His contribution over many decades was outstanding. A massive character and a very big loss to the Inverness football scene. He'll be missed.

Damned if they do and damned if they don't. Fair play to them for making the effort I say.
  3. Forres Mechanics wouldn't be bad but Elgin would be better
  4. Lots of effort but a complete lack of quality. We should have scored before the break and should have had a penalty. Hearts should have had one too. Defence looked scared of Nade throughout and he is one impressive player. For all the effort in the second half we had one half chance and didn't force a single corner. Really poor stuff with everything we were trying extremely obvious. Imrie, without Black and Cowie, looked a shadow of his normal self. Don't see how others could be impressed with him. Barrowman was a complete waste of time - on tha point everybody seems to be agreed. What injury has Cowie sustained, when did he do it and how long will he be out for?

Cropley still getting a run out for Hibs. He must be pushing 60!!!!
  6. Thanks for bumping it up, Don. It may be of interest to some that we hope to have members of the new ICT Events Committee in attendence so come along and give them YOUR ideas.
  7. This season the ICT Supporters' Trust has again bought a group of season tickets in the north stand that can be used by children's and youth groups at ICT home games. So if you think your local school, scouts, BB's, youth club or other relevant group could use them then please give the Trust a call on 07879 221569 or email [email protected]. Ten kids' tickets are available and there are two for accompanying adults. There is no charge for use of these tickets and members of the Trust board meet each group outside the ground, make sure they get through the turnstiles ok and are shown to their seats. For some of those attending last season it was their first experience of a football match and one ot two groups came from further flung parts of the Highlands & Islands - even further than Dingwall!
  8. It's a great excuse if it keeps him south of Perth!
  9. Duff deserves another smiley purely for the comedy effect of the Rab C Nesbitt bandage he was sporting.
  10. Bit harsh giving Cowie no smilies surely.
  11. There will be plenty available outside the ground before the game priced ?10.
  12. The first game of last season spring to mind when Rangers beat us 3-0. It may be that they are waiting for the Champions League draw to be made. If Celtic have a game on the Tuesday after they play us, the game with ICT will probably be Saturday lunchtime. Otherwise it will probably be Sunday afternoon.
  13. I noticed that too. You're right. The arm up strategy was a regular feature last term.
  14. I must be getting old. I don't think I've liked a Scotland strip since they moved to Diadora. They looked like a team you could believe in wearing Umbro. Diadora is fit for the welfare league.

When will tv companies start to realise that what fans want to see is more of the game and less of pundits either spouting the bleedin' obvious or talking garbage? Probably never.
  16. A brave article in which I can find little to argue with.
  17. This will, of course, be the fault of the rest of the SPL. Can't say I feel guilty.
  18. My own view is that any of four teams could be relegated - ICT, Hamilton, St Mirren or Killie. Despite the departure of Niculae I think we may well score more goals this season but have real concerns about things at the back. I expect a lot of high scoring games. We need two things to happen to banish any possibility of relegation blues 1. Another good central defender - not a squad player but a big quality player to play alongside Munro. 2. A good start to build confidence early on. Looking for at least four points in the first three games.

Glad it's been brought to a conclusion. Good luck to Marius.
  20. Barrowman could have had a barrowload. His finishing was poor but he has a real knack of getting into good positions. Once he gets a goal he could fly. Evans impressed with his desire to impress. He looked like he really wanted a contract. He may just have done enough to earn one. Jury is still out on Zadi as far as I'm concerned. Most memorable part of the game were the extracts from Billy Nelson's new album. Numbers such as Westering Home to the Ferry and the imaginatively titled, Right Enough, had the crowd stunned to silence as they listened to the lyrics. Very funny.

Should be at Grant Street and popping into the Innes beforehand. :003:

    All done and dusted Clicky
  23. What's cricket? :023: Was at Turf Moor once about 15 years ago and really enjoyed it. I'm sure visiting fans will enjoy the trip as long as they don't mention the words "Blackburn" and "Rovers"
  24. If only we still had Bobby Mann to use as trade bait :023:
