Where could I see the highlights of games?
Well done to all concerned. Really appreciated by those who can't get to too many games :025:

Merged: Racist abuse at TCS.
On P&B Jailender mentions it may have been a guy who "allegedly" has been throwing abuse at black players from a few teams recently. Apparently gave Odihambo a lot of grief in the Dingwall game recently.

Reality Check
Personally, I am optimistic, but trying to keep my excitment under control for the moment. The memory of being so close to SPL survival last season is still fresh in the memory, and I don't need another slap in the face like that :D . So until such times as we have as good as won the league, I will refrain from rubbing it in to Dundee and C*unty fans and gloating. Just in case.

Its not you selling the shirt is it? 2nd post with link

Wayne Rooney
He's only out for 2-4 weeks. Means he has a rest before WC. Still, enough games left for him to get a wee broken metatarsal from some mad hatchet man from Stoke, Sunderland by the end of the season.

How Many Wins Would Win It?
Your totals don't allow for the fact that we have to play both Dundee and Dunfermline, so at least 2 of the teams totals will be wrong. If we win both most they can get would be, Dundee 66 and Dunfermline 61 points If we were to lose 1 and C*unty will all theirs, County win. I've got brain ache, too many combinations , I just hope our great run continues and we take care of it ourselves without relying on others.

Songs for Tomorrow Night
Plan B, to the Nessie Family tune, They can mend it, They can fix it, They can sell a peg or two, But never let a Dingwallian sit with you, You may see them steal a transit, You can smell the horses pooh, But never let a a Dingwallian sit with you. Edit to delete "offensive" (to Plod) word implying people from dungwall live the life of a travelling person.

Why are we so good?..!
Or to put it another way we have not lost 4 out of 6 games against our 2 main promotion rivals in league games.

Is it sad to go to a game yourself?
SMEE, I know exactly where your coming from with the "awkward in crowd of strangers" thing. That is me also. But, since I went to the Innes pre-match once, and got talking to a guy at the bar, I now know plenty of people from this site that I have met home and away. Usually drink is involved which has its good (helps with singing) and bad points (Vodka cuts down pee stops though).

The County Bounty
Even if your figures were accurate ( which I doubt ) then say 15 000 at Utd semi plus 35 000 at County semi @ ?25 a ticket = ?1 250 000 in gate receipts to be split 4 ways = ?312 500 each , add in the Sky money and prize money then your getting close to ?500k . Obviously all the figures are hypothetical at the moment. Is it not the case all gate reciepts, TV monies, merchandise etc are all pooled. But the figures what ever they are, will be split 5 ways. SFA will need to get their cut, further reducing any income.

The County Bounty
Can't see them getting anywhere near ?500,000. That report was before Rangers were knocked out, and that will cut the gate at the other semi vastly. Rangers v Raith would have had a crowd of around 30-35000. Dundee Utd v raith will be lucky to get 12-15000. If tickets were ?25 each thats approx ?500000 less in the pot

Jocky Scott Sacked
If it is Jimmy Calderwood that takes over at Dundee, does that mean we can sing "Jimmy says nah, tae the Killie pies" for the last game of the season? :(

For Jonny
A shorter ditty, perhaps, could be - His hair, is white , he's always dynamite Jonny Hayes, Jonny hayes, - - - - his hair is white, he's always dynamite, Jonny Hayes, Jonny Hayes, - - - - Repeat as often as you like :004:

ICT fan's Old Firm preference...
Hate both with a passion. Growing up I had to take abuse from both sets of fans. I was born on one side of the religious divide, but my brothers supported the other side. So I got, indeed still do get crap, when I go home, from both sides. Option 3 for me- Couldn't give a toss about either of them or their fans.

Dundee -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
You forgot to mention glasses Ian. If I didn't know better I would think you are picking on me and before anyone else mentions it, my mouth is also dentally challenged So in summary, if you seen a large, balding, 1/10 in the looks dept, who is blind and toothless, with his own pies and married to a e****sh woman, yes Guilty as charged. But on the bright side... the pies were nice

Dundee -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Ah, I see my fame is spreading, lol. Yes I am that distinctive larger person with thining hair and challenged in the looks department, but I aint no b*****d, my mother loved that sailor. But hey, is this the face of concern :004: Say hello next time, unless I offended you in any way. I don't bite dispite the look. Unless you are a steward

Dundee -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
After the warnings on another thread about price and standard of pies, I was prepared, I bought a couple of lovely pies (95p each) in a great bakers in town before heading up to the ground. Unfortunatly my irn bru was confiscated from mrs dude,( if ever anyone looked like a trouble maker, its her!!!) by the ever happy and helpfull Taysides best. I have heard a lot about the standard of stewarding at Dens Park over the years, and unfortunatly its all true. I would also add, the Tayside polis into the same category, USELESS!!!! Edit because h key is knackered, needed to use ammer on it
