  1. Aren't Diego Maradona's press conferences the best ever? Glad to hear his wrist isn't broken.
  2. I also notice the Royal Antwerp game is tbc (to be confirmed).
  3. Crewe have never been a Premiership side. The Courier are saying on their website that they believed that ICT were in discussions with Bradford City about a game. As usual, not a word from Caley Thistle on the matter.
  4. Some of the Argentinian haircuts are somewhat troubling and the Slovenians not much better. It crossed my mind watching the Greeks yesterday that if a team that bad can qualify from Europe then how bad must Scotland be. It's a shame to see so many empty seats at some games. Makes you wonder about the wisdom of taking the World Cup to South Africa and then pricing games out the local population's reach.
  5. These lilac and orange boots are nauseating. The refs have done well, though.
  6. Will this be the first time we've had royalty at TCS since Wyness left? No, we have Queen's Park the week before and Queen of the South all of last season.
  7. Click Here Not sure how reliable this site is but it is suggesting the Fleetwood Town game is on Saturday, 24th July. Fleetwood's own site is not yet confirming the fixture.
  8. I can't say I'd heard of the guy but what a really sad story. All ICT fans should read D_B's link.
  9. Click Here An early indication of who we might be playing down south. :)
  10. I have to agree with those who say that Kenny is a fine choice for the job. He can certainly work at both levels effectively (in the boardroom and with the fans). The real challenge for Kenny, though, is this. This forum has been filled over the years with countless threads about off the pitch failings and inefficiencies at ICT. Many times these complaints have been justified. Kenny will have to make the club operate better and he will probably have to do it with less staff than when we were in the SPL before. People often say how much better County operate off the pitch than we do. When people stop saying that you will know that Kenny has succeeded.
  11. I guess some of us local types could get together at the Innes for a game or two. Or maybe Cape Town.
  12. I think it is very likely to be repeated after the success of last year. TB was keen to make it bigger and better this year but we won't know the date till the club's pre-season plans are finalised.
  13. The Chief Executive nominates ajsict92. Reason - nepotism
  14. Not long back from the final. It's the first Scottish Cup Final I've been to in 20 years. I went not bothered who won. As it happened, the Arabs were worthy winners. I guess in the eyes of many here that if somebody offers me a ticket for the World Cup Final they will be horrified if I go because Scotland won't be in it. Perhaps I might get an invite to the Champions League Final next week and, if I go, will be condemned because ICT ain't in it. What nonsense!

I'm going to the game very much feeling, "may the best team win". Whoever it is, I don't really mind.
  16. On one hand I can't help but feel that if it was felt we were in with a genuine shout of the title back in January we would not have got rid of him. On the other hand I have heard he was not the most positive influence in the dressing room. Bottom line, though, is have we missed him? No. So I guess it wasn't a mistake.
  17. Can I call a public meeting to discuss the merits of bestiality and talking to lamp-posts in an independant Scottish Republic. G, T & WB have agreed to attend if acceptable.
  18. A lot of us were in the Tulloch Institute in Perth before the Mickey Mouse Cup Final.

    Excellent news. Made my day.
  20. And who won the 2nd Division award? Rory McAllister. Who would have believed it!
  21. Well done. The Sunday Herald was totally pathetic yesterday in terms of coverage.
  22. Click Here If he can get across Inverness in 11 minutes I need to discover his route. B)
  23. The yoof did you proud today. Yer P45's in the post.
  24. Really rich from an Aberdonian. Why not have an eight team league? That would get rid of the Dons quick enough. Quite priceless. You want to open up top flight football to as many different communities as possible. That's got to be good. You have to get rid of the split which is a piece of total nonsense. You want to give as many Scottish players as possible the chance to play at the highest level to see what they are made of. A year in the SFL has certainly shown me that there are some really good players who could and should be playing at a higher level. Even Dundee and County have a few. What more can I say!
  25. DJS replied to CaleyD's topic in Caley Thistle
Going like the proverbial hot-cakes tonight. I'm sure they will be popular tomorrow.
