Graeme Shinnie
It just goes to show the silly money that goes around in English football as Shinnie would surely command a similar fee as he is a more developed and complete player. One thing I would say is that with Shinnie going to Aberdeen , he will be guaranteed a game. MIght have got more money moving down south but would that have benefitted his career. The Hamilton player may get more money but will he play regularly or will he end up getting lost in the system and dropping down the leagues. West Ham could easily write off a million quid without any issues if that happens.

Team for County.
I would play Doran instead of Williams. Didn't think he deserved to be dropped for Hamilton game and always plays well against County.

Transfer Window approaching.
I certainly didn't see it coming - moving to the Championship, absolutely, but not to a club like Aberdeen. I don't think it's ludicrous to drop a player who doesn't want to be here. but we have already known for a few weeks that he would be leaving so would you have dropped him, or McKay as soon as they have said they were not signing a contract?.

Disgusting ICT 'fan' behaviour at Hamilton

Kilmarnock -V- Inverness CT
Am I the only one here who, far from wanting their bubble to burst, would like Aberdeen to win all but two games between now and the end of the season and, at last, break the tedious and damaging Glasgow stranglehold on the league title ? No. In all honestly, I would like to see Aberdeen win the title rather than Celtic. Even better would be ICT winning it but while I would truly love that to be the case, don't think it will happen. Until it is mathematically impossible however, keep believing!!

Transfer Window approaching.
I read as "there has not been as much interest in my player as I hoped so I'll make it look like there has". If there was genuinely a huge amount of interest, I think the agent would not be sating this. Agents are just leeches taking monet out of the game and putting nothing back in.

Team for New Years day.
Don't get this with the stick Doran got on Sunday. He wasn't at his best but was by no means the worst on the pitch and to say he was a nonentity is ridiculous. He poses an attacking threat from either wing and is a creative player but only if he gets the ball which wasn't always the case on Sunday.

Inverness CT -V- Aberdeen
While there might be some truth in that, three consecutive defeats without scoring a single goal has to be down to more than not just getting a break. No need for despair just yet but if we come away from Dingwall on Thursday without at least a point things will be starting to look a bit grim. I agree

Inverness CT -V- Aberdeen
A lot of unjustified negativity on here after the game. Aberdeen probably created 2 clear chances and took one. Doubt if Brill had a save of note to make while their goalkeeper ceratinly had at least 4/5 good saves to keep Aberdeen in the game. We were unlucky yesterday, on another day we could have won easily but just don't seem to be getting a break just now.

Club shop
I think the opening hours need to be reviewed and publicised better nrxt year. I am sure if that had been done, the shop might have done quite a bit of business. Alternatively, as they have sometimes done before, could they have taken a stall in the Eastgate Centre which was mobbed on Saturday and attracted some passing trade. Not having a go at the club but something to think about for next year perhaps?.

How much should we really be paying?
?????? A post earlier on said that you can't do better than £15 return but it turns out you can. The crux of the matter is though, people can talk about breaking even etc. all they like, but for the price we pay, do we really see a standard of football that justifies it? I wonder how many people would like to come to more ICT games, but have simply been priced out by their own club. If prices keep going up, there'll probably be many more as time goes on. But you have to break even to sustain a team and provide the infrastructure that supports it. I don't think anyone could say we pay our players a fortune so difficult to see how we could reduce ticket prices and maintain the current standard of football. I simply do not believe the cost of attending games is as big a factor as people think but the fact that the number of games that are now on TV and people watch at home or in the pub is killing the game as people get out of the habit of attending. Do you really think that if we reduced prices to £15, gates would suddenly jump?. I hoinestly do not think that is the case.

Shinnie for Scotland
I have to disagree. Mulgrew is not an international left back, or central defender, Wallace is playing in a lower league and Whittaker has had some suspect displays at left back. Shinnie deserves to be in the squad, not calling on him to start but should be part of the squad.

Inverness CT -V- Hamilton
People are frustrated by the inconsistency. That's why there are so many negative comments about his performance I suspect. That's it in a nutshell. On another day, he would have booked a lot more players. He also appears to not understand what constitutes a foul at times. All in all, he is a dreadful referee and one slightly better game than the previous ones he has had up here does not make it better.

ST Holder Offer : Friends for a Fiver
Not sure that buying a season ticket does actually cost the club revenue. Yes it is cheaper than pay at the gate over the season but you are provding substantial amounts of income to the club at a time when they have little revenue coming in and they also know that they have a set level of income before the season starts. To me, everyone who attends is a fan whether they are a season ticket holder or not and I for one do not see myself as spuerior because i have a season ticket. It is very sad if fans are following this route of I'm better than you because (fill in whether season ticket holder or pay at the gate).

What is it with some fans who refuse to go and back their team at certain grounds. Never understood that.

Inverness CT -V- Ross County
While not totally convinced with the syle of play that Yogi is trying to introduce, and it is what many have been calling for over the years rather than hoofs up the park, it is a bit disappointing to hear groans/maons and comments when we do keep possesion of the ball. Keeping possession of the ball is surely what we need to do rather than hoof it up the park and lose possession. Don't for one mininute think we hvae got the style of play correct yet but when it does work, it is good to watch. Not so sure we went to a plan B in the second hald but simply moved the ball quicker and played more expansive as opposed to narrow. That I think was the problem in the first half, no width so difficult to get forward and put pressure on County.

Aberdeen -V- Inverness CT
And how would this have prevented the two goals down to defensive errors today?? Had Warren not attempted a cushion headed backpass, the first goal could have been avoided. Without doubt Warren was trying to head the ball back but got it wrong. How that can be used as an example of passing the ball within our defence and causing errors as in stop passing the ball back, I simply do not know. That is what I was trying to say.

Low crowd today
Don't know if money is as big an issue as some people make out and how much would you have to reduce tickets by?. To my mind, a £5 reduction which is the minimum needed probably would still not generate sufficient fans so what then. When we have reduced prices before for cup ties, crowds have not increased so that is why I do not think pricing is such a big deal as is made out. However, probably a bigger reason is the league format which is just too boring and repetitive as it stands and needs to change to make things more attractive. As for improving the match day experience for fans, I just don't think the American/Canadian experience will work here. I have been at several baseball games in the States and while many fans make a day/night of it, just not convinced we have the same mentality here. Having said that, there are some simple things that we could do. Pricing and choice of catering have to be more keenly priced with better service. The choice of music played at the ground seems very random, perhaps if more rousing tunes were chosen or build up to a rousing tune before kick off might help increase the atmosphere. The club also needs a rousing song that the fans can identify with that signifies something to the fans. No easy solution but there are some simple ideas which could be tried.

Inverness CT -V- St Johnstone
Seems you cannot please all the people all of the time. While I will admit the new style of play isn't always working or exciting, it is generally starting to be effective. People have moaned for years about our style of play under Butcher but no matter what we do, fans still are not happy. You could see what the team were trying to do yesterday but the ball would simply not break for us in the first half. If anyone is saying our first goal was a punt up the park, all I can say is watch again and that was classic counter attacking football. Billy did not have his best game but some of that is down to him being out of sorts and some poor play by us when the final ball to him was poor. It was the most I have seen the team try to get him involved. As for Billy not being at the top of the scoring charts, all I can say is that other players are stepping up and scoring and, to be frank, as long as someone scores, don't care who it is. Probably classes as a happy clapper but with the on going complaining and constant negatives being highlighted about the teams performance, could this be contributing to poor crowds?. Getting a bit disillusioned with the negativity.

Ross County at home.
They are there as can be witnessed in the attendances for the bigger games such as Celtic, Aberdeen and County. The trick is getting these people along for games with hamilton, Kilmarnock etc. Don't know if the cllub has details of who these people are, and maybe the club do this now, but worth contacting these people with special offers, incentives to try and attract to more games?. Would 6 game season tickets, or something similar be an option to try?. Even Celtic Aberdeen and County crowds are going down. Less than 6000 at the Celtic game. A few year's ago that would have been over 7. but only looking for another 500 to make a significant impact on finances. The fans are there if we can somehow make it more attractive to attend.
