  1. A smaller home for a Div 1 side perhaps ? I think I can read between Eidolon's carefully worded lines ...........
  2. and perhaps agree on a co-ordinated course of action if the board cannot or will not do that ........
  3. Whilst I can see your point and agree to an extent, the simple fact is that the direction Brewster is taking us is down and regardless of how much latitude the board want to give the man there comes a point when it should be obvious that his "imprint" is not a positive one. I am sure it pained Eddie Thomson to boot Brew out of Tannadice, but he acted in the best interests of his club ..... all we are asking is for our board to do the same for ours. As far as I am concerned, George Fraser is the Invisible Man. We have seen and heard literally nothing from him since he was inserted into his position. The only people I have seen at least trying to work with the fans recently are Kenny Cameron and Graeme Bennett.
  4. you missed a game and goal diff (away) was wrong RANGERS - CaleyThistleOnline Stats Page TOTAL: H: P6 W1 D1 L4 F5 A10 A: P7 W1 D3 L3 F4 A11 BREW: H: P3 W0 D1 L2 F1 A3 A: P4 W0 D2 L2 F2 A9 EX-BREW: H: P3 W1 D0 L2 F4 A7 A: P2 W1 D1 L1 F2 A2
  5. yeah right !!!! That was told to the press, shame a different story was passed to the official website who said he had flu !
  6. Cant believe some of the comments on here ...... http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...4724952,00.html f*** Rangers. WE are hurting from 5, count them Craig ... FIVE defeats on the trot, and 1 home win in 10 games this season. concentrate on YOUR problems Craig, dont trot out the excuses before a ball is kicked. We also need a manager who has a f****** clue what he is doing and again doesnt seek to blame everyone except himself before a ball is kicked. They are not performing because you have no clue Brewster. If a single win in 5 years (under Charlie Christie in 2006) is your idea of doing well, then you have confirmed you are not the man(ager) for the job. YOUR record against Rangers is HOME: P3 W0 D1 L2 F1 A3 / AWAY: P4 W0 D2 L2 F2 A9 !!!! Get this clown out of our club
  7. The board would do well to remember that its not only them who can issue a "vote of confidence"
  8. Not quite yet, but I have asked if this can be set up. If it not going to be available in the short term, I'm happy to process some payments via my own paypal account. I'll get back to you tomorrow with a definite answer. Thanks LG - I have suggested the same thing to the centenary club - its a bit of a no brainer IMHO - safe, secure and versatile for those of us outside the UK with little overhead in terms of organisation and a cost that can be covered by adding the small charge to the buyer fee. if you can organise something on your own paypal, we have built in a hack to the system that allows us to automatically add a paypal button to the thread !!!!
  9. I think many of us agree with your sentiments BigYin but there is a myriad of threads already discussing this: Time For Action http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...?showtopic=9774 Ways to show Protest http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...?showtopic=9987 Swallow Your Pride http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...showtopic=10165 Surely Now Is The Time To Act http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...showtopic=10204 Walkout on Sunday http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...showtopic=10206 Boycott Partick Thistle Game http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...showtopic=10222
  10. I dont see this being advertised as a "forum" where the club have been invited to sit at the top table. It is a Trust Members' meeting with shareholders being invited to attend in the audience. A totally different beast.
  11. The supporters trust has a 10% voting share (plus whatever other shares have been bought and or proxied to them) and whilst it is true that they can do nothing in terms of getting a majority on any vote if the board members and our biggest shareholder stick together in any vote, they can certainly make life uncomfortable if they (the board) continue to ignore the ever increasing band of fans who are voicing their displeasure. Also - it is quite easy to write the website off as whingers as I mentioned above, but for the Supporters Trust to speak with the same voice gives legitimacy to all the concerns expressed on here, and all the concerns that may have been expressed to them by other elements of the support who dont come on here. As Don said above - this is one time/area where the supporters must try to speak with one voice so it is heard LOUD and CLEAR and the Supporters Trust is the best way to do this. (Do you take PayPal ? - serious question)
  12. sorry, couldnt resist this one, but looks like the Supporters Trust have now developed a set of hopefully, this will galvanize the supporters into a cohesive group and show the board that its not just an isolated band of internet whingers !!! The whinger response is one I see trotted out (or thrown in my face) a fair bit and although it can be relevant or even accurate at times, based on our current pageviews, the number of new people registering, and the number of "new" posters who have actually been around for a long time but are ending their "lurker" status and posting for the first time to express their concerns, the board simply cannot continue to ignore the situation. If they do continue to ignore it ....... the fans, and those shareholders who DO have the best interests of the club at heart will have no option but to call their suitability for the positions they occupy as an elected board into question. I urge the board to ACT NOW instead of waiting for the inevitable confrontation that will occur if they continue to bury their heads in the sand.
  13. think the date is by mutual consent if nothing else ..... Barry is (was) contracted to 19th January but if the contract is terminated he is free to sign up for Queens and play this weekend. Anyhow, before I drag this further off topic, this thread is to show our appreciation of him, so lets not clog it up with other discussions - there are plenty of other threads where we can do that.
  14. I have one question ... as a shareholder. Can I send the proxy who attends club AGMs etc for me ?

They pretty much give themselves a free advert here: http://www.ictfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Chai...,,10447,00.html

  18. when not official we have always been independent IHE ...... just seems that more people are on the same wavelength as you these days .......
  19. Toronto FC has been a bit of a nightmare on the pitch, but great fun off it (sound familiar?). However, it IS just the first two seasons of existence we are talking about and the way that MLS works, it is hard for an "expansion team" to do well immediately. 2007 (Season 1) P30 W6 D7 L17 F25 A49 PTS25 (last in Eastern conference, Last overall) 2008 (Season 2) P30 W9 D8 L13 F34 A43 PTS35 (last in Eastern conference, 12th overall [out of 14]) At the end of season 1, Coach Mo Johnston was punted upstairs to a director of football role and replaced by John Carver. At the end of season 2 a few players were lost and the big signing so far has been Dwayne DeRosario. A DP is also rumoured to be coming in for Season 3 (names like Nuno Gomes, Luis Figo and others have been mentioned) but it is clear that with the sale of Maurice Edu to Rangers, more than a million dollars in "allocation money" that must be spent (or it is lost), and several high ranking draft picks that TFC might step up a gear this season ......
  20. We appreciate the message from Barry and wish him all the best at QOS. We were delighted to publicise his testimonial events and hope we may have had some small role in adding a few quid to the coffers. Here's hoping he will be back at ICT as part of a new management setup in the near future. If he cant be playing for ICT under the current regime then I am happy he has chosen QOS as I for one have always had a soft spot for them ever since the days of the Caley Inn where we would have a session with some of their fans, which was reciprocated a few times when we made the journey to Palmerston. Good luck Barry. Haste Ye Back.

I would almost prefer Brewster ........ almost !!!

That's a point I'm trying to get across Scotty. The board have to be 100% sure about sacking Brew, before they take action. Unless they have a candidate in line they know will make a positive contribution to our team then I don't see how they can afford to pay severence and money for someone else. I am sure they will have had a crisis meeting by now to draw up possible replacements but I would really be clutching at straws to think of any managers that we wont have the same problems with next year If we go for another inexperienced candidate we are taking another massive gamble?? If we go for the tried and tested (lets face it, if they are old and not with a club they have probably screwed up somewhere else before coming to us) Robbo would be brilliant for PR but look what happened with him at Livi?? Colin Calderwood screwed up at Forrest and the fans hated him... even after winning promotion??? I can see what you are saying but dont think ANY manager would make us worse than we are right now. We dont have bad players - for the most part - but their confidence is shot to pieces. Whether that is confidence in themselves, the club, the manager, the tactics or some combination of all of the above is immaterial, it is shot to pieces. For me, that confidence is crucial !!!! We have been a club that thrived on confidence, belief and team spirit for years and you could argue that it allowed us to step up a gear most seasons (except the last two). Someone like Robbo would bring back the team spirit very quickly and I believe he would unite various parts of the club (board/fans/players) in support of the one aim we all should have which is to keep ICT in the SPL. Long term he may or may not be the answer. He came on here and answered questions in a manner that appeared to be truthful. He explained things we may not have known that led to his parting ways with the various clubs he has been at since leaving us. You can believe it was all his fault at those if you want, but look at the clubs he was at .... every single one of them (with the exception of Derry who I know little about) had problems that were quite well known and in the public domain. If you look at the stats, this season is the WORST a manager of ICT has ever produced and although statistically speaking, Robbo has the next worst single-season record I would actually give him a free pass on that one ... he managed only 12 games in the SPL (for ICT), we were playing at Pittodrie, and we had just come up to the SPL so were still adjusting (even though we did manage 3 "home" wins in that 12 which is better than we have done this season !!!). I think Robbo would have improved his record with us if he had not left as he also had the second best and fifth best single season records at ICT, with Pele having the other 3 "most winningest" seasons. Bottom line, I believe Robbo could bring back some passion to both players and fans, and if you have ever listened to him on open all mics, there should be no doubting his passion for ICT and the Inverness area. He knows the players, the players seem to respect him and with the right assistant(s) we might just pull ourselves out of this hole. If he keeps us up, then I would have no problem with keeping him on, if he couldnt save us and we went down, well he is the only man that has actually won a first division championship at ICT !!!!
  23. Or maybe he just cant be bothered listening to the "team talk"
