  1. Austin not starting as he is still carrying a knock so only on the bench.
  2. Are you referring to CB ?
  3. We could get the knowledgeable local historian Charles Bannerman to be the curator and tour guide.
  4. Good scoop by the Scotsman but I thought that the club could not make an announcement until the deal was done and dusted.
  5. I got a stamped addressed envelope to make a postal vote.
  6. In the proverbial Feckin nutshell. Harsh perhaps but that may well have been a very apt way for our season to come to an end. As RIG alluded to how many more pressure games could we have tolerated. Well I was sitting in a pub in Chorley, watching Sky Sports, all the other Scottish scores fly through and the last Feckin goal has to be a Fife hairdresser. All good things come to an end they say. But hopefully April 2018 is a new beginning. And we now have to ensure that our pre-season shambles of the last few seasons are not repeated. Surely the battle call to all squad players at the present time is to stick together and dangle the 2019 carrot of the SPL in front of them.
  7. Now that I can believe.
  8. I presume that Charlie B was washing his hair.
  9. But we did celebrate yer departure.
  10. How many turned up and who were they ? Or does this lie in the realms of the Secrets / Confiedntiality Acts ?
  11. Doh - surely even non-Seers could have Feckin sensed that ?
  12. Do-do-do-do Dennis Wyness.
  13. It could be an aquifer ?
  14. It fair spoilt my day. I remained abstinent, sat for 90+ minutes, kept my lips pursed, consumed a whole bag of chewy Bon bond and behaved impeccably.
  15. I was looking forward to seeing you despite knowing that I would be bought a drink. I would have sat looking at Facebook on my phone and you would have been reading volumes of law books ?
  16. Ridgers ??? Must have appreciated the rest. No chance with the goal which was a screamer Seedorf ??? some nice touches, especially one showboat that Clarence would have been proud of. But a right back or wing back he is not. And I suspect that his attacking capability is stifled. Warren ???Solid but he is no playmaker McKay ??? Again solid but again not a playmaker and clear why we missed Donaldson. Fortunately Gary and Brad usually had Polly or Vigurs in space. Calder ??? Not a defender either and dived in completely in the run up to the Sons opener. Unlike Seedorf he has attacking flair and was always ready to take on the defender and hit the line in an old winger style that I still appreciated Polworth ??? Gawd does that poor lad get some stick or what ? He ran and ran and ran, some of his touches were sublime. He has got bad press for two second half errors. From my perspective if he had completed the final touch on both occasions it would have been a goal of the season contender and he would have walked off with the MOM. Chalmers ??? The man with the sweet left foot also appears to be the boo boys target. He basically sat and covered for Vigurs and Polly.I would have said that he was quietly effective. Vigurs ???? Provided a master class for an hour, pinging balls accurately all over the pitch. I thought he could have been carded for one horrendous follow through tackle in the first half and he clearly tired at the end Doran ??? Has lost a bit of pace but he is another with a high skill ability. Cracker of a goal. Oakley ??? I thought he had a lazy, lacklustre first half but a real old centre forward second half display. Appears to Be the boo boys favourite as he made more errors than Polly. But he would have been in my top three Austin ???? Well we have been asking for a goal scorer and he certainly fitted the role. Good turn of pace of the mark and good finisher to boot. I was surprised the he was hooked but I was told that it was a mistake and it was supposed to be Seedorf. Amateurish if correct. As DD alluded to Elbouzedhi looked sharp and I would like to see more. Disappointed that Robbo sent on Bell and not young McKay. Some of the refereeing decisions were bizarre. Good crowd and the Young Team were a credit. My first home game of the season and I can't understand what everybody has been complaining about ?
  17. Are you Bootiful Blair or Bowlicks Blair ? From me that is a serious question and not a bullshittt one.
  18. Hang Feckin on - after all the references to regulations and rules that has smothered this issue how has this been accepted ?
  19. First home game of the season ? Vigurs was a class above today - Austin took his goals well - Oakley was the old fashioned centre forward - Feel sorry for Polly as he was the hardest working player on the park - ok he makes mistakes but he is a Vigurs in the making and we have to cherish and encourage him. I can't believe some of the stick that he got today.
  20. No standing, no shouting, no swearing and not being drunk - i am fecked
  21. That is what I have been trying to put across Chris. After Dumbarton it is games against teams more favoured to secure a top 4 finish and two very difficult away games - plus I think that the Arabs have the easier run in. But secure another 6 points and we put the pressure on the other teams and give ourselves a chance that has never looked at all possible until now. If I was a bookie I would be setting the odds against us - but hey ho we could be the Scottish Roma ?
