When he took over we were I think 5 points adrift. And with "fecking around with formations and team selection" got us playing in the last game of the season with a chance of staying up. Yes he made a couple or 3 strange decisions regarding players and where they played, but under Brewster and his formations and team selections we would almost certainly have been relegated by end of March. I am not ignoring his stats, and I couldn't give a toss about his playing record, but as you said about Barrowman, "lets give him a chance to prove himself at a lower level and see what he can do". Even Brewster got a couple of months into the season before people were calling for his head. Give Butcher a chance. I will take stock after a 12-15 games We should know by then if he is the man to get us back up.

The end of next season.... Do you think it will take as long as that? Probably not in my opinion. What some people on here see in butcher i don't know, there is no proof that butcher knows what he's doing now or in the past, one fluke season with motherwell and a whole load of mess to fill up the rest of his eventful career as a manager. I know someone who played under Butcher at motherwell that season and he even said he was a terrible manager. Here's my proof backing up my opinion for all those Butcher lovers out there. Butcher's career as a manager: Coventry - BUTCHER SACKED Sunderland - BUTCHER SACKED Motherwell - Left on a high, probably before he fecked it up. Sydney FC - BUTCHER SACKED Brentford - BUTCHER TOLD TO FECK OFF BY FANS...SACKED Inverness - Relegated Anyway we'll see this season. Any chance Butcher securing some signatures anytime soon, get the fecking finger out. Why are you so anti Butcher and not willing to give him a chance in the 1st division. He almost saved us from relegation, and probably would have if he had come in a month earlier. I don't understand why you are willing to give Barrowman a chance, quote from you on Barrowman thread "I have slated Barrowman in the past but i feel we must give him a chance, completely agree with a player performing better with confidence, lets give him a chance to prove himself at a lower level and see what he can do" Why do you not want Butcher to be given the same chance?? A bit hypocritical perhaps>

Long lie in, breakfast in bed, then down to watch Scotland at the 20/20 world cup in another Scottish glorious failure. 4 race meetings on the telly, mixed results, flipping tv between Lions game, 20/20, and racing all afternoon. Put bet on evening football and watched Wales game. Lovely Dinner. Watched Northern Ireland game, all this sprinkled with a little trampolining and play station singstar with kids, and 6 out of 7 on my football line made for a lovely relaxed and profitable day. Still can't wait for a normal Saturday though.

And oh how I laughed. :D Didn't go down very well locally though.

Give him a cance you say, so what were the 32 appearances in the last year. He had 32 chances to show what he could do and 2, thats 2, goals(the last one being 27/9/2008) is the clubs return on wages on approx ?75000. Why can someone on this sort of money not adapt to the way the team played rather than the rest of the squad adapting to him. I am all for giving someone a chance, but I think Barrowman owes ICT big time this season.

I certainly was not blaming ICT for anything to do with fixture release day. I was mearly pointing out to Caleymad that some fans need time to organize in advance and I would be happy with as much time as poss to sort stuff out. But I totally understand it takes time to sort things out and I am happy with middle of June for the fixtures.

I dont know why people are in a rush for these fixtures. the first league game isnt played till August anyway I for one need time to plan ahead for lots of reasons. Travelling from yorkshire, booking ahead for good deal on hotel rooms, I have to tell ex which dates she will have the kids, next Mrs Dude has to book time of work, like to know which games are on during honeymoon, to get as many games in as possible, I am taking one of the boys up for his 6th birthday need to arrange where we are staying for this, etc, etc Not a problem if you live local, but for those coming from further afield it takes a bit more planning than fall out of bed, go to pub, go to game.

I read somewhere the fixtures are announced 3rd thursday in june. That would make it the 18th. The club told fixtures the day before. It will be on SFL website then I would expect

Believe it or not that was the first time I have seen or heard Susan Boyle on TV. Is it just me? she come across as someone who is not quite with us. She just seemed to be a couple of seconds behind everyone. Good singer though.

I thought it was the CIS cup on the 1st august?? Or have they changed it when I wasn't looking? CIS cup games are traditionally mid-week affairs so I'd expect the first round games to be on 4th/5th Aug. Back to B(Botched)T(telecoms), Moved house in January. Ordered Line,broadband and told it would be 10-14 days to connect. Fine not moving for 2 weeks. 14 days after order being placed and nothing happening called to check things were ok, No-one had any record of the order being made. So we tried again. Checked every couple of days to be sure everything was ok. Phoned again on around 10th day and they said they didn't have an order.and also that the house doesn't exist. Needless to say went with another company after that. Word of warning about their BTzone WIFI. I had to book in to a Days Inn on way home on Tuesday as I wasn't well. Booked 24 hours worth of Wifi through BTzone. Used about 4 hours. Went back to it few hours later and it wouldn't let me back on-line. 20 minutes waiting on phone to be told its not their fault and it must be my laptop. I had used FREE wifi at B&B in Inverness with no problems over the weekend. And now using fine now. Seems only BTzone doesn't work.

Let her go shop in the club shop :D Your having a giraffe!!! She went in for a scarf on Saturday and spent ?42 in 5 min. Once I came round, and got off the floor, she looked OK in the scarf.

I take it we won't be doing the Italy or Denmark thing this year, or are we? hope not, I'll be on honeymoon in Scotland last 2 weeks in July so hope to take in couple or 3 games. Just tell new Mrs Dude its sightseeing.
