  1. no offence mate but think you're clutching at straws think you'd struggle to find a club in the country that doesn't need improvement and most have had a century to work on them. We have sprung up the leagues in < 15 years so no wonder we're behind in a few things but we're on the right tracks. I really don't know what everyone's problem with Bennett is, how can the guy get more experience??
  2. too many variables so I'm setting the figure at ?1 mil
  3. Wish I could but think it'll just be the Burnley & Liverpool matches I can make it to... would much prefer to make it to the game on tuesday
  4. This seems to be the topic that is splitting most posters on the forum so thought I'd put it to a poll. Rules: If you don't sell then you can enjoy one year of Niculae before he goes to another club for free. The offer has come from a club outside the UK. 40% of the fee can be used to sign new players. The question is this: If an offer of ?1mil was made for Niculae and you had the finger on the button would you sell him?
  5. That's exactly what I hope to achieve from this. If enough people decide to vote with their feet, changes will be made. Obviously there are always going to be people who question my support of the club when things like this happen, and there's nothing I can do about that. But it's exactly that kind of attitude that annoys me about those in charge of the club. "So what if a few fans didn't renew, who needs them anyway?" The fact is, ICT needs the fans whereas I don't need to spend in excess of ?500 a year to enjoy my Saturdays. It's not like I'm losing interest like some "Part-time fan". It's not like I'm going to spend my money to go and watch another team play. It's not like I'll come rushing back just with a new signing or simply just the sacking of Brewster. Serious changes have to take place in order for me to come back and it has to start with the BoD. Once that changes for the better, the rest will fall into place. you honestly think things are that bad? Possibly ?1mil coming in on th back of Niculae (not to mention the world recognition of ICT having a player in the Euros) , finally the club have done something about <16 ticket prices, about to reach our 5th season in the SPL, we are not in millions of debt I would take a good look at the likes of Livi & Gretna before going on strike!
  6. :017: argueably the best left back in the SPL last season... Hastings is probably our most consistent performer, I'd prefer not to see him played at centre half though Munro is a left footed/sided centre half anyway... I still think we could do with another right sided centre half
  7. I believe you may have hit the nail on the head unfortunately. forced out the door my @rse! Niculae will be just as eager to move to another club, he said himself when he made the initial move that he was using us to find another club unless we can afford a year extension to his contract we would be niave not to sell him
  8. Watched Sean Evans play 2 years ago in the fa youth cup Evans was one of the better players and aparently quite well thought of by Ferguson I'm sure there will be footage somewhere, was shown being shown on sky at the time
  9. Always delighted to see ICT investing in young scottish players.. look forward to seeing this lad getting a chance in an ICT shirt someday
  10. the reason County will never become an SPL team is as soon as you produce a player with any talent we'll buy them run along back to P&B now where someone gives a ****
  11. Welcome aboard Zadi but again Brewster has made another squad signing, where are all the purchases that are going to improve our first team?? where's the ambition?
  12. well said jigsaw his tenacity to score at Ibrox won't be forgotten or his performance against Celtic in the semi final of the cup although we eventually lost one of the few players that never leaves the pitch without giving 100%
  13. Clyde anyone??
  14. Last Seasons strikers: Wyness, McCallister, Niculae, Paatelainen, McDonald, Imrie, Bayne... we badly needed a goal scorer IMO This season: McCallister, Wood, Paatelainen, Imrie, Barrowman and we are likely to sell McDonald, Bayne & Niculae we now have a goal scorer, I think Rory can do Bayne's job so it's whether we can find someone that can play with their back to goal like Niculae & Wyness I'd expect 2 more signings upfront but I'm excited to see some of our youngsters get a chance we are almost guarenteed ?500k (although I expect more) for Niculae, which is a huge amount of money so whether that goes towards the contract of a player or the signing fee or both I have confidence we can attract someone to the club Niculae has stated he is likely to leave, so have the club, unless we can extend his contract the club would be foolish not to sell him
  15. cheers
  16. agreed positive step forward IMO even if some people don't like the strip
  17. as mentioned previously, just delighted we've made a signing whether he'll be up to SPL level, time will tell but 29 goals in one season is an impressive record no matter what level you're playing at considering we were going for Buchanan last year think Barrowman is a step forward but IMO we still need at least another 2 strikers if Bayne and Marius go Barrowman is our wildcard for next season we need 2 proven/SPL forwards
  18. if anyone does manage to get down to the shop can they find out what size a normal medium is? in Glasgow so going to have order mine online and know from past experience what the sizes are like
  19. :029: great he was a very highly rated player from the conference, but not convinced. It certainly would be positive to finally make a signing though
  20. :clapping03:
  21. my problem is that I think Brewster is still more concerned with forwarding his own career than ICT's. Obviously, if Brew is ever to improve his reputation he has to do it with ICT but I just get the impression he will be off again as soon as he gets a better offer. There is a time for European coaching qualifications and after finishing 9thin the league, now is not that time. my bad I didn't realise the training was mandatory
  22. I think the main point has been missed here What the feck is he doing in Salzburg?? By all accounts it sounds like a group of lads going to watch the footie ?The Pro-Licence is mandatory now. We take them to Euro 2008 matches and then they have to write up reports on what they have seen. We are here to work, it?s not a holiday. We have group discussions every day. However, it?s not dry classroom stuff. It is real football talk. Jim Fleeting organised tickets for all the games, which was hard because they are like gold dust. We are also taking some of the candidates to watch a Russian training session. It will be great for them to see how someone like Guus Hiddink [the coach] works.? only the guilty have excuses ready before they've been accused...... and I guarentee Brewster isn't paying for this out his own pocket Brew should be spending every possible second in finding replacements for those that have left and players that will progress the squad.
  23. speaking of shorts does anyone else think there is a bit of a bulge there?? :tic01:
  24. I think the design's quite smart ... she's no that fit :023:
