Ok ... the West Lothian Courier stadium was a mouthful .... and the Energy Assets Arena (as displayed on the SPFL website) is almost as bad as that one in Dingwall .... but the TONY MACARONI ARENA ????????? it is almost as good a name as "Dick's Sporting Goods Park" in Colorado ! (Dick's Sporting Goods is basically a big box (B&Q size) chain but for sporting equipment) Cue all the pasta jokes in tonight's thread ...... 12 minutes: Miles Storey makes it 0-1 to ICT !

Good Luck to Ryan as he moves onwards and upwards. There's a lot of BS in this thread from many posters and how anyone can do anything but wish him well is beyond me ! Like his dad before him, he has played an important part at ICT and we all knew he would move on sooner rather than later, and although many of us hoped it might be to England - where I think he will end up eventually - its not rocket science to figure Celtic might be the first stop given his dad's history and his own fondness for the club since an early age. Wearing the shirt and uttering well worn and cliched phrases about being happy to sign for a new club ... disrespectful? Get a f****** grip !!! Its part and parcel of football PR. The lad himself has not been disrespectful to ICT ... but there's a fair few candidates on here being disrespectful to him. Like Graeme Shinnie I think he will give his all until the loan spell ends and also like GS he should go with our blessing and thanks even though we dont want him to go.

just throwing it out there ... and I dont know the numbers, but dont forget that we operate on modest wages but our win bonuses have always been pretty reasonable so whatever we made in 'profit' for the cup(s) may have been considerably smaller than many of us expect. AGM will be coming up soon so the accounts will be out soon.

The Ask The Club Section is defunct ! It was setup in conjunction with the Courier a while back to support their initiative to publish a monthly Q&A session and the questions were going to the Courier not the club so they could incorporate it in their monthly series. They abandoned this after only 1 article. Its all there in the forum description that hasn't changed since we added it. The "easy" questions get answered because - mostly CaleyD - knows the answers to these or can find them out very easily !

agree with Sneckboy on this If we have a one year 'option' on the player then surely the player himself has the option to deny that? otherwise it is very similar to the contracts that Jim McLean used to issue at Dundee Utd 20 or 30 years ago where he tied up all the youngsters on ridiculously long contracts with club options to extend it beyond that. these were eventually deemed illegal or unenforceable and not worth the paper they were not written on !

Collum is a neep (for want of a better word), and the big problem with him is that he is so inconsistent that you never know what you are going to get. He is the poster child for all that is wrong with refereeing in Scotland (and beyond). Inconsistency is the biggest frustration most fans have, whether it be from refs or indeed our clubs ! Fear not though Collum haters, refereeing is just as bad and as inconsistent on this side of the pond ... so much so that MLS and SPFL refs could easily switch jobs ! I have stats for all the refs against TFC and some of it makes crazy reading too ! Collum had a pretty good Cup Final but lets be honest, when we heard he was getting that game we wondered two things ... how the **** the SPFL could award him the showcase game of the season and how he was going to ruin it. In the end, it was the best game I have seen him referee and there cant really be any complaints about sending off Tremarco or most other incidents in the game.

Whilst I am all for fiscal responsibility, and have espoused that opinion many times over the years as it relates to ICT, there are times when you do need to "speculate to accumulate". Every league placing is worth a significant sum (was 70K) so, although it is too late for this particular one, if a striker like Mackay could have been loaned in and paid say 2 grand a week then his goals (and I have no doubt he would haved scored some) could easily have taken us up 2 or 3 places and paid for his contract and more ! Yes, its a risk and he might not score any ... but we all know what the cost of relegation is

Yes, that used to be the way for the 'supporters club'. If memory serves me right, the issue was still the same though and buses had to be subsidised by things like booze cruises, discos or other fundraisers. Getting it to break even was a challenge almost every game/season. We can certainly add the buses into a calendar as far ahead as needed and we can use the RSVP function to show interest in going but payments and the actual bookings would have to be taken using a different method. The system is not setup for ticket sales and the Romania bookings proved to be a little challenging to administer (in a fun sort of way) ! Happy to discuss whatever we can do to help with CJT but I certainly dont have time to repeat the Romania scenario 15-20 times a season (albeit on a smaller scale).

cheers Jagster and Scorpio60 - have added the sponsorships and also added northstandfan to the player sponsor group. we are now complete and will make arrangements to pay the club the sponsorship !
