Falkirk Roll Call
Nah the Megabus would be Aberdeen - Dundee - Perth - Edinbugh. Unless there is a Citylink one on the go somewhere. Will have a gander. No wonder people don't use public transport!

Falkirk Roll Call
Proof that the rail service in this country is beyond idiotic. "Cheap" advance single from Aberdeen to Falkirk is about ?22. Knowing that you can get even cheaper tickets by splitting your journey up on some routes (e.g. Glasgow - Perth - Dundee) I tried to single for Aberdeen to Stirling. Same type of ticket would cost me ?30 odd Probably cheaper getting an Advance Single to Edinburgh then heading to Falkirk from there!

Considering it. Trying to think of the best way to get there from Aberdeen. Train surely...?

Kids For A Quid Offer
Seemed to be a good take up on it though it did lead to a huge rise in a very high pitched "CALEY! CALEY!" every few minutes which was funny but also to be commended However, a few of us in the North Stand found that our Season Ticket seats had been sold to the PATG punters which was a bit odd. Any one else have to (politely) ask someone if they wouldn't mind moving? Bah humbug etc.

Butcher Trying To Tempt Black?
Players like Kingston are likely to be away come the end of the season (they can't afford to keep him on ?15k per week [allegedly]) so Black may well get more of a chance than some think. I don't think ICT can offer him anything he couldn't get or better at Hearts. He wants to go there but in the meantime he wants to help ICT out and keep us up. Can't ask for more than that.

Accomodation For Aberdeen Game 11th Apri
There's loads of B & Bs along King Street and places like Premier Travel Inn and all that stuff. There is one Travel Inn / Lodge on West North Street about a 10 - 15 minute walk from Pittodrie and 5 - 10 minutes from the station. Walk along King Street and it's down on your left on the right hand side. To get to Pittodrie you just need to walk along King Street and it's down on your right if you head along Merkland Road East or Pittodrie Street. If you want you can get a 1, 2 or a 13 bus from King Street opposite the East Neuk Pub (). A 14 you will need to catch on Union Street near Archie Simpsons but this drops you right off the back of Pittodrie so is somewhat more direct. There are other travel lodge style places on Union Street. There is Holiday Inn Express or whatever they are called are found towards the top end of Union Street on Chapel Street. Would be a fair walk from the train station (~ 20 minutes) and a bus to the game (same buses as before) but you could walk along Union Street popping into pubs on the way down. There is another Travel Inn type place on Bridge Street which is right next to the station and more centrally based than the other two so all the pubs are in easy reach. the one major drawback of this place is you will get a lot of noise at night with Aberdeens best* nighclub a stones through away. Not a problem if you might be out yourself but worth bearing in mind. Can easy walk to the stadium from here as well but if you want a bus it's the same as before. As for pubs, there are plenty to choose from. Particularly on Belmont Street (just off Union Street). Loads of bars / pubs there. Ma Camerons, Old School House, Triple Kirks, Wild Boar, Siberia, Slains Castle etc. Archies (a Weatherspoons pub), Illicit Still and The Tilted Wig are at the bottom end of Union Street before it swings round onto King Street. If you are at the top end of Union Street you have Justice Mill (another Spoons affair), Monkey House, Sports Bar whatever Icis is called nowadays amongst others. The Prince of Wales just off correction Wynd might be worth a quick visit and I think there are a couple of pubs on The Green but I have never been there myself. The Bobbin is about 5 minutes from Pittodrie but always seems to be understaffed so bulk buy your drinks if you get served!

Russel Duncan (merged)
Duncan was just as bad as Pressley and Barr.

Ian Black
Black would be stupid to change his mind and stay with ICT.

Benitez Set To Quit?
A poster on P & B noted that there has been a 17 point swing between Liverpool and Man United since "Rafa's Rant". That is incredible!

Ict -v- Hibs : Matchday Thread
Is this the through ball to Johansson that he placed wide of the post? If so I was pretty certain that Djebi Zadi played him onside. Just.

Dougie Imrie
A decent enough article and one that summed up the newfound spirit at ICT since Butcher came in. Leckie highlighting the difference between Imrie and Riordan was interesting mainly because I wondered how many others had seen Deeks half baked attempt at controlling the football before turning to whinge at anyone in a green shirt nearby. Comedy gold from one of the biggest wastes of talent in the Scottish game. Then look at Imrie. Sure he might not have the skill Riordan might have been he shows so much determination and willingness to run I would imagine most folk would happily have him over Riordan in any team they supported.

Djebi-zadi
:thumb04: He was deployed on the left hand side of midfield earlier this season.

Djebi-zadi
Djebi Zadi is a bizarre one. I realise saying this will probably cause a lot of abusive postings but I honestly think he is a terrible excuse for a footballer. He is so unpredictable and you just don't know what he is going to do next but it is that unpredictability that we are loving right now and for that he can only be praised. A lot of our games from now till the end of the season are going to won with determination and drive not with the odd flash of brilliance. For me he was summed up yesterday when he was running down the left touchline in the first half and, under no pressure whatsoever, passed the ball out for a throw in to Hibs :thumb04: But then in the second half he displayed Tokely - esque skill to bullet past half the Hibs side and launch a counter attack by driving through the entire Hibs midfield What he lacks in skill, control and ability he more than makes up for in commitment and boundless energy. He had me in stitches yesterday particularly with his hilarious crossed ball that went out for a throw in in the second half (better only by Imries free kick). Well done Lionel :018:

Result V Hibs
Just to quickly get an idea of what supporters think the outcome will be tomorrow. Nothing to in depth required like guessing crowd figures and first goal scorers. Just simply a chance to see what everyone else is thinking.

Really? I didn't know that but thanks for clearing that up. Don't see how that is weird to be honest though.
