  1. Oh no! Really dont want to know things like this.
  2. I know but not the draw many of us would have picked.
  3. Oh help! Not good news at all.
  4. Not so sure about that. I may be wrong but I've a feeling that the club agree a fee at the start of the contract and that any profit over and above that goes to Linley's. In other words, the club gets paid no matter how much is sold. I normally go for my pie before the game or during the first half. I went to the south stall at the west side on saturday. One lass took the pie out of the oven, one poured the coke and a third took the cash. The forth stared into space. How I wish I was their supervisor. Exactly as I see it Alex! Its ok everyone saying dont use it/eat before the match but this does not excuse crap service to the fans. Its about time someone at the club took a look at this. I know folk from the club read the site so its not like they dont know what is going on. I know the prices will never reduce but surely the service is something that CAN be sorted.
  5. Scotty as you state Mr Imrie is certainly not everyones cup of tea - hes not my cup of tea lately either. However I was embarrassed at some of the chanting on saturday which was right beside the family section in a family orientated club (rightly or wrongly before someone comes on about the family club bit). It was also reported on extensively by the press and now we are all tarred with the same brush.
  6. No van last saturday. I did as 12th man suggested and used the servery in the bar before kick off. However, when this firm won the contract it was stated that they were experts in events catering and could get people served quickly. I just think they are dead slow stop myself. They seem to have plenty staff but no organisation.
  7. Think timing had something to do with him going really. We didnt really see ourselves as promotion candidates/certainties at the time and I think the thought of getting some money for him sold it at the time. He also got to play back in the spl and probably thought we were destined to another season in div 1.
  8. Would be happy to chip in also
  9. Can we be greedy and ask for more ups than downs? please.......

  10. Agree RIG I think we all expect Rooney to be A1 every week and we all have our off days.
  11. Dunno think revenge could be sweet! About time we beat these timewasting cheeting f.........rs!
  12. Showed his maturity level today me thinks esp at the final whistle.
  13. MOM decided by a sponsor who has been entertained in hospitality ie with alcohol. Enough said eh!
  14. Really teeded off to tbh but really just a day to forget. As already stated like groundhog day - had forgotten how much I hate hamilton and their time wasting and oscar acting performances. Tjought Imrie was a bit ott at the end to the north stand but lets see who has the last laugh Dougie eh. think we could have played till now and not scored today and unfortunately a lot of the guys picked today to have an off day. Really only Esson Rossco Hayes and Ross get any pass marks at all. ref was rubbish but we shouldnt have to depend on that really. Roll on Easter Road in 2 weeks/
  15. Dunno if we'd do any better but at least we'd get a trip abroad!
  16. Happy birthday! Welcome to the 46yr old club lol. Hope the holiday is going great.

  18. Wow have never managed to get to the dizzy heights of 14 points before!
  19. Oh Im sure lots of folk have lots of old Elgin stories. I was on the bus the day the back window got smashed in and have also been on buses that had police escorts out of Elgin. Seems funny to see where we are today and where they are today. Not sure if them entering the sfl was for the best really.
  20. Hamilton will defp be looking to improve on sat now
  21. What about us girls? Sexist I say
  22. Forgot about Dunfermline in Dec but at least there was the bridies to warm us up! However the journey home was horrendous and skidded just as I was about home. Still think I was colder in Glasgow however but a close thing.
  23. Yes. I have never been so cold in all may life as I was that day at Partick and we got beat and the fog was so thick in the 2nd half you couldnt see anything past the half way line! Seems like ages ago now
