i wasn't sure about dougie at first, but over the last month or two he has changed my opinion about him...i wasn't sure if he was spl quality but he seems to be getting grips with it now...not sure he'll be a great player but a good one yes with more consistancy. i would agree and say he has more heart than actual ability...he's your typical traditional scottish player and there is nothing wrong with that.

same team that started against killie, why people want to change straight after a win baffles me. tokely could miss out though through suspension.

Bring on wilson in second half as I think he is more effective coming on as a sub, but with a enough time left for him to make an impact.

Wouldn't you too have taken Barrowman in the sumemr after seeing his performances and goals to game ratio? no because the second division is a far far cry from the spl. i know a lot of players in the second division and they aren't exactly athletes. i have never rated barrowman and im being proved correct, he is nowhere near spl standard. people have to stop making excuses for this guy. he wages that i know he is on could have brought in a far more experienced and better player.

i know that barrowman gets more than 1300 a week which is a complete joke, i think that lad would struggle in the first division nevermind the spl. honestly the worse the player you are at caley the higher they seem to get paid...the club really do **** up on wages, the club clearly don't pay the players that actually deserve a wage, it's completely back to front. as for the youngers they would be better of working at tesco's. its actually embarassing the wages the players get paid compared to similar sized clubs as us. we are the lowest paying club in the spl by quite a bit.

Doesn't Bennet over see contract negotiations? It is my belief that this is a large part of his remit, he hasnt got a clue, i am also led to believe CB has asked Black if they have spoken to him or his agent, to which he has replied, NO, so what does this tell us, I cant believe this is happening, Blackie, Cowie etc will be away at Xmas or at least they will be committed to other clubs by January, due to the fact that they feel demoralised, angry, frustrated, p***** off, to the extent if i'm not wanted i'll go elsewhere, they need to look out for their families etc, many of the quotes I believe are spot on this should have been tied up long ago, or money made from them moving, personality clashes or not, the boys are doing their bit on the park what is Bennet doing, sweet F A, i too have said Brew needs to go, but it goes deeper than that, the rest have to go first, then maybe Brew would improve. Once again ICT will suffer because of the idiots at the top of the tree. yep i agree with that.

i have to agree, saying that though we might have been able to pay our better players more money if we weren't paying players like barrowman the wages he is on...its a complete joke that he is one of the top earners at the club. caley are paying the wrong players the bigger money...and i just cant help but feel its what the club deserve if they loose players because they cant afford to keep them because they're paying crap players too much. is there anyone in the management and board at caley that actually know anything about football and what talent is?

yeah i completely agree with you forresjags, brew has been shifting vigurs all over the middle of the park and it's not doing him any favours but he still is showing his class. i really hope brew gives vigurs a good run of games in the middle though because i really think he could be one of our best players given the chance. a lot of people are just happy to stick with our boring pairings(duncan and mcbain) at the moment, im sorry, but people have to wake up and realise its not working...you play your best players and vigurs and black are that. they are the two most talented along with cowie. the first two names i would put down in midfield every game would be black vigurs and then i would base the team around our two best players. I also agree with Black and Vigours but young Vigours has to be played in the middle as his strength is his vision and passing. Having seen him recently he has definately bulked up a fair bit which can only help with the physical side of his game which previously was his only weakness. yeah he's apparently spent a lot of extra time in the gym and stays behind after training.

i am same height as phil and i'm 6ft and proc is the same as well. why is everyone so concerned about who weighs the most and who the tallest is, its down to who the best is. proc is not a centre back so he shouldnt be played there, he is only put there because brew has to play the players he signed...so finds any position possible for them...why do you think proc got put straight back in against rangers after only one res game...brew isn't even subtle about this, no other player apart from imire would be put back in that fast and thats purely down to the fact that brew favours his signings over everything else whether its the right or wrong choice.

Esson Tokely Duff Munro McBain Cowie Black Duncan Vigurs Imirie Rooney i've been saying this for a while now and thats to drop Hasting as he just cant cope at this level...so brew please ******* do it. A few people think Barry Wilson should be playing but he doesn't have the legs anymore...barry is much more effective coming on as a sub. brew has to stop playing players like cowie, imirie and vigurs out of position as it completely affects their playing styles.

same team tonight, with either imirie or cowie pushing up to support wood. why change anything apart from pushing a player further up to support wood. im very glad they haven't changed barrowman for vigurs, we only seem to win games when vigurs is playing, has noone noticed that????

it's really a joke that jamie duff, gary wood and especially iain vigurs haven't been called up, all three have been playing first team spl this season whereas more than half the squad that have been selected aren't getting a game for their clubs....how do they justify selecting a player like Chris Maguire who hasn't played more than 10 minutes this season for the first team. that is the reason scottish football is the way it is now, you pick your best players...they certainly haven't done so.

Hey caley p you were spot on with your team for last saturday. Your source is obviously reliable so i have no reason to doubt you for wed night. Totally agree with you regarding Vigours . All our best football this season bar the Aberdeen game has been when he is playing. Quite simply he offers us a level of vision and class which we lack when he is out of the team. hey Roby, i haven't actually had a chance to talk to my source regarding wed night, however, my own opinion is it should be the same team with either cowie or imirie playing a little further forward supporting wood up front. soon as i hear something solid then i'll be on here to let loose.

i thought caley were fantastic, well done lads. i thought our midfield were superb and esson was brilliant. what a player vigurs is, he controlled that midfield, for a twenty year old he has so much class and composure, he and blackie are my centre midfield duo. i thought blackie was on top form again. we're going to struggle to keep these players. same again on wed please.

earlier in this post i defended Ike and thought he should keep his place for now, but maybe after his errors against rangers i think it would be best to drop him...if an outfield player performs badly then they get replaced so maybe it's time for esson to come in and try do a job...at least that would push Ike to work a lot harder.

when brew first came back i hoped he would do well as i am someone who thinks everyone should be given a chance, BUT, im sorry to say brew has to go...he is tatically challenged...he shows no consistancy in team selection....apparently has no man to man management with all his players...can't sign a decent player to save his life...keeps players that should be playing on the bench...can't see past his own arrogance...can't motivate the players and worsed of all he is a big 'YES' man and that is a scary thought considering the idiots we have higher up in the ranks pulling the strings...i think that is probably enough to validate his sacking or which i'd prefer to see and that is for him to walk away. please do the right thing brew and walk away before you bring this club down.
