v Pars (home)
Definitely 442. Dodos has seen sense at last. Shaw the best player on the park by a country mile. Need a second goal though and probably would have had it but for a horrendous decision by the far side linesman for offside against Brooks.

2023/24 Season Tickets
I have to say that I had to phone the club as had a problem renewing my season ticket on line, now a senior citizen. Phone answered first time and problem sorted by a very friendly and efficient female staff member.

Scottish Cup Final build up
First point I agree with you. Your second point is hugely disappointing and condescending . I have worked for 47 years, and paid tax and NI for most of that and am still paying tax though now only working part time. A concessionary bus fare is about the only "perk" I use having claimed nothing in return so you ain't subsidising me. Not sure what more the club can do on the cup final but if more supporters turned, like they did for the Ayr game, maybe the club wouldn't be in such a difficult position financially. I'm not a happy clapper but some of the criticism of the club on here is just not warranted.

Play Off Decider
Did we deserve to lose, absolutely not, did we deserve to win, probably just about, should we have had a draw, most certainly. Poor team performance for most of the game with Allardice, Devine and Deas poor. Disagree with you Johndo on not changing the winning cup team as this game was made for Carson and Samuels as well but the tactical genius that is Billy Dodds got the team selection wrong again. This defeat is really hard to take as Ayr were poor as well and won't go any further in the play offs. They were there for the taking but we let ourselves down. I have to say that Ayr were also helped by poor officiating. Billy was clearly fouled in the build up to Ayrs second goal, as he was most of the game but that clown of a referee refused to give the fouls. Stand side linesman was also poor with debatable call for Ayr's first goal and also for Samuels goal as I'm convinced it came off an Ayr player.

Play Off Decider
We're playing poorly all over the pitch with Deas looking looking particularly error prone. Having said that, Ayr haven't really threatened. Goal looked offside from where I was sitting but officials are their usual poor self. How the ref missed a blatant hand ball by an Ayr player which led to him getting a shot on goal was unbelievable.

Countdown to Hampden (v Falkirk)
Ludicrous post. We should get as many tickets as we can sell. Cup finals are a different game so average league attendances shouldn't come into ir. How many times of Celtic's season ticket holders attended the Morton cup tie for example loo

Poll - Dodds contract extension
The problem with Dodds is that we have had mid season slumps this season and last which have potentially cost us the Championship. While injuries have played a part this season, Dodds was culpable on both occasions by not altering tactics or team selections until it was too late (for example the home win against Arbroath last season which then kick started our run to the play offs). I simply don't believe he can change things tactically when needed and that has cost us big time. We do need fresh blood at the club and Kellagher and Wilson need to go as well

Inverness CT -V- Arbroath 11th April
Disagree with the comments about Samuels. He was making good runs but not receiving the ball at the right time. A better cross from Henderson just on half time would have given Samuels a tap in. Think he does need to get a goal to boost his confidence but he played bis part last night.

Inverness CT -V- Arbroath 11th April
Comfortable win in the end against a poor Arbroath team. Poor refereeing again with Arbroath players trying to con the referee into giving fouls by screaming in agony and rolling about when tackled then getting up and running about as normal. Shaw got booked as a result of that. Thought Henderson's red card was a bit harsh and the ref was very quick to red card him.

Killie Cup Tie 10thMarch
There are only three real ways out of this. We get promoted so huge increase in revenues More people come to watch us on a permanent basis (many more) We have to go part time or hybrid full/part time None are very palatable and the first two probably unachievable this season. Only more support from the people of Inverness will prevent the third.

Killie Cup Tie 10thMarch
Nonsense Robert, Carson won the ball and Armstrong then rolled in agony. Within seconds, he was up and running again though. Minimal contact from Carson and a totally undeserved booking. Ref looked out of his depth at times.

Inverness CT -V- Queens Park - Sc Cup 4th Rnd
If anyone seriously thinks opening the North stand would have boosted the attendance, they are kidding themselves. I think there were certainly more than the 800 plus crowd announced but probably no more than a 1000/1200. The sad fact of life is that the people of Inverness just have no connection to the club and only attend for "big" games. We have our core of around 2000 fans but rarely does that increase. Even Dunfermline and Falkirk in the league below us will get better crowds than us. How we solve the conundrum of getting more people to attend, I don't know but it does strike me that a lot of posters on here and Pie and Bovril find it easier to give reasons not to attend than actually go to games. Oh, and for the record, I was one of the fans in the main stand on Tuesday shouting for Dodds to go so not a happy clapper.

Raith away Jan28th
I really despair when I see posts like this. Supporters support the team and should do so. By all means have a go at the manager (I didn't want him either) or the board but the team on the pitch needs supported, not by far ns staying away. You don't go to football matches with a guarantee of entertainment but some fans seem to think that is their right. The players do, by and large, seem to be playing for the team hence they should have our support. We are no longer a Premier league team and some fans need a reality check on that. We are a Championship quality team and that is unlikely to change soon. Key to next season is getting the right manager in.

Queens Park Take 2: Scottish Cup 4th Round
Agreed but I think pricing for cup games is agreed between the 2 clubs so Queens Park may have had an influence on pricing. Let's be honest though, even if the price was reduced to £15/18, would it really make a huge difference to the crowd?

Spiders at home
Must have watched a different game to you as draw was a fair result. QP had the 2 best chances but not through any creative play, but poor defending. Their keeper had two outstanding saves to keep them in it. For all Queens midfield play, they created few clear chances unlike ourselves. Some of our best football played this season today

Next manager
Let's get real here, Dodds won't be sacked until his contract is up or we are in real danger of being relegated. Don't think relegation is likely at all. Injuries have impacted on our performances this season and nobody can seriously dispute that. However, Dodds needed to change tactics and set us up as being hard to beat with the players he had available. He didn't however, just like last season when we had our bad run and he kept on playing the same way even when obvious it wasn't working. He is either too stubborn to listen to criticism or just plain stupid tactically with my money on the latter. Promotion has probably gone this season again thanks to Dodd's ineptitude again so we need to change both him and the current coaching team as soon as is financially possible.

Cold ICT v Hot Ayr
With the exception of the Hamilton game, and I'm only talking about home games as those are the only ones I attend, we have played some decent stuff this season. A bit mystified why some posters think this is the worst ever team, it isn't by a long chalk, and when you consider the injuries we have, that's not a bad achievement. Against Arbroath and Ayr, we have played some good football despite what some on hear state, but mistakes have cost us dearly in both games. With just a small bit of luck, we would have had 6 points. We are not playing too badly in the games I have attended but really need a bit of luck to go for us.

New ICT Away Strip for 2022
Absolute bollocks as are most of your posts, and I know I shouldn't bite. Both clubs were dying on their feet at the time of the merger and the "locals" weren't exactly rushing in their hordes to attend matches. I know plenty people who previously went to Caley and Thistle matches and now support ICT. I myself was a season ticket holder at Thistle and gave probably missed no more than 20 home ICT matches since formed. If you're so bitter about the demise of Caley, find a forum that will listen to your nonsense as it shouldn't be this one.

Congratulations on New Club Record
What utter utter nonsense. This does kinda make me think you haven't even been to the stadium. Hopefully you will take your last paragraph to heart and follow your own advice.

Congratulations on New Club Record
As someone has already said, it is generally the promoter that takes the hit in something like this so don't think this impacts on the club financially. This just looks like another of the anti club/board rants by the original poster who appears to have a huge dislike for the club.

Pretty fair assessment Robert. Only thing I would add is that we were sloppy with our passing especially in the second half which gave Cove several opportunities. As Robert said, we finished strongly and should have won the game, Boyd was quite impressive when he came on. Poor referee who bought the play acting by several Cove players especially Ligan, Fyvie, Megginson and the number 3 whose ridiculous reaction to a Samuel's tackle got Samuels booked. I also think the game showed Dodds poor tactical nous. We were getting overrun in midfield and he took far too long to get this changed. This is what happened last season as well so he needs to start learning from his mistakes quickly.

The Run In
The main aim this season was to get promoted. Of course we haven't played well at times this season but we've got a chance which we would have bitten your hand off for at the start of the season. If we do win and get promoted, then the team will need radical surgery but this really isn't the time for a post like this as I think most fans can see we aren't a team of world beaters but the team are giving their all for the cause.

Much better performance today helped hugely by the change in formation which should have happened weeks ago. By not playing with two out and out wide men, we looked much more solid in midfield and defence. Thought Shane played well and Duffy was immense when he came on winning every header. Arbroath are a very aggressive and niggly team and were aided in this by yet another abysmal refereeing performance littered with inconsistent decisions. At least it didn't affect the result and I can enjoy a Saturday night for a change.
