  1. There is something on the club website but I am surprised that neither Facebook or Twitter have an update linking to this story. I know it's not much but those sites are modern day communication methods. To neglect them is strange especially when we have been so quick to make use of them in the past. I sympathise with the club to a degree on your other point as you rightly point out there was little bounce from the cup win but I do wonder what was done to capitalise on it? I can't recall if the club did anything to build on that success or not? Certainly there was a good crowd at the Astra tie in Inverness which was great to see but league games didn't really see much improvement crowd wise which was a real shame. That's really poor indeed.
  2. Sadly I'd imagine those clubs have a bigger average attendance than us as Championship clubs.
  3. Two of the clubs main communication channels, Twitter and Facebook, have been neglected in recent weeks (I've not checked this morning but last night neither were carrying news of the Draper story). It seems that not just communication with fans but modern day communication with the fans is something that those upstairs at the club have yet to grasp.
  4. No one is saying there aren't faults on the part of the board / management. That's obvious. But you're making out like Draper has been hard done by when he clearly hasn't. He was one of the top earners at the club and one a long term deal compared to most and was held in high regard by the management. Contrast that to someone like OFW who has been completely frozen out at the club. Instead of showing some loyalty and trying to help get the club back up to the Premiership, similar to Foran, Rooney etc in 09/10 but instead he's forced a move to our local rivals and folk are understandably unhappy about it. I see no reason whatsoever to wish the guy well in the future and he's fair game for criticism for this move.
  5. Was there not also meant to be some sort of fans / players / managers event before the season started? That seems to have gone quiet.
  6. Couple of things missing - letting players find out via Twitter (Meekings) or the papers (McNaughton) that they weren't getting new contracts and some laughable attempts at covering up our mistakes over the summer. I'm sure Duncan Shearer will have been delighted to have an U12 tournament named after him as he signed on.
  7. The absolute state of some of our fans being happy for Draper. He's moved to our rivals. Even worse he's forced a move to our rivals by demanding a transfer. At a time when you wanted the leaders in the team to take the bull by the horns and try and lead the team to something resembling a promotion fight he's jumped ship to Ross County of all teams. and folk say they're happy for him!? Aye, okay then. As renegade says it's not like he was struggling financially or anything unless he's been taking gambling tips from Lewis Horner. As far as I'm concerned, thanks for your effort for the last few years but that's it. I don't wish him well at all. Can't help but feel if the board showed some balls and punted Foran after Accies romped to that 3-0 win we might not be in this situation.
  8. If that's true that absolutely pathetic I see the club aren't bothering to update Facebook or Twitter with this news either. Might explain a lot.
  9. Could even be argued that wasn't even Butchers last team given the events of that day!
  10. Thought he was decent against United but I can't remember how he played against Forfar
  11. Lack of commitment from Draper on Saturday? I must have imagined him battering through United players to win back lost balls. I agree he's not been at his best over the last few months but honestly who in an ICT shirt has been? Last season was utterly farcical for so many reasons and I would be wary of writing off a players importance to us based on what was one of the most chaotic periods in our recent history.
  12. I think there was just no one available to do updates.
  13. Seems to be a lot of chat on Twitter. That's the only "source" at present. Selling the guy to County is bad enough but I had hoped for more than £100,000.
  14. Because I don't like the idea of the competitiveness of the Highland League being diluted for us to develop our younger players. I would be furious if we found ourselves in a position where we were playing Rangers B in League One and I can't imagine ICT would be too happy at that either especially if it prevented them from getting promoted.
  15. Disappointing result for us obviously. United didn't seem to threaten much unless it was on the back of an error by our defence, and there was a few of them, or a long ball over the top for McMullan to chase. He gave Elsdon a torrid time. We looked really shaky at the back throughout the game best exemplified by our poor defending for the United goal. Instead of booting the ball into touch Elsdon dallied on the touchline and McMullan nipped in and sprinted for goal. After a few ricochets in the box McMullan seized on the loose ball and a lunging Mckay challenge brought him down after he had dinked the ball over the ICT defender. A clear penalty and a stupid challenge to make. Easily converted by the United player. After that United sat in for long periods challenging us to break them down whilst looking to hit on the break. Their best chance to grab a second game when another mix up in the ICT defence let in Stanton (I think) but with Ridgers sprawled on the ground and an open goal to aim for he lifted a shot over the bar. Before and after this ICT dominated without ever really making Lewis work hard. We had plenty of "half chances" but our final ball or shot was lacking in any real quality. Whislt it was good to see us match United for long spells it was disappointing to see how little we created. As others have noted it's a similar story to the League Cup games we have witnessed so far. Interesting to see Robbo abandon the 4-4-2 he had used for the League Cup games and go with a 4-1-4-1, Vigurs playing in front of the defence and Baird on the right. Some folk seem to be saying Polworth was playing on the wing. Didn't seem that way to me. Worth persevering for another game or two perhaps but maybe not with Baird in that slightly withdrawn role on the right side. Vigurs and Calder were our best players until the latter was wiped out by Toshney in the second half.
  16. Anyone who genuinely thought we wouldn't sell him to County was kidding themselves. If the right offer comes in for the guy of course we would be letting him go, even if Fon Williams and Raven had moved on. That said, £100k is the least I would be wanting to get for the guy but we're not exactly adept at transfer negotiations.
  17. Ridgers Seedorf Mckay Warren Calder Vigurs Mulraney Draper Polworth Cooper Baird
  18. Odd that the Danny MacDonald announcement was made by email and on the club site but nothing on the Twitter account. Is Twitter banned pending the "formal investigation" ( ) into the smutty video issue?
  19. It was cancelled as everyone was heading to Belladrum.
  20. Foran for Hearts!
  21. I suspect caleyboy isn't going to like this...
  22. Quickly tallied it up: Cathro W5 D4 L13, 19 points from his 22 games. Foran W4 D8 L10, 20 points from the same 22 game period. Wow!
  23. The club is still tweeting about other things though it was just the match against Forfar that wasn't covered for some reason. Seems bizarre not to have some kind of update from the game.
  24. Seems to be some Twitter chat that Vigurs was getting some abuse off some fans yesterday and he responded with the wanker sign. No idea how true this is as the account that mentioned it has a propensity for almost seismic shifts in opinions and details about incidents so it might be worth taking with a pinch of salt.
  25. This surely has to come to a climax soon?
