The Fight
I agree. I thought we were really poor in places yesterday but what was very encouraging was that there was so much more effort from the guys in previous weeks and I think that was really appreciate by the fans :003:

ICT -V- Aberdeen : Matchday Thread
They do say a minimum of 4 minutes stoppage time sadly. However if there were to only be four minutes then the official should blow when that time is up and not to see if anything happens from any kind of attacking play. If that's what MacDonald did who knows. You say Caley fans surrounded the referee? :confused02:

The Fight
**** right it's back. Especially amongst the Aberdeen fans brawling in Coach A of the 18:08 Inverness - Aberdeen service last night.

The Duncan is a divot thread
I don't have a problem with players antagonizing the crowd, to an extent anyway. ****, half of the goal celebrations you see are done to antagonize crowds! If as you say Duncans sole course of action was hands up in the air and this riled the Aberdeen fans and players then why was Nicholson not booked for a similar "hands/arms up" gesture when he equalised for Aberdeen? Personally I don't have a huge problem with either aside from the inconsistency shown from MacDonald. However, given what Kencar has said concerning the highlights there might be more to Duncans celebration than simply raising his hands. Hopefully they also caught him kicking the ball away as well. Calderwood has said the sending off galvanised his team. I think it also galvanised us to a large extent as well.

I'm being 100% serious - I think you are on the wind up with your post. I'm giving you my opinion as I see it. Apologies if you feel that it is a bit extreme but I don't feel it is because I cannot honestly believe that you think that: [li] Duncan holding his hands aloft warrants a yellow card[/li] [li]He was lucky not to be arrested[/li] It's outrageous to suggest that for holding his hands up to celebrate a goal Duncan deserved to be arrested!!

Todays Attedance
I'm not talking about just this season though. There has been a continuing decrease in the attendances in games against Aberdeen in Inverness with the Home support getting smaller each time. Last season the Monday night game, on the TV on a cold November night, drew more fans. Indeed todays game was some 1,800 down on the similar fixture only a couple of seasons ago. It's just a bit sad to see the numbers drop so much. For us maybe. Not for Aberdeen. But that ties in with what I've said above really :003: Hold on a minute - nothing to play for? First win against Aberdeen in a competitive game counts as nothing to play for?

Are you on the wind up? You mean he seriously put his hands in the air? Wow, that is criminal Barry Wilson and/or Mark McCulloch ran alongside the entire length of the main stand with their hand cupped to their ear when they scored for Livi against us. Robson loves "getting it right up us" when he scored for United. I bet he would do the same if he scored for Celtic. Sure we wouldn't be best pleased but it's nothing out of the ordinary. Indeed when Duncan scored for us against United in the Cup he did much the same celebration and wasn't cautioned. It was the reaction of the Aberdeen fans and that greeting twat McNamara that got Duncan booked. And to top it all off you think he was lucky not be arrested - comedy stuff!

Todays Attedance
Nearly 2,000 lower than previous games against Aberdeen and even lower than the Monday night game(s). Is it cost? Brewster/team performance? Novelty of the SPL wearing off? Very disappointing whatever the reason :007:

The Duncan is a divot thread
He was booked after he emerged. Thing is, given half the Aberdeen players went in with him and most were on yellows should they also have received cautions and thus reds? MacDonald is a garbage official.

The Duncan is a divot thread
You know what football fans are like. They'll call a player every name under the sun but as soon as the player turns round and gives anything back the fans run to the police wanting him arrested.

The Duncan is a divot thread
Just wondering, how much did Duncan "wind up" opposition fans? Maybe the highlights will show it but all I saw was him jumping in the air and punching the air as well in front of them. If he got booked for this then poor show from MacDonald who bottled booking Nicholson for the heinous crime of spreading his arms in front of the ICT fans and cupping his hand to his ear. Personally I think either both players should have been booked or neither.

Conceding the early goal probably wouldn't have helped matters :004:

Conratulations Section G.........
No offence to the guys in Section G but I barely heard you 2 sections along. Odd. The Aberdeen fans were really good in spells. Away games are still where the atmosphere is at.

What happens next season????
I seem to mind Hamilton fans on P & B saying that they would erect temporary stands like ours. But they would look to make them permanent structures in the future. Unlike us.

Time to choose?
I can't really choose an alternate "feed" while at the game AFAIK. I do find it quite interesting hearing just how many players they get muddled up during the 90 minutes though.

Time to choose?
I'll probably be getting worked up over Brian Irvines shocking anti ICT comments on the radio.

Are You Still Behind Brewster?
Really? I was sure he played more than that. Scored about 7 goals in 9 games or something? I'll need to have a look at that one. He seems to me to be one of these players that needs a really good run in the team to get going. None of these fleeting appearences that he is getting recently. Just had a look at the BBC site and I think I am thinking of the time around September/October when Wyness was in amongst the goals and playing regularly. That wasn't our best period of the season but we had some good results in there as well.
-
Are You Still Behind Brewster?
Had to pick up on this and must point out that when we were on our good run Wyness was an integral part of the team.

Are You Still Behind Brewster?
I see Brewster and Savage have voted.

Are You Still Behind Brewster?
I know we have a wealth of Brewster threads but I wanted to see just how many posters on here are or aren't behind Craig Brewster as manager of ICT. Don't need to go into any kind of heated or in depth discussion as this is being covered on threads elsewhere but a simple yes or no in this poll might show just what the fans (on this site at least) are feeling given the current state of affairs. [li]You will need to vote before you see the results of the poll. [/li] [li]You can change your vote if you wish.[/li] Happy voting! :003:

Why 3.05? Why not just 3.00? :004:

Whilst I agree maybe a player saying they aren't happy under *your* regime is disrespectful enough?

ICT v The Dons - Saturday 29 March
I've been feeling like that as well recently. However it's starting to change a wee bit now. I have to get one of the first trains through to Inverness as all the Aberdeen fans have pinched the APEX tickets for the usual one I go on. There is also some dribble in the Evening Express that usually riles me up prior to the game as well so still got that to look forward to.

Positives from this season (if any)
I was able to buy a sausage roll at the ground for once the other weekend.
