioned timewasting. Goals aside I genuinely cannot think of much else that happened in the game but it was atrocious for large parts. Crowd was 1,600 odd and I do not blame those who stayed away today. They missed absolutely nothing and saved themselves about £15 (at least) by not going.
  9. Just trolling...
  10. Because we don't need one. Aesthetics alone isn't a good enough reason to build a stand.

Davies was only due to be here until January and if Wolves have been impressed with what they have seen from him whilst he has been at ICT and want to try him at a higher level then that's up to them as he's their player. If they have been able to fix up a deal at another club in League 1 or whatever they see as a higher standard then it makes sense for him to be sent there to continue to improve his game. Unfortunately, he owes us no loyalty and Wolves don't owe us anything either.
  12. It deeply concerns me that there are people who are this stupid. https://twitter.com/...922075034255361 https://twitter.com/...923180807987201 Anyway, if this little racist is to be believed then apparently police are involved in the matter but that seems to be based on the Tweet from Stewart Regan (final link). https://twitter.com/...918460425015296 As above, it seems that Stewart Regan (Chief Executive of the Scottish Football Association) got involved too. https://twitter.com/...898538256957442

Really gutted about this. He was a huge presence for us on the pitch. I don't think we currently have a suitable replacement for him but there's a few weeks until the end of January so there's a chance we can get someone in.
  14. Out of interest here is the somewhat bizarre response I received from Twitter regarding the racial abuse of Gregory Tade.
  15. I reported the comment to Twitter and hopefully others did as well. I am sure I read on P & B that some Pars fans had been banned from East End Park due to racist chants / taunts aimed at opposition players.

    Oh balls.

Any news on his deal being extended?
  18. I winch every time I see that O'Hanlon challenge. It was absolutely disgusting. Shame you cannot get retrospective red cards.

Wonder how Barrowman is getting on...
  20. I think it might be. Lindlays Catering if I mind right does both the Dundee clubs.
  21. That was an awful game. I can't really think of anything that happened in the first half of the game. Aberdeens long throws were causing some problems but I can't remember any clear cut chances for either team. Second half and Aberdeen suddenly decided to stop defending corners. The first one was a relatively simple inswinger from Hayes which found Golabart to flick home. Not sure what happened with the second but an outswinging corner from Hayes seemed to cause confusion in the box and Tade poked the lose ball home. Poor tracking from Cox allowed Milson some space on the Aberdeen left and his ball in fizzed across goal and was tucked away by Fallon. Queue lots of worried ICT fans chewing their finger nails off for the final 10 minutes or so but we held on to take a vital three points. Really not much to talk about in terms of the game which was low on quality but I think we edged it (just). Healthy Aberdeen support through as well. Would say at least 1,800 fans made it through. Mackie however provided proved yet again that he is a completely classless prick after aiming a sly kick at Golabart whilst the referee looked away and then, after the whistle had already gone, launching himself into a rash challenge on the same player (I think). Completely needless and showed just how little class the guy has. Good performances for ICT from Golabart, Davies and Hayes. Huge game against Hibs on Wednesday (?) now. Hopefully we can win back to back games for the first time in, well, forever.
  22. I'm pretty sure we've sold out against Aberdeen before or at least come close to. Sure the fixture doesn't have the same attraction as it did in our first few seasons in the SPL but it's definitely been all ticket previously. Happy to be corrected though.
  23. Good old Sun! "A source said..."
  24. Read in the P & J it was his anterior cruciate ligament that's gone. Quite incredible injury to sustain.
