  1. Hagi as Player/director?
  2. Aye the transfers of Rankin and Cowie were a huge secret that no one else knew of How did Lambert and Hendry get on as ICT managers? :003:
  3. Clearly Miko has been having a few words with Elliot and Kingston...
  4. I could see from the North Stand that Elliot had dived. He is a big headed goon anyway. Wish someone had flattened him on the pitch.
  5. Never in a million years was that the best Hearts performance up here. Aye, of course it was Frail who took him of. He's not a puppet or anything. But you are right, he was destroying Tokely and Cowie. he had one brilliant piece of skill that saw him take out both players and sprint off towards goal. We easily deserved that win. Hearts had a fair bit of the ball but lets be honest, we were their best chances in the first half with the o.g. and Duncans fantastic diving header past his own post. They had that Kingston free kick that hit the post, well won I might add, but aside from that that I think we more than held our own and had the better of the game. Good to see Wyness so lethal from 1 inch but he was creative as always I thought. Niculae was decent enough though he had a bit of an unsavoury incident with Neilson when he trod on the back of his head accidentally. Black and Cowie were excellent yesterday. Our passing out of defence was mince but I didn't think they were too bad overall.
  6. Why have the put a load of woodboard up behind the "Singing Section"?
  7. Who is Stewart Paterson?
  8. Black was superb yesterday. His passing and creativity were a joy to watch. He got stuck in as well winning the ball back on almost every occasion he went in for a challenge.
  9. And that has really helped. Additionally, perhaps merits a separate thread, but I am sure I am not the only one to notice sections of the Hearts support standing throughout the game with no interference from stewards. Even when they went and stood amongst them.
  10. Some banter really does age badly...
  11. Again, guessing here, I don't think it's simply a case of turn up and douse the building with water. I think they need to ***** the ferocity/intensity of the fire, ease of access, where they should actually try and put the fire out from etc. All of these of course take time and will have a huge bearing on whether a fire can be put out. But I do like a good conspiracy theory as well!
  12. I will start by saying I have no idea how the Fire Service operate when they get to a scene like that but I guess they would have had to have secured the area around the building and probably checked inside for anyone before they could even turn the hoses on.
  13. That said, I doubt he would like the interference from higher up at Madrid given what's been going on at Chelski.
  14. Whichever one of Schuster Rijkaard gets sacked first is where I would expect him to end up. Until the odd announcement this morning of Avram Grant taking up the position as Head Coach I thought someone like Capello might have been in there.

    Grrr

The Rangers shop in the Eastgate has long since gone. It moved into the "High Street" (I don't know the actual name of the street it was on). I mind one day a bunch of ICT fans were abusing Rangers fans in the store. The locally renowned BENI were blamed for it :015: Now Rangers sell their kits and other bits and bobs through JJB.
  16. Except it doesn't really.
  17. Shame then that their fans decided to wheel out the Nazi saltues last night.
  18. Gutted to see him leave. I loved his interviews after games - always good for a laugh! He's never wanted Sheva or Ballack there. Can't help but see shades of Hearts andtheir antics in all of this...

    Poor Inverness

Just about half way to the number of points we finished above you 2 season ago then :003: Will be nice for you to finish above us for a change if that's how things turn out - I can see why you are getting so excited :003:
  20. A lot was being made of his dive to win a penalty the other week at Hampden and if he would get booed back in Scotland. It might have been forgotten about now because of the end result of that game and the win against France but I suspect some folk will still boo the lad. Will you be doing partaking in a spot of "booniging"?
  21. I hope not as we'd have Colin Hendry as manager
  22. Get it right up you Strachan.
  23. New top with names - looks daft. New top without names - looks brilliant.
  24. Cowie has been very impressive. A real box to box midfielder and seems to have a good shot on him as well. Indeed, I see that JR was on the bench at the weekend. Could Cowies good form be a reason for JR not getting into the team? We do have a plethora of midfielders at the club of course.
