Hibernian -V ICT
A bit unfair imo Absent Friend. Ok we werent great up till we were 2-0 down but the defence pulled themselves together after this and worked really hard as did Ryan Esson. Highlights dont show everything. Personally I think Warren is coming on nicely. He seems a leader on the park and is starting to build a partnership with Meekings whom I also rate. This team is starting to gel and if you had been there on saturday you would have seen team spirit in action! A win is not far away I am sure of it.

Hibernian -V ICT
I thought the difference between the two teams in the first half was confidence. Hibs were brimming with it and are much improved on last season. Wotherspoons goal was a peach but have just watched Peppers on SSN and actually was much better than I thought at the time. At the time was just very relieved and after getting back in it always felt we would get something from the game. All in all a great team comeback and with a little belief and continuing hard graft a win surely isn't far off.

It was a draw 1-1?Gavin Morrison scored for us.

At ICT v Aberdeen? Who on earth has got that idea? The BBC actually had a bigger on-air presence there than would be the norm for this season at a non commentary game. John Robertson did Open All Mics as usual and since I was at the shinty, Billy Dodds came up to do the TV report and post match interviews, but was also seconded as a second voice on Open All Mics. Dont shoot the messanger! Just repeating what they tweeted! Think they said that there was not proper reporter just 2 ex pros. Take it up with them I suppose

Think there was hospitality on saturday. There was people in the kingsmills suite when I passed and pics on caley jags so think this was a malicious rumour started by our neighbours lol

crowd today.
Checked the dens crowd and it was reported to be five and a half thousand. Didn't look like that on the telly tbh.

Dunno if we should go down that road. We appealed for Rossco last year and he got more of the ball than Anderson and we still lost the appeal. Don't think they would win but you never know I suppose!

Only realised that about the stats yesterday. The local journalists on twitter not too amused that the bbc didn't even bother sending a reporter yesterday.

Think it may end up on his desk. Kenny Sheils raging bout it!

Can't see any evidence on the highlights that he mouthed off! Late challenge tho so can see why the ref showed red tbh.

I think there's probably a variety of reasons why crowds are falling. Number one is probably economics, football is expensive as a hobby and we are in a recession. Then there is our neighbours. Like it or not they have novelty value at the moment. 40 games unbeaten and a new all sweater stadium to nose at. Number 1 we can't do much about. Number 2 will sort itself out probably as the going will get tough for them too on the park eventually and novelty doesn't last forever. They do seem better at the propaganda tho. They are perceived at having a better stadium, better team, better hospitality etc and I'm not sure any of it is true!! I worshiped Grant Munro and Rossco with the rest of us but life moves on. If you read back on old posts on here re Munro and Tokely we weren't always complementary. However another possible reason not talked about much is that home games are not fun anymore. No atmosphere, no cameraderie, just MOAN after MOAN. This is never the case at away games where everyone seems to be behind the team 100%. In fact it appears to me that some folk that moan are never happy. Yes I know folk pay their money and are entitled to voice their opinion but it's not much fun for the rest of us trying to get behind the team. You can see at away games how the players really appreciate our support. Yesterday I spoke to a lady and her daughter who were with one of the school parties and at the stadium for the first time. They really enjoyed themselves and intend to come to other games. So refreshing to speak to someone enthusiastic for a change. Btw I admit I can moan for Scotland sometimes but I don't do it all the time! I dunno what the answer is but it's worrying. If this goes on I doubt we can sustain SPL football in Inverness which would be a very sad day IMO especially with the fight over he years to get here.

Not having a go Smee but the game always seems different in person than on the telly IMO. This is always evident when we playing sky for instance and you read the differing posts of those at the game and those watching on the telly. Dunno why this is btw

That's the real worry imo

U20s win again!
How? Unless you can guarantee that all the short-term contracts (and overage players) playing for the u-20s stay with ICT for a future in the first team....and on current retainment of players signed on short term contracts, that isn't a given.. This was meant to be a good news story. Of course it could bode well for the future. Even if a couple of these lads go on to the first team that's got to be good.

The Highland Derby Ticket Fiasco
Does it really matter that their tickets went on sale before ours? Its not a race to see who sells out first as the game is weeks away yet. As long as we have ours sold by the game thats what counts. I think this topic has changed slightly from the op anyway as Dougal was concerned about their allocation originally not about how the tickets were being sold. Yes I do think it matters that before one of our biggest games of the season the tickets are on sale a week before anyone knows about it...its not the fact they will sell in the end anyway its the fact it could and should have been communicated better. If you read my post at no time did I say that it didnt matter that the tickets were on sale for a week without anyone knowing.
