ICT -V- Kilmarnock : matchday thread
I was thinking the same - He was good but didn't have an aweful lot to do compared to some games - killie didn't have many shots on target today. Cowie was my MOTM hands down, both him and Marius worked their socks off, it coul;d have been more than 3-1. I was enjoying the crowd's bating of Alan Comb as well!

I don't think ICT are that cheap but they're definately not the most expensive either. Hibs don't even offer student concessions and their prices are not cheap, ICT do offer a concession for students (although it's not as cheap as hearts it's pretty good) and their adult prices are about average i think.

Roll Call for the Hearts game on Saturday
The diggers is above where Gorgie Road Joins Dalry Road - where those two streets meet there is a big junction if coming from dalry taking a hard left at this junction will take you onto the road the diggers is on, it's about a minutes walk from the junction if that - search for athletic arms on google maps if you're not sure - that's what the diggers real name is. Welcome Back?
Agreed, you don't see intervews with Smith in the Record saying how close Brown is to the squad anymore (granted Smith is isn't in charge anymore :029:) point being though ... he is only one injury or bad performance by the normal keeper away from getting a starting spot ... if he starts a few games, and plays like he can, he will get called up ... and all the while he is hopefully building himself a nice wee nest egg as well. Good luck to him, he served us well, I just hope he has a bad game on the 16th if he plays. :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: well said, he will always be an ict legend but i understand why he went, footballers don't have long careers and they also have ambition therefore better pay and a bigger club with a chance of playing top level football are bound to be appealing.

The Great Tannadice Horn Incident
an airhorn i could almost understand as i've seen it done before at murrayfield - but a plastic one you blow into - that's a piggin' joke. what the **** are these guys playing at?

New Scotland Manager Poll
That's the problem isn't it...? I would be happy with either Burley or Levein, but suspect that Roy Aitken will get the nod... (I'll be happy with that too, as long as Souness doesn't get a look in) Here, here. Speaking as a NUFC fan I will be devestated if Souness gets within a mile of the job.

Dundee U game
Never a better word said - brew is the man for the job on sat but i can't see him starting.

Next transfer window
We really need 2 good defenders in, with experience and guts.
-
Next transfer window
Time to bring Jimmy Calder out of retirement. actually i thin k fraser will do just fine if we can get a solid defence in from of him.
-
Michael Fraser
Idiots, you think it helps the team in any way by giving our own players abuse, alright mikey fraser has had a few howlers but he is the b est we've got and i feel he is still a good young player. I reckon you're lucky all you got was the V's for your abuse - do us all a favour and pipe down if all you're going to do is give your own side abuse.
-
John Rankin
I heard JR and Donald Park had a big style fall out, i'm not sure why that'd affect brew's attitude towards him though, who knows. i rate Rankin as a class player and surely he should at least be making the bench.

Ross Tokely fined for his actions against Motherwell
well said - he may have some small anger managment issues but, in my eyes he's one of the few who is pretty reliable at the moment (og excepted)

ICT -V- Motherwell : Matchday Thread
Managed to make it up the road for the game with my flatmate 'monthecaley' - the worst performance I have ever seen from Inverness in person - the only good football was in the last 10 mins of the 1st half. I really did think we missed Marius today - all we did was hoof it up the park, there was little in the way of structured passing and any one-touch football with the exception of tokley's ball into the box in the 1st half... Agreed the refereeing was pretty terrible but the perfomance was about a millions miles away from that against grenta - hopefully brew was kicking some arses in there after the game. On a positive note - nice to see a substitution before the 84th minute...

U21 Rule and ICT
Brewster is only saying that to discredit the SFA who have been scrutinising the allegation that Zibi Malkowski is in fact a goal keeper, and not as they believe a striker who has been disguised to help us get an extra man on the bench. I can see why they would question whether this man was truely a goalkeeper but they should surely give us the benefit of the doubt :023: :029:
-
Team for Gretna Game
I think we are all agreed that Malkowski should NOT be anywhere near the goals for the rest of the season (and that means on the bench, as opposed to a referance to his very questionable positioning which means he pretty much isn't anywhere near the goals most of the time anyway!)

ICT -V- ABERDEEN - matchday thread
Bag Points: Malkowski Malkowski Malkowski! Kicked 2 spot kicks straight out of the park in the first half, terrible hands for the first goal and some dodgy decisions like running to the edge of his box for a punch - can't help but feel that if it had been fraser in goal we could have at least had a point today. Marius: felt his positioning could have been better in the opponents box, but some good off the ball play. Tokley - poor header but good performance otherwise IMO. Good Points: Wyness - great play from him and of course that 100th goal, by far our best threat Black - hit some good balls in - like the one duncan got on the end of, was a bit dominated by the afc players when in possessention though Malkowski: he won't play in goals for the rest of the season now - that has to be good Overall performance: I thought ICT were unlucky to miss out on a point today, they really ha Aberdeen under pressure for a lot of the 2nd half - just missing that extra bit of class that could have brought on a goal - i'd be interested to see bayne on for atleast 45 min instead of niculae. Finally - what is with brew's far-too-late-to-matter subs? Niculae should have come off after 60 mins...

Richie.......
The fact Har didn't appear in court for the entire case makes me think he isn't quite ready to totally face up to what he has done to be honest. Most sheriffs would insist he had to stand in front of court to exlain himself as opposed to a soliciter seaking on his behalf he is lucky to get away with this and to be honest it makes me think he isn't man eough to stand up in court and admit his wrong-doings, this upsets me quite a lot. Added to that the fact he pled not guilty then changed his plea, and then on conviction he had an interview with the HN which hinted at the fact he only pled guilty because he felt he would be convicted either was and he was in fact not guilty of possession. If he truely is rmorsful then i say he deserves a second shot for sure - send him off to the centre out of his own wages and give him a shot to start again, but if as i fear he's not leared his lesson then frankly i wouldn't welcome back at the club. So i say to Mr Hart - prove to us all tht you deeply regret it and want to stay a part of the club and rebuild your and the clubs reputation and Ifor oe wil support you all the way.
